This is our second stay in this hotel.Everything, especially help from the staff and individual workers in this hotel is exceptional.We thoroughly recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody.

The hotel requests prepayment for airport pickup. At check-out, the hotel will charge you again and it will take 45 minutes for the hotel to clear up the matter. They know nothing and you must prove to them that you have made a prepayment - despite the relevant documents, the explanation intentionally lasts a long 45 minutes !!!! If there is not enough time to fly, you have to pay twice - I definitely do not recommend this hotel

Hotel is great and included breakfast was very good. The air conditioner seemed like it was a bit dirty. I had pretty strong sinus problems while in the room, but really was only in there to sleep. The a/c blows right on your bed. Other than that the room was clean and the hote staff were fine.

We had a lovely stay, the staff was great. Only Minor downside is that the breakfast was pretty basic.

Clean and comfortable. 10 minutes walk from a metro station. Breakfast was good, but be aware it is a vegetarian hotel (no eggs).

During my two-night stay with Hotel Casa Fortuna, I recall I need to remind the reception staff about five times to reset my room wifi’ as ‘data limit has been exceeded’. I have stayed in five hotels during the three weeks tour and this is the only hotel that kept the ‘data limit’ for wifi and it seems to last for only two hours.

Nice Hospitality and warm welcome, great room service. Rooms were small, expensive food in the restaurant. I will recommend it to my friends for sure.

Some of the other guests on my floor were smoking. When I reported this to the staff, they followed-up with those guests in question and also brought me an air purifier. Excellent customer service! Also, the breakfast spread is very tasty.

Well presented hotel in a central location. Staff attentive, well presented and helpful, particularly with directions. The hotel restaurant was professionally managed with an extensive menu and excellent food.

Very neat n tidy hotel. Friendly n helpful staff. Slight noise frm street. Very busy street esp peak hours. Was quite central. Would book again if I was in Kolkata.

This hotel was very good. Reception was always smiling and ready to help. Room was clean and neat. At night slightly noisy from traffic and within the building. Very central. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was great.

Very comfortable room. Front desk staff extremely helpful with touring recommendations. Tasty cuisine in restaurant. Only issue was with wifi having a daily cap on data transfer, which is resolved by a call to front desk. Still, its inconvenient and unnecessary.

I stayed with my parents for 4 days. The restaurant (Casa Kitchen) in hotel is very nice. Staff is polite and courteous specially the support staff (e.g. Raju da, non-front desk staff). Some of the front desk staff (2 ladies) were also helpful.Breakfast spread was nice as well.

This is a cosy hotel close enough to park street that one can walk to it. The amenities were good, room was clean. The only complaint is the way the shower is designed. There is no barrier between the shower and the surrounding area which tends to spill the water over the bathroom.I would definitely stay here again.

Kolkata is noisy. It is on the corner of 2 main roads one of which is below a major elevated highway. Therefore can be noisy even if well insulated. It says it is vegetarian. Actually it's vegan and the choice of breakfast food is limited If you are prepared to take on India roads then Victoria Monument is 25 mins inconvenient walking away. Not located particulary centrally should you want to be nearer town and better shops and restuarants

I very much enjoyed staying at Casa Fortuna, it was an excellent base for exploring Kolkata for a week. It is located in a nice neighborhood, close to good shopping and food options. The Maidan/Victoria Memorial is very close also. The Hotel staff are very pleasant, well organised, and helpful. While the rooms are a touch small they are well appointed and very comfortable. I would gladly stay again next time I am in Kolkata.

The room (209) itself would have been great but, and this is a big but, it is very noisy. There is a tall, narrow window in the bathroom to let the steam out but it doesn't completely close when you don't need it. As there is a massive, buzzing generator below the window, it gets unbearable. Furthermore, the room is atop the kitchen. Every once in a while you would hear loud chopping (weird I know) and people shouting, and then staff would smoke under your open bathroom window. But the worst is the internet. A web based login system that logs you out every now and then, passwords that don't always work, it's a massive pain. You get the login data only after they 'set it up', which can take 15-25 minutes depending on how busy the reception is. I cannot understand why they don't set that up beforehand, or have a bank of logins already created. Baffling. Over the 4 days i stayed at this hotel, I must have gone to the Reception desk 8 times to deal with the internet. For the price you pay, this is unacceptable. Words cannot describe my extreme level of exasperation.
