The house was perfect for us, plenty of bedrooms and loved that several of the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms, made showering etc so much easier with our group and the views of the marsh were very lovely.

Our trip was wonderful. We had pretty amazing weather as well! 1st vacation for our 8 wk old grandaughter!
House and location were amazing but I was unaware that it was a two family (had I really paid attn to the address I may have questioned the owner-62A?
We have stayed in Scarborough for many years and we love Pine Point ! Walk to the beach very short. Baileys, The Stern and Salt City with in a five minute walk.... don't want to leave out The Garage BBQ..... great place also! ... also walkable!! House was clean and three floors certainly worked well will an 8 wk old up a couple of times a night. We would love to rent again here and possibly bring another family to occupy the other half!

We are very pleased with this property. Everything is great with a slight exception of the small kitchen, no vegetable peeler and confusing plug in burners- induction pans only work on the burners and there are too many pans that won't heat up.
We hope to be back because those negatives are slight!

It was surprising that this house did not have a real stove and the microwave was hidden in a closet!? The house does NOT have a hot tub as stated in the writeup, and the property has a trashy backyard. The bedrooms however are very nice

Perfect spot for a family beach vacation. Morning kayaking across the marsh, beach all day, great seafood dinner options around the corner and a cozy bar next door. House accommodations were excellent and had all we needed.

Our family had pleasant stay at the Pine Point House. Location was perfect and the sunsets were amazing!
House was plenty big for our group (6 adults and 3 children)
Kitchen however small was manageable:
A few touch ups and this place would be 10/10

We had a great time and enjoyed the stay. Property has great views and easy walks to beaches and restaurants. We were able to have meals in as needed comfortably and enjoyed backyard fire pit in evenings. Appreciate the opportunity and hope to return soon.

We stayed here for a week for our annual "friends-cation". It is in a quiet neighborhood, and very close to all that we wanted to do. The restaurant scene was spotty nearby, but we knew that would be the case as we were there in the off-season. I would love to go back to try some of the more interesting-looking restaurants when open. I gave fewer stars for the accuracy of the listing because there was no notice of the HUGE amount of stairs from the bottom to the top. We have one in our group with knee issues and it was an issue. We were led to believe the kitchen would be a full kitchen. It is not. There is a wonderful microwave and oven, but NO stove top. There are two plug-in hobs which do not give ample cooking temperatures, nor is there room in the tiny kitchen to cook. We had planned on cooking some nights, due to the off-season Restaurant situation, and it was a nightmare. We finally ended up steaming our lobsters on the grill outside. That being said, the owner was very quick to respond to any questions, and the place is truly beautiful in a great location.

There were lots of rooms for our family.
Funky kitchen with no stove top but everything worked as advertised.
Looking forward to our return someday

Clean & spacious property with gorgeous views!

The location of this property is great. Easy access to the beach and highway to Portland. Drew answered my emails leading up to our trip quickly. The door code was sent to me the day before our check in as promised. We were not contacted at all during our stay just to check in with us to see if there was anything needed. That said, the personal side of the rental needs work. The outside grills were a mess. We didn't use them. The firepit had several mismatched chairs that needed to be cleaned along with the picnic table. There is no firewood provided. There is a lot of junk laying around the property and under the screen house. Inside was overall good and as described in the rental description. There were a couple of missing light bulbs in key areas. We found extras in the laundry area. The smoke detector is missing in the third floor bedroom. For a rental that sleeps 12, there aren't many towels available. I've stayed at places before where a welcome basket was provided, directions how to use ammenties within the house like a TV with four remotes :), provide maps/restaurants/grocery stores - recommendations/ideas for the local area. After all, we are unfamiliar with the area. Like I said, the necessary items were provided but a more personal welcoming touch would be super and put this place over the top.

We loved our week! Location great. Clean house with plenty of room. Comfy beds. Kitchen a bit disorganized. Beautiful sunsets and nice outdoor area too.

Had an excellent stay! The house is absolutely perfect for large families! We were 8 adults and 5 kids under 5 and we had an amazing time. My only recommendations if you have small kids is to bring garbage bags that cover the windows, since there were no black out curtains. This is really just a mom tip I've gotten used to for travelling with my kids. Screened in porch is amazing to have, we spent a lot of time out there. The house is very spacious. We will be coming back next summer!

The views of the marshland and sunsets are stunning and the 3 minute walk to the beach (and to local restaurants) made this trip effortless and completely relaxing. Internet was a tad wonky, but otherwise our stay was flawless.

We had a lovely time. The only issue we had was the bunk bed in the unit. It needs to be stabilized.

