I usually enjoy staying at Westin properties no matter where in the world I travel. Staying at The Westin Kuala Lumpur was all I have come to expect from this chain. Well-trained staff, lovely property, great location, comfortable room and a delucious breakfast spread.

Nice environment and nice room

The Westin is right next to the Pavilion mall. There is lots of shopping nearby and the Jalan Alor food street is a 10min walk. The hotel is nice and staff seems nice too.

I like the design of the hotel and breakfast is amazing with a lot of variety.

The hotel does not have the style and class of other five star hotels in KL but the location is great for the Pavilion and the staff are excellent.

Great view, great location, great staff. However, bathtub water was milky; didn't get to use it unfortunately.

Hotel bed sinking down when you lying on it. In the room no mineral water, they provide refillable water bottle which I feel is not hygiene friendly and safe during this time with Covid cases around. Very disappointed with this Quality.

This is a great property at the heart of the city.

It's a great place to stay for business or leisure, with plenty of eating and shopping on your doorstep. The staff were very nice.

The kind bed was a bit soft and tilted.

Friendly Staffs

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left our experience was 10/10. The staffwe exceptional, the property stunning and facilities surpassed expectation. The Westin is an oasis in the middle of a concrete jungle. Its pool area is sunken and surrounded by beautiful trees and walkways. The water feature cuts most of the outside noise so you are able to relax. The beds are luxurious as is the linen. Rooms are spotless and beautifully appointed. We certainly could not fault the property and looking forward to staying afain. Thank you all management and staff for looking after us so well.

Nice hotel across the road from the Pavillion shopping centre with many food options within walking distance. I booked a 2 bedroom suite and it was large with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, office, dining area and guest toilet. Great for a family or a group of friends.

You can’t beat the location of Westin Kuala Lumpur. It is in the heart of the shopping and tourist district with plenty of local food and shopping options within reach. It is also a mere 5mins walk to the light rails enabling you to get out of the city with no fuss. The service and staff is the highlight of this hotel. They almost never say no and is always ready to lend you a hand to load up or just open the door upon returning. The hotel provides daily cleaning and refresh of drinking water and basic coffee and tea replenishments. Not to mention that they have an amazing pool, a great gym with showers and lockers, great restaurants and bars all in the hotel itself. The only downside is perhaps how Westin Kuala Lumpur has aged. It’s bathrooms and furniture could use some refurbishment but still serves it purpose and does not affect the comfort of one’s stay. I’d recommend this hotel anytime.

Great downtown property. Easy walking to restaurants, shopping and twin towers. Nice restaurants and bars in hotel. 443 and ferria were our favorites. Friendly friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Hotel was able to make special arrangements specific to our needs. And the staffs were very friendly and accommodating. Pleasant stay! Hope to return again! 😁🙏

The plumbing is very loud for the shower, which drowns out the volume from the TV.

The bathroom needs to be updated. Very dirty bathroom tiles and room lighting was too low. There was no socket plug in the bathroom.

Unfortunately, for a 5 stars hotel, it did not live up to that standard for our stay. From the day of check-in, the room was not available until after 3pm check in time, as it was not ready. Then the extra bed that we ordered was not there so we had to chase it up 3 times before they found one. Then the shower head felt during the first use and luckily no serious injury. Finally, the room feel aged and not the freshness you expect for a 5 stars hotel. I do want to say given the above, credit should be given to the staff to want to fix these issues ASAP, but the feedback and rating is given based on my experience.

This is my 4th time staying at Westin but my experience this time was not as satisfactory as before. On the day of check in, I noticed that the tissue box in the toilet was empty. Also, there is only one tea spoon instead of the usual two. I called to make a request and waited for an hour but no one deliver it to us. Make another call and waited for another hour, still nothing happen. By then, we decided to go for our dinner. By the time we are back, still no sign of the things being delivered to us, so make another call and they said it was delivered! I insisted that nothing was sent over and invite them to come to the room to check, and finally, they sent someone to have it delivered to us. Next, the shower area is leaking, resulted in water flowing out of the shower area to the common area in the toilet.

Hotel has a proper club lounge that serves a good spread and it’s staff are attentive. But the property is rather old and its age is visible. The residence is and spacious but rather old. Gym is good. But the floor is blackish - which I assume is normal for most gyms

Property is very conveniently located, except restaurants and bar staff was not accommodated and acknowledged.

The property is well kept and feels a proper 5 star hotel. Only thing is that the condition is a bit dated given that it’s a rather old hotel. It is in a wonderful location, just opposite the Pavillon Mall.
