Great staff, very welcoming. Excellent location for what we needed.

Windowless room. Clean but very oppressive. Scanned a QR code at a table in front of reception to join the Z Hotel membership. Instead I was subscribed to a dodgy VPN service. I'm still trying to cancel the subscription.

Clean, modern, quiet. I was able to leave my bag at the front desk for the day, which was really helpful. Very friendly staff during the day.

The attitude of the night staff. When I checked in at 11pm, I did not feel welcome at all.

Very helpful check in staff, room was very cold when I arrived and the aircon temperature cannot be changed by the guest in the room but the helpful receptionist advised he would sort it and did so immediately and within half an hour the room temperature was fine.

room never got cleaned and I asked for fresh towels and never received them.

It was dirty, nice interiors in the rooms but we found hair on the white bedsheets and our cups were dirty as well. Room was very very small. Sadly the bar/ restaurant was completely under construction so no breakfast, even tho it was advised on the booking.

The location is fantastic (few steps from Bus stops and Underground Station), the staff is always willing to provide support and the rooms are pretty clean; They can keep your luggage before and after check in.

The beds are uncomfortable, they need to change the mattress right away, also change the pillows for softer and fluffy ones.

I have stayed in Z location hotels before and this one had the smallest room ever, but we managed as it was only 1 night. The noise was a big problem / the aircon kept switching on and off during the night waking us up constantly , with the loudest noise - even though we switched the aircon off - we had a late night and busy day , so a good sleep was an essential for us. Then from early in the morning , housekeeping were making so much noise outside the door waking us up, knocking doors and trolleys etc - you couldn’t sleep through after 8/8.30 with the noise - no soundproofing

small basement room. corridor smelt of drains. air conditioner was loud. could hear the tubes passing by along with the sounds of the upstairs room flush. could also hear an other room's shower or when someone else used water due to the pipework groaning.

someone was smoking in the rooms nearby so it was quite smelly. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and even though I switched it off it came back on…

the location was so close to the tube and in a great neighborhood.

the rooms were quite small but really it was all we needed, a place to sleep. the beds weren’t very comfortable but they were fine.

the matras/bed was really hard which resulted sometimes in pain in the back in the morning.

Room went over 30 degrees during the night with the air conditioning pouring out hot air even though I turned it to minimum temperature I reported this to reception early evening only to be told they would adjust it to cold (which it did for a few minutes) only to wake up 2am and nearly pass out due to the extreme heat being pumped into the room Literally I managed to turn it off completely - and then it would not come back on at all and just flashed red and beeped... Raging!

excellent location, 2 minute walk from the subway

location is less than 5min walk from old street station with a lot of restaurants nearby.

staff can be friendlier. hotel common bathroom was not available when i reached and I wasn’t able to check in so not able to freshen up before i go out.

location was great. modern styling and close to the tube.

if a couple, hope you are not shy using the bathroom in front of each other. other than that the location and style were great, but biggest issue is the bed has to be one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on.