Sunset is beautiful on the back marsh. This house is great for large gatherings - very comfortable. Loved the ample parking for our family and the fire pit! Drew was great at communicating and quick to respond. The only ‘issue’ we had was figuring out the bathroom situation for the double bed on the 3rd floor. All other bathroom are inside bedrooms except the downstairs half bath which makes for a hike in the middle of the night. More of just figuring out the logistics of it than anything else and only mentioning so others can have the info. Will look for Drew’s properties again for future stays!

This is a great property for a large family get together. Wonderful location, easy walk to the beach, great views out over the marshes and lots of fun to watch the changing tides. Inside the house is very comfortable with ample seating, silverware, dishes, pots pans, etc. The fireplace goes out when there’s a good wind and all the bedrooms are upstairs either two or three flights so people have to have good knees. Also, the stove is a bit unconventional with induction cooktop hot plates. However, all of us are buying them after using them for a week as they worked great! Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this house, and had a good time. Close to the beach. Lovely rooms and clean bathrooms. The fireplace needs some check up.

This home was great for our family. Only thing to say is that it did feel a little disorganized and cluttered. Great location, great family area!

The property was well located, we walked on the beach nearly everyday and had great access into Portland.
Bedroom situation was good for a larger family (8 adults, one infant). Could have had better bathroom access for this size of group.

We stayed in 62A, the rear part of the house, where two of the five bedrooms have unforgettable vista views over the Scarborough Marshes. Very peaceful to have morning coffee in bed just watching the boats and listening to the birds. Sunrises were amazing. Loved the shower with the jets. Small but functional galley style kitchen. Plenty of room for a big family group. Fire pit was great at night. Quiet neighborhood, three short blocks walk to the perfect beach. Beach toys/chairs and a cart provided. Would definitely recommend!

Great property for a multigenerational group. Close to a great beach, beautiful views of the marsh, and a well-stocked house that really had everything we needed. We were worried about not having a stove, but the hot plates worked out just fine for the dinners we prepared. The many rooms allowed for each family to have the space they needed, and the beds were comfortable. I would return.

Hello, To start the location is great, 2 to 3 minute walk to beach awesome! Check in process and communication Perfect! Now a few issues with the listing, please update and state that there is a front and back unit. The bathrooms are 3.5 not 4, no shower downstairs. Also, the house need some upkeep, the curb appeal is not is not like the pictures at all. Then the driveway is dirt/sand, this tracks into the house even if you take off your shoes. it turns into mud when it rains. it should be paved/small rocks. The fire place has 2 rocks missing, tv's did not work in all bedrooms. Second floor bathroom had shelf/picture that must have fallen and never fixed. This was the same in the second floor hallway. All the beds creaked when moving in them, not too comfortable. The shower curtain in the second floor bathroom with real dirty,/moldy it should be changed every 4 weeks, you can buy them at amazon for 10.00. Lightbulbs were missing in multiple locations and only light bulbs in third floor master bathroom, no fixtures.

Beach visit
Family members from various states joined us for a beach vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. The place had plenty of room for our group. When we called Drew he answered quickly each time and helped us with our questions.

It was just what we had hoped for
It was wonderful, accommodating the wide range of ages (8 months to 68 years) of our 3 generation family. Beach chairs, toys, carts and wagon made our trips to the beach easy. We used several different footpaths to the beach, and preferred the one on Avenue 1, as it got us away from the larger crowds by the public parking lot. Pine Point beach has great sand for walking and building and mostly gentle surf that is perfect for kids and body surfing and very picturesque.
The real wood fire pit was fabulous for family gatherings to watch spectacular sunsets over the marshes and toast Smores. The yard is tight, but the views are expansive (180 degree panorama over the marshes.) We parked four cars that could all get out without jockeying them.
The great room on the first floor was perfect for baby and small kids to play in and for playing card/board games in the evening. The porch with its round table was our spot for most of our meals, as temperatures were not too hot or cold the last week in June.
Kitchen had everything we needed (even lots of lobster eating tools!), but storage and counters are tight in this galley style. The stove and microwave are top notch. There are three separate portable induction burners rather than a stove top, we kept one out for all the quick cooking and left the others in the cupboard.
All the other spaces and rooms were spacious and comfortable and the beds were great. Nice cool breezes at night minimized the stuffiness of a/c (but it was great to have during the heat of the day).
It fit our wants and needs perfectly!

View of marsh at sunset was fabulous
This property's location is fabulous. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms large. The kitchen area was a bit of a struggle, but we knew it would be coming in. We are not TV/Roku smart, so we had some trouble with the TV's. Never did get the bunk room TV to work, but both masters were easy.

