The staff were very friendly and helpful. I think they, along with the location, make the place. The location was awesome. Nice neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and cafes (many hidden in the alleys). It was also great that there was shampoo, bodywash and conditioner in the showers, and. quite nice quality too. The cafe down is cost and nice (but I guess too expensive for young travelers).

The bed/mattress is very uncomfortable. It is made of some kind of styrofoam (I think) with a synthetic/plastic (I think) cover. It’s quite bad material to sleep on. You also can't sit on it properly either, because you slip if you want to sit against the wall of the capsule. Furthermore, there are more than 20 capsules in one room what means there is always someone making noise. And almost everything, unfortunately, can be heard , from putting a plug in the socket to opening a bag and blow-drying hair. The movement of the one who sleeps up can also be heard very loudly, because of the kind of wood the caspules are made of and the plastic cover of the mattress. Further, there are virtually no facilities (only a paid washing machine, shampoo etc., and a few umbrellas).

Good location and easy to get to public transportation. Bed is comfortably enough. House rules were followed by everyone and very quiet good for sleeping.

There is no common sitting area in the dorm, only by the cafe.

ease of entry, great for a solo traveller that just wants a place to stay. if you are looking to meet people this might not be the best hostel.

The area is like a small town closest to convenience stores and resto, train station just 3 minutes walk, and near yoyogi park.

The location is great.

The security camera in the dorm room is SO LOUD. When it moves, it makes a horrible sound. It moves every 7 seconds. I couldn't sleep because of it.

I love the cafe and the food and the hostel was really clean and the location was right near the train station and the yoyogi shrine. The staff were very nice and polite. Great location. I was nervous about being in a hostel but I’m happy it was this one great experience.

Amazing location, polite friendly staff, good value for money, clean enough. There’s a cozy coffee shop on the first floor which opens at 11:30. I wish it opened earlier for breakfast.

Well, this is a capsule hotel, so it’s noisy. Especially the auto lock at the entrance. If your bed is close enough to the door – you will suffer. The lock at the door doesn’t open immediately, so everyone who’s entering for the first time is trying very hard to pull the door right after they enter the passcode (even me). It doesn’t sound loud outside when you are trying to pull it, but there’s a banging sound inside.
