Everything! from staff behaviour to location, From food to interior. The staffs are polite, food was tasty, rooms were clean. This was my first time at the Fairfield Marriott and I really liked the hotel alot. I will definitely check in at your hotel next time. I had checked in at the hotel around 1:00 am but still Mr. Apurba was very helped us a lot and made us comfortable. Overall it was a very nice and relaxing stay with great food. I will surely recommend this hotel to my circle.

Ahh I guess the only thing I didn't like that I couldn't spend more time in the hotel. It was very hectic schedule due to urgent meeting at Mayapur but next time I will surely stay more days.

Cancelling my booking without any information

The 9:00am to 7:00pm day booking is a very innovative offering, especially for the transit passengers. Excellent staff.

I had 9:00am to 7:00pm day booking. However, while we reached by 9:45am, the room was not available until 11:15am.

I am a regular visitor to this place and loved everything about Kolkata and Marriott. This place is filled with female staff and they are indulged in every activity right from reception,dining to luggage assistance/room service.This is one reason I always opt for Marriott Kolkata being a solo female traveller. Debolina to Ruksana everything was great here...Thank You Marriott.

Restaurant was closed for lunch on Saturday, couldn't order even a glass of juice or a coffee.

staff were so rude, and I have to wait for approx. 1 hour (20 minutes in queue and 40 minutes for room check in) so unorganized service, and the receptionist was asked me to cancel if i dont want to wait.

The front desk staff were not cooperative at all. First they delayed check in to a day room for an hour when the hours are fixed in the first place. Samiran kept delaying issuing the key card saying anenities are being placed in the room ar 2:30 pm. No explanation was given as to why the room wasnt ready by our check in time. Another front desk staff Maitreyi just asked us to cancel the room when we asked why the room wasn't ready. Very unprofessional behaviour throughout. Once in the room only one bath towel was provided and when we asked for another ome they gave us a towel with dirt stains all over it. We asked for the bill to be ready half an hour before we checked out but when we came down to the lobby the bill wasnt ready as apparently their server was down for the last 20 mins. Just a horrible experience overall.

A warm reception in cold weather, guided baggage drops to room during checkin, comfy beds, the breakfast with pot chai.....The kids working there are very cool and provides good assistance......The place was filled with colorful people and kids assembled for wedding and birthday celebrations with bands which made my stay great....There is a butter wala uncle at the restaurant.....He allocates places on time and goes out of his way to fetch butter if needed....Thanks to him.....A special mention to Apoorva and sing who helped in untime checkouts and quick laundry...Great place to stay!

The location is very prominent and convenient. The room, though not big, is well laid out and provides space for movement. Same can be said about the bathroom. The view through the glass window is very nice. The room was clean, linens & towels were clean and fresh. Plenty of drinking water bottles in the room. No need to call for these.

The bed needs to be more supportive. It is too sinking. The markings in the intercom handset are absolutely indistinct and illegible. There was no telephone guide and we were unable to call house keeping, room service etc. There was only one glass for two guests. The coffee sachets could have been four instead of two.

I like the hotel staff very much the location was very good , the behavior of the people there was very good. Breakfast and Dinner at the restaurant were excellent. Overall I liked the experience here very much.

Location is superb in terms of access from airport for which I had booked the hotel. Also hotel has a car service which can pick up customers and take them to hotel which I used. Staff very friendly and explained everything well. Breakfast was exceptional as well with lots of choices and all the was good views of the city. I will stay again at this hotel. The hotel’s services took the stress out of arriving from an international flight and I was able to recharge and refresh from my jet lag.

The location is new side of Kolkata near sector V and Axis Mall of new town. Very airy and free of congested buildings or old buildings and dense traffic of Kolkata. Staff was very friendly. One of the senior lady managers assisted us with the luggage and assisted my father a super senior citizen. The emotional sensitivity of the staff moved me. The manager named Mr. biswas at the restaurant was very friendly and spoke Bengali. He took special note of request of my father about breakfast. Fairfield marriot new town is comparable with ITC sonar bangla where I have stayed twice. The staff makes u feel home. Well ventilated gym and very good open air restaurant. The amount of light entering the entire building makes it very good. City center hotel near Park Street or Esplanade where I have stayed a few years back doesn't have that much ventilation and light.

Be prepared to travel 30 mins to reach Esplanade or Ballygunge. It is not in colonial and old city center of Kolkata. An uber may cost u 600 to 700 INR in peak traffic to reach south kolkata.

The food is very good. My first experience with the restaurant was very bad but this time it was excellent, specially the staff who was attending us. I shared my first experience and he went for his best to satisfy us. Amazing dedication.

Room size is not that good. The smoking zone and adjacent swimming pool and open area was not clean enough to the brand reputation.
