The garden is spectacular with a lot of space to leisure and to socialize with other guests. There are a lot of fruits and vegetables growing. So well designed, thought and prepared for you to enjoy. You can also do laundry.

The place itself was surrounded by the mountains so views were pretty amazing. We really liked the common space - barbecue, kitchen, the garden where you could relax in the hammock. Bathrooms were very clean and almost not busy during the most of the time. We will definitely come back for longer.

The only thing that could be changed is check-in time as it was only between 3pm and 6pm so you have to adjust your schedule a bit. Nothing bad besides it!

Really enjoyed our stay, Granny's farm is a beautiful place with well maintained surroundings. The place is clean and is equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Host was very friendly and available for questions.

Amazing adventure in this beautiful mountainous area. You definitely need a car to get here comfortably and it’s a perfect location to start off many hikes and north shore explorations! Be prepared and bring some ear plugs as other guests around you in the tents mouths snore like crazy… :D

Beautiful little bungalows set in a tropical fruit orchard. We had everything we needed for our stay, and Cristina was really welcoming and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

overall, this is a lovely property! the location is beautiful , high up in the hills where you can look at the surrounding terraces. - the garden is really lovely and well maintained - the kitchen comes equipped with a toaster oven, a microwave, kettle, stove, fridge and multiple ways to make coffee! - the property is very quiet at night - the bed is comfortable and is on the firmer side - washing machine (communal), although it does cost €3.50 per load - self check in is available and is very easy! No worries if you have a late flight to Funchal! - the wifi does go in and out a bit but when it is there it is pretty good! perfect for a quiet escape. Note that you will likely need a car to get to most places! the Bungalows are nice, especially for the price

- the bed is really small. It might not be a problem, but my husband is very tall so he had trouble fitting. It is strange because the bedroom is quite large! - the local dogs are so loud! it is not local to this area, for some reason Madeira dogs really love to bark. bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper - there is no dryer and in the winter things don’t dry easily, even in the sun. our towels were mildew-y by the last night (we spent 5 nights here) and we didn’t know where to go to switch them out. - the pillows were very large and firm. I ended up using a rolled up hand towel rather than the included pillow

The location was amazing, with a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains. The garden was very well mentained, the tent and the facilities were very clean. You might find some bugs creeping into the tent or bathroom though, so if you're squirmish, beware, but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable - and considering the camping setting, it was to be expected. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There was also shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, and (very soft) towels were provided. Staff were very polite and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the blankets were very warm, and there was a mini fridge in the tent. The other travelers were also very nice, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. We're sorry for leaving the tent in a bit of chaos, we were in a hurry to catch the bus 😅

Granny's Farm is the most amazing place that we have ever been given a chance to stay in! It's a place that made us just say WOW!!!! The view in the area is just mind blowing!! The fruit garden is so beautiful and meticulously maintained. The place has all you need to have a great time in Sao Vincente. There is a small bar where you can get great poncha and the owners sell their own wine (which was really good!!!) We stayed in one of the bungalows. It has a comfortable bed, a sofa, clean bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen in case you want to prepare some meals for yourself.

I regret that we stayed only 3 nights!! We should have stayed much longer!

Fantastic location, with tents situated in a beautiful garden (banana trees, passion fruit, cucumbers) . The place is Very quiet at night. There is both an indoor- and an outdoor kitchen with BBQ/grill, with all the amenities, and the toilets and showers are modern and very clean. Christina is a great host, and very quick in responding to any questions. The place is a great location from where to explore the whole island. Seixal blacksand beach is just 15 minutes away! Would definitely stay again!

A beautiful place tucked away between the mountains. The hosts are very nice and welcoming Sleeping in the tents was an unforgettable adventure :)

One of the best places to relax after a few days of activity and exploring on Madeira. It was super quiet, like a small sanctuary, and provided all that we needed: a comfy bed, a place to cook, and hammocks and beanbags to read and relax. Everything here is so cute. The shared bathrooms were always clean, great showers for couples. The small bar was a pleasant surprise! Make sure to order a Poncha and a bottle of wine and enjoy your evenings with fellow travelers.

Without a car, there's not much to do around here – which wasn't a big problem for us, as we only wanted to relax. But the closest supermarket (that has more than oats, nuts and tins) is 30 mins walking steep downhill and back uphill. Totally okay, but better make sure you plan ahead what you want to eat!