Location is Amazing!
This was our first trip to Maine. We wanted to be close to Portland but also close to a beach. The location was excellent. Our overall experience with this rental was fantastic and would recommend to others.
Here are my positive points and my negative:
Positive:
-Walking distance to the beach (5 mins)
-20 mins from airport and downtown Portland
-Restaurants in walking distance
-LOVE the backyard with the fire pit, corn hole and the beautiful marsh view.
-Big house and plenty of room. We had 6 adults and 2 teenagers. We used the fire pit and fire place every night.
-There is an amazing local gym I highly recommend called Foleys. We worked out there every single day.
Negative Points
-Cleanliness was not quite at the level we like
-Parking was challenging with the front unit at times. But once worked out was fine.
-We stayed the week of the Memorial holiday which was perfect for us however it was just before the busy season starts which is why many of the shops and restaurants were closed during the week.
Thank you for an amazing vacation in this beautiful home.

Great location and great property
The property was perfect for our stay. Lots of space, beautiful views, walking distance to the ocean, fire pit, etc.; it made for a lovely week
This is not a concern or problem with the property but people with mobility issues should know there are lots of stairs to climb.

Spectacular Marsh Views and Gathering Place
Great views and facilities with bedrooms, bathrooms and entertainment spaces indoors and outdoors. Loved waking up to a 270 degree view of the river and marsh with boats, birds and clam diggers. Everything we needed to have a good time was in the house or within short walking distance. Summer Place II is great!

Girls getaway
The pictures represent the property very well. The house is three floors and each floor has a beautiful view. A couple of things that should be addressed for future guests - the fireplace did not work properly and the front of it even fell forward towards the chairs and the second item that was concerning was the first floor toilet, it worked but it would act like it aaa going to overflow- not sure if the pump was working properly.
The house had great accommodations for us all to be quite comfortable and to enjoy conversation and dinner together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nicely decorated. The backyard are is great for hanging out by the fire pit or playing corn hole. I would definitely stay here again!!

Family Vacation
The property, house & location were very nice. The owner was easy to reach prior to our stay and responded to all messages within a few hours. There was some dirt on countertops & stand when we arrived that I wiped down myself. Bathrooms & bedding were all clean.

Great stay!
Really enjoyed watching the changing marsh views and the short walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our multi-generational gathering - the many bedrooms and bathrooms were a great fit. Easy places to retreat and to gather. Tons of natural light and comfortable space.

Beautiful Spacious Property with Great Views!
Overall we really enjoyed this property and would definitely stay here again! I booked this property for myself and a few females for my sister's bachelorette gathering April 2022. Obviously too cold to enjoy the beach, boardwalk, and other summer activities we really loved the area and the house. The location was great, just enough privacy and beautiful surrounding scenery to feel like a "vacation", but close enough to convenience stores and other retail in case you need to grocery shop or run out for basic needs, etc. The house layout is great for larger groups, the bedrooms were spacious and far enough apart and on different levels so there's plenty of privacy if needed. The kitchen area, as others have noted was very small and the lack of a real cooking range was interesting but we made it work. Overall the house was very clean, check in was a breeze and we really enjoyed our stay. Only criticisms were some small and fairly inexpensive details that could be improved. First, there is NO SAUNA - we spent probably an hour looking for it and realized it no longer exists apparently. The "fire pit" outside while supplied with a random bottle of lighter fluid is actually is fueled by propane, which there was none provided, so we ended up buying some and then fire pit still didn't work, so wasted money and time there. Also, the lawn and patio furniture outside and on the bedroom deck wasn't setup, which I chalked up to it being off season, so we were left to play furniture Tetris in order to attempt to enjoy the fire pit (that was eventually determine to be inoperable after all) and the deck off the bedroom. Most of the patio / outdoor chairs were broken so we didn't have enough chairs for everyone in our party. The 1st floor deck screen was ripped, the deck itself on the first floor could use some cleaning/fresh paint - compared to the rest of the property it was kind of shabby; because let me tell you - the rest of the inside of the house is well decorated and kept. The indoor fireplace kept going out on the last night and following day into our stay, so disappointing as we weren't able to enjoy it the entire time. Last minor gripe would be the parking "lot" which was muddy, so we removed many of the rugs to prevent tracking dirt on them; maybe gravel or shells in a portion of the back yard/parking lot would help avoid this in the future. As I said, overall we had an amazing time! Would stay here again for sure. You won't regret it!

Birthday Stay
We enjoyed the stay. Minor things were a little inconvenient. There was not a complete working kitchen, no stove, but we made it work. Listing also showed a sauna, which we were looking forward to because we planned on being outside a lot and thought that would be nice and relaxing. However, the sauna had been removed and we did not know that. Other than that, the house is beautifully decorated, spacious and clean with great views.
