Had 30 people of all ages. The comment from all 7 families was great. Very spacious and right off of the lake. Having two kitchens was great. Main room was much bigger than pictures make it look. We travel to Island park every two or 3 years as a family. We will defiantly try to get this again!! Kim

We stayed here with a group of about 30 and had such a fun stay and had enough room for everyone! It was not quite as clean as we hoped when we arrived but the host was amazing and so responsive and they corrected the matter so quickly! I would note the 9th bedroom is more like a loft and does not have an actual door but curtains to “close off” the area from the rest of the home, we were a little surprised by that when we arrived. Would stay here again and we had such a fun time and made so many memories!

This property is an excellent property for our family event. We had four families, 13 kids raging in ages from one to 16. The location on the lake is excellent. The lawns provide a great playground and the home of amenities are wonderful. The kitchen is well appointed and we used it to cook a lot of meals. The double dishwashers are a lifesaver. The two fridges allowed us to store all of our food. We rented a boat and was able to use the dock at the property Which was very convenient. I would highly recommend this property And we will book it again

Very much as advertised. Large, spacious and fully equipped. Easy communication with hosts and very friendly. Parking of large vehicles and trailers was a tremendous positive surprise! Would utilize this property in the future.

We brought our children and grandchildren and had the time of our life. We had enough room to eat, play, and make latimer memories!

Great home for our family of 23. Very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the large, well equipped kitchen that was open to the eating and gathering area with a beautiful view of the lake. The large grassy area in the back yard was perfect for games and led right down to the dock. The host were very responsive with any concerns or questions we had.

Getting our entire family together once a year takes a lot of effort. But being all together is very important to us and so we work hard to make it happen and then play hard - strengthening relationships and creating memories to last a lifetime. We have made multiple trips to Island Park, Bear Lake, Pineview, St. George, Park City, Hawaii, California - and this years stay at "Lythgoe to the Lake" has been hands down the best ever! From the moment we entered the gated community we felt confidence with our decision and safety in our environment. Throughout the whole process the owner was friendly, responsive and very helpful. The house was modern, spacious, clean and sat right on the lake shore with it's own private dock for our boats. There was plenty of room for us to all gather together as well as smaller areas for the children to play. BOTH kitchens were well equipped with everything we needed and the 3 total fridges were greatly appreciated. Bedrooms on 3 levels allowed the married kids and grandkids to be separate from each other and yet the gathering spaces were large enough for the whole group of 30 of us. The oversized back deck was perfect, allowing us to watch the kids play and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the lake. Family - good food - fun and games. I’m spoiled now, and we’ll be back. I definitely recommend this place!

This home on the lake was perfect for our large family! We had other activities, but the cabin property was so awesome all the kids just wanted to play on the lake. There was plenty of room for smaller groups to enjoy conversation or play on their own. I would definitely recommend staying here to friends and family!

We loved our stay at Lythgoe! We have a very large family and somehow we never felt like we were crowded here. Between the bedrooms, indoor gathering areas, outdoor gathering areas and the lake we had more than enough space. The kitchen was perfect, the large pantry and 3 fridges/freezers provided lots of space and the kitchen had all of the appliances and tools we needed. The grassy area out back provided plenty of space for games and activities. The private dock made playing in the lake fun and safe for everyone. Everyone in our family had nothing but great things to say about the property, thank you!

We had our family reunion in this house and had the best time. Beautiful, clean home at the most perfect location right on the shore of the reservoir. The owners were helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

We had five different families stay over the holiday weekend with 13 kids ranging from newborn to 15. The house was as advertised and was fantastic. Kitchen was very well appointed, and everything worked great. The host was extremely informative, and a pleasure to work with not many times does something exceed your expectations but this home did.

This place is amazing! The set up of the house is perfect. Our family loved it and wants to go back!

Loved the location by the water. We kayaked, paddle boarded, and fished. (Fun fishing with Grandpa and cousins!) A lot of room for meals. We ate inside and on patio, just wished it was warmer weather...but we still travelled in the rain. We all loved Yellowstone and sharing time with family!

The property was perfect for our family reunion. The 2 main fridges held all our food, the kitchen was large enough for a buffet, there were extra tables and chairs in the storage room to accommodate a large crowd, and plenty of couch space. The property is big with breathtaking views and lots of yard space to place. The only critique I would have would be that it felt weird to have a camera above the hot tub as it doesn't lend to a relaxing atmosphere, but I understand if the owner is afraid of crazy behavior.

We loved our stay. The home was very large and handles large groups with ease. There is plenty of supplies for everyone. We loved the views from the deck. The large yard was wonderful and we enjoyed boating on the water.

Top of our vacay list! Beautiful views! Wonderful home with plenty of room for all 22 of us. Very attentive hosts. Ten days wasn't enough. Yellowstone Park and Town, horseback riding, rodeo, Mesa Falls, boating, tubing, jet skiing AND COMPLIMENTARY kayaks, paddle boards and volleyball!

Came for a family getaway with a large extended family group and this property absolutely delivered. The open plan provided ample social opportunities. The location is perfect! We love Island Park. Can’t wait to return!

We loved everything about this place, but the small dock because we are a 2 boat 2 wave runner family.

I had my wedding at this property. It was perfect! Plenty of space, beautiful view, private dock was so convenient. Created great memories there! The owners were super quick to communicate when we had a question!

Awesome lake front view and nice home!

Was only about 40 minute commute to Yellowstone and on our stay home days we enjoyed the lake views, kayaking, the fire pit and the hot tub. Owner was always very responsive when we had questions.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the number of bedrooms and beds for our group. The twin beds in the loft and in some of the rooms made it so nice for everyone to have their own bed. Kitchen was well stocked. Lawn was a fun place to hang out and play games. Loved the access to the lake. Kari was very responsive and accommodating.

We had a great stay. The house was gorgeous and the hosts were easy to talk to and responsive.

An amazing location and home. We had rain, snow flurries and sun. Never a dull motion with so many activities at the house. The view was awesome, full moon over the lake. Very relaxing and peaceful. We definitely recommend bringing your family and friends here. Kari is a wonderful host and person.

The house, location & scenery were amazing. We had rainy weather and couldn’t do a ton, but this rental was the perfect place to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

We had a group of 15 people stay at the house for a long weekend and it was easily the most comfortable stay we’ve had in the 9 years we’ve been going to island park. The house and views are beautiful. We had so much room (with plenty of beds left empty) and will definitely be staying again. We’ll have a bigger group next time and I feel confidently it will be just as comfortable the second time around.

This property was all that it is listed as: beautiful location on the lakefront, the big lawn area was perfect for group activities, nice fire pit and large deck with seating, plenty of space for a big group. The kitchen was lacking nothing and the downstairs living space was great. The upstairs sleeping areas were great for big groups of kids-plenty of beds and space to spread out. The owners were so easy to work with and made it an easy process from check in to check out. HIghly reccommend this property for anyone with a big group coming to the Island Park area.
