Beautiful rooms in a stunning location.
We thought the food was not good value for money. We were only served the full breakfast buffet on only one morning. The other morning there was no fruit or cheeses etc. The dinners were average with bones in the fish and the one baked chicken dish with broccoli was awful. Broccoli hard and a couple of tiny chicken pieces. There was no reaction when we pointed it out. On previous visits the food was much better

Loved the personal attention to detail things like a wee pillow sweet every night
I didn't like the adjoining door between the 2 rooms in the chalet. It meant I could hear everything single thing my neighbours were saying and doing.

Lovely room (suite) and bathroom, all the little extras (gown, slippers, Nespresso, toiletries) and underfloor heating.
Staff were very friendly, but service was a little slow at times.

Perfect location for what we wanted - quiet and a visit to the mountains. Clean facilities. Great food.
Some small signs or arrows to highlight the correct path from the more remote rooms to the restaurant would have been helpful

Service excellent especially on day of arrival.we had a flat tyre due to the portholes. Staff called and assisted us . When we arrived at destination we had a delicious meal waiting for us in our room cos we arrived very late.

Breakfast was good, service slow. Location good.
The service was slow, no follow up to find out if we want more coffee, if everything was ok. Some of the other guests were looking for jam and there was no member of staff anywhere around. THey had to go to the kitchen.

The friendliness of the host and staff was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed chatting to Mario. The quality of food and flavour was great. We looked forward to dinner every evening and after five nights of stay the chef was continuously impressive. The wine selection was also on point.

The whole manor has fantastic charm and is set in a beautiful area with an extended garden. Peace, tranquility and friendly staff at its best. Highly recommended!

Comfortable and Relaxing … just wonderful
easy to be found, use google maps to get there comfortable. The hotel has just a couple of luxury rooms. The rooms are big. Very nice furniture. Very clean. High level standard. The hotel is located in a very spacy area. This is nature pure! Food is excellent, we had very seldom food in this quality in South Africa. Service always perfect and friendly. Wifi existing and strong. All in all very luxury place, very romantic atmosphere. You get value for your money! Would we come again? YES !! We will be back for sure.
