The decor, the ambiance and the behaviour of the hotel staff.

The dinner items were not properly named. For example 1) they were offering "Beef" in the name of "tenderloin" which means soft meat from the sides of any animal. They didn't mention it was beef and the most surprising of all was that, they were ignorant of the meaning of the word "tenderloin". 2) They were also offering some meat item as "Lal Mas" which means "Red meat" in Hindi. It didn't mention whether the meat was beef, pork, lamb or goat. These are absolutely not expected from Taj Hotel

Breakfast was good as expected, few more Indian dishes could have been better. Location was apt for the purpose we came for, if and when anybody ask for the same purpose we will recommend this hotel only.

Exceptional service. Family enjoyed the stay, special mention to Lakshmi at F&B for her great service and for going out of the way to make sure we had a nice time during breakfast, especially my daughter. Special mention to Satish, the gym trainer..very helpful with suggestions and good conversations. Thanks!

Dinner was great. The staff at Anise were excellent.. especially Ram at dinner time and Saif and Subbu at breakfast. Subbu’s attention to detail was on point. He noticed we had a slight throat irritation and got us this excellent herbal drink that worked like a charm.Maaz and Jasmine at the front office were exceptional too.

It was a Wonderful experience to try this hotel. Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city center,extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. supermarket ,shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. special thanks to Mahasweta and subbu

Location and services.

Even though the amenities, location, comfort, cleanliness, and all the usual parameters of a hotel were great, the real winner at Coromandel are the staff. Right from front office, to the Tea Lounge, to the restaurants, housekeeping, and groundsmen, the staff are extraordinary and exceptional. Many have worked there for 25+ years, and that is a true testament to the hotel.
