The staff members were the highlight of our stay, absolute credit to the guesthouse. Complementary breakfast - tea, coffee, toast, cereals, fruit juices which was great. I have to say the room and building in genereal are looking a bit worn and could do with a bit of a deep clean and freshen up. The mattresses and pillows really need an upgrade, the sheets are very thin but all smelt clean. Very close to Anfield stadium, we walked and took 30 minutes, driving there 5 minutes. We would stay again purely for such a warm welcome and kindness from the staff members.

A beautiful, large old house. Very spacious rooms with high ceilings. It is what it is, i hesitate to use the phrase cheap and cheerful as that would do it an injustice. Value for money, comfortable with great hosts - what more would you want!

Good experience

If you're looking for luxury accommodation this is not for you, but if it's a friendly welcome, helpful staff and basic comfort this is good value for money. A complementary self-serve buffet breakfast was an unexpected bonus which made the logistics of our day so much easier. The only downside was the room was quite hot but opening the window let in traffic noise.

Great experience. The staff were quite responsive and friendly. During check-in, they were kind enough to add free breakfast vouchers to my stay. Even though I never ended up going for breakfast, it was a nice gesture.

Welcoming staff. Unexpected complimentary continental breakfast. Plenty of parking, but a dodgy area (hotel itself very secure) Let down by the most badly stained mattress (that wasnt in a skip) I've ever seen.

The bed frame was covered in ground in dirt. Dust that accumulates over a few days is ok but this stuff has been there for a year plus.who cleans the place ? Plenty people to meet and greet but nobody cleaning the place. Friendly but noisy and dirty.

Overall we had a really good stay. The staff were fantastic, made us feel really welcome and even upgraded us to the biggest room I'd ever stayed in for ko extra charge. They provide free breakfast to give back to people during the cost of living crisis which I thought was a lovely touch and it was a really good spread. Bed clothes were super clean and could smell the freshness from them. The guest house is old and the bathrooms could definitely be updated as the shower barely worked. It is a little out of the city and in the red light area of Liverpool but we didnt notice anything like that during our stay.

Found hair on bottom sheet, assume from previous guest. Slept with towel on pillow.

Friendly staff. Lovely dinning room. Continental breakfast was a bonus. Rooms were fine. Always appreciative of tea facilities in the room especially after a 5 hour drive. Easy to get an uber into town.

Amazing people and great and caring also

Great stay hosts over and above to help upgraded room at no extra cost due to wife's mobility. Breakfast complimentary for season. Room/apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious bright, warm and quiet despite been on main road. Excellent hotel and will definitely visit again.
