Great experience at the hotel. The staff was very attentive and friendly. From Kay checking us in, to Ally at the Tulu bar holding it down all morning long! For it being a resort though, garage parking should be included!

Beautiful ocean and beach location. Pool heater didn’t work 6 out of 7 days, it was freezing, so disappointing, slow rooftop restaurant service but very kind workers.

Overall we had a good experience but we stayed at Embassy suites a few weeks prior & staff was alot friendlier there. We expected more from Marriot.

Our bed sheets were dirty like never changed, bathroom had mold and was also dirty I bought cleaning stuff. We had no phone that worked so when I wanted to call front desk o needed to walk there. And they gave us half a roll of toilet paper. I usually love this hotel but it has gone downhill since then and I’m not sure I will ever stay here again.

I was very disappointed with my stay, the customer service was off from the last time, when I called about my room I was told that it would be ready in 29 mins then 40 mins later I called again to be rudely told check in was at 4, even though people who arrived after me already had a room. I requested to be put through to front desk and was told there were no phones which was a lie as I saw them answer the phone. Property was not well kept up and trash was overflowing in lobby. Bathroom toilets were clogged and property was equivalent to a much much cheaper hotel.

Great property

Property has great amenities and the rooms are updated but we booked a room with a king bed and ocean view but when we got there we had a room with 2 double beds and no view. We were looking at the dirty roof and air conditioning noise made it impossible to enjoy the balcony. The balcony was a big factor for us and it was terrible. Expedia gave back $130 but after $700/night that did not cut it. I would be careful booking through Expedia next time.

The property is amazing. Unfortunately Marriott management is the worst ! They don't care. They gonna have full capacity anyways. Two months ago, I spent few days at the Gaylords in Orlando (managed by Marriott) and it was a disaster. I was hoping to get a better service this time around. I am definitely done with Marriott.

This is a very nice property with terrible service. At check-in, they failed to give our family 2 rooms next to each other; worse, our rooms were not even on the same floor. The receptionist promised us that the hotel would contact us the next day to remedy the situation; they never did. We requested a later check-out as it was our 6 year old’s birthday: denied. We paid over $3,000 for 2 nights, yet beach chairs were not included and charged several hundred dollars extra. The restaurants were half empty, yet we couldn’t get a table due to understaffing. Breakfast selection was one of the poorest I’ve ever seen in a Marriott. The food was small portions and overpriced. The sad thing is: this is a fantastic property. New hotel, great beach and location. It just needs proper management.

The elevators were not reliable for the first two days of our stay, but were reliable for the final two days. That was the biggest issue. We love this location, and make it our go-to when we come into Virginia Beach.

Over all it was good. Food Service is slow, and not that friendly ( helpful), lots of waiting, it could be executed much better.( Use to work in restaurant business). Hotel is clean and nice looking

Great hotel. Unfortunately I paid extra for a partial ocean view and did not get one. There was a building blocking the view so the experience I was hoping for was not there…

This was the worst place I ever stayed.

We enjoyed the facilities and amenities such as the gym, pools, and lawn games. What I didn’t enjoy is that outside food is not allowed, we didn’t want to leave the property due to the parking lot filling up early and often. The restaurant options in the resort are pricey, a bottle of water is $10. There are additional fees from parking, resort fee, chairs and umbrellas in the beach. I wasn’t made aware that the resort fee covered activities and events at the resort. We found out on our second day and all the activities were booked out several days ahead. At check in the person was quick to check me in with no guidance or service. Overall my kids loved the space and the rooms. Beds were comfortable and rooms were a good size. No complaints there.

I enjoyed my stay. It has an all inclusive feel with the amenities offered at the 2 other hotels. It’s a nice concept for adults and families. I’d refer the hotel to others, for sure.

Exceptional, nicest resort I have ever stayed in. All your needs are right in the resort. Truly the most relaxing vacation you can ask for. The pool is very thought out, and the views are spectacular.

This a beautiful setting. Very relaxing atmosphere. So many things to do in one area, no need to go anywhere else for food or activities. Chairs and towels services are very helpful. Parking is conveniently close to rooms. Will come back again.

In VA for a family visit and decided to take a few days to ourselves at VA Beach. We enjoyed the Marriott so much we extended our stay. You are directly on the beach with the boardwalk being close by. This is the last hotel on the strip so the beach is less crowded. We stayed in a panoramic room, ordered room service 3x/day, and relaxed. The room was a bit small but extremely clean. It was heaven.

No complaints would definitely book my next vacation here with the Marriott.
