Nice B+B very central. Cleanliness was great. Only thing we commented on was there wasnt enough toliet roll in the bathroom. Could do with a spare one in there.Nice touch with the toiletries and tea and coffee and biscuits. Although the cups could of been bigger.Nice view overlooking the river too. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is good for a few nights stay. Very convenient for location, rooms were what I needed. The staff were good and friendly.

Very nice and comfortable.

The room and particularly the bathroom smelt terribly of drains and what was obviously a major ventilation /damp problem. Stong air fresheners in the room were horrible and did not mask the problem just made it more horrible. Otherwise room was ok , small bit tatty, reception odd insisting on photo ID though room was paid for. If you have an option to stay elsewhere I'd say do that.

Perfect location at a perfect price. Very comfortable single room with a good sized en suite bathroom. Lovely girl on reception helped to make my short stay a very enjoyable one. Would definitely return here.

Really good location, staff were marvelous, clean & tidy if a little tired in some areas. Renovations do seem to be happening with the breakfast room being out of commission due to its renovation being in progress. So breakfast is currently unavailable although there are several alternatives within a few minutes walk. More than happy to stay here again.

I booked the hotel because it was inexpensive and the other reviews I read said it was clean. It was clean and tidy, the staff were great and it was perfect for my needs.

Room was comfortable but fixtures, fittings and decor a little tired. However, it was clean. Unfortunately my room was above the reception and kitchen, so i was woken at 6am by staff talking rather loudly. Breakfast was great, for £9.95 there was a buffet of cereals, fruit, buns, toast, yoghurts, juice, teas and coffee as well as a full english of sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans. Fab!

Nice room. Toilet made a bit of a racket when flushed. Extension cable also seemed not to be working. Very nice bed and furnishings. Well done guys.

You cannot fault this place for what you pay. I was running late(midnight) night manager stayed up to check me in despite having 6am get up. Room was clean, bedding towels etc spotless. Bed was comfy, shower was hot, everything I needed for a quick stop. Didn’t have breakfast but it smelt good

Toilet had limescale and they need to vacuum in the hard to see places too and clear old food from the fridge. Some annoying gurgling throughout the night from external pipes.Overall: It depends on the price whether you consider it fair or good. If you get it cheap, it could be a good deal.
