Excellent hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur

Excellent Hotel in KL. Really close to all important attractions and convention center. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast buffet had western and Asian options, the food was very good and service superb. I will definitely stay here again.

A bit noisy when there are guests walk past outside at corridor and guest room door isn’t very sound proof.

Nice modern hotel, great amenities, great shopping and restaurants around. We only had breakfast at the hotel which I rate 5 stars. Real quality breakfast with just the right amount of options to choose from. Adi and his team at breakfast were very attentive. We had a great chat, overall very professional and knowledgeable. My check-in experience wasn’t outstanding. We were greeted with welcome drinks which was nice after a long journey. We received our room card at the check-in desk without being told which floor and it actually escaped us too. I then went back to the desk to ask which floor only to be told we were given the wrong room card. No staff joined us up to the floor to show us around the room or even how things work. It felt rushed but wasn’t busy. I appreciate a swift check-in experience but this wasn’t it. RUMA hotel provided my mum with a delicious birthday cake which we both loved. I would stay at RUMA again but had to point out the little observations. The only real great experience was at breakfast like mentioned before. Make the service a little more personable, warm and welcoming.

Location: A hotel i frequented every time i’m in KL. central, walking distance to KLCC & bukit bintang (pavi), bcs i personally dislike driving in KL. Check in: staffs 10/10. Love the welcome drinks, minibar & breakfast choices (if you pay for the room w these options). Amenities: Chill pool, but not kid friendly. Complete gym, if you need one. Never tried the bar. Parking is free (make sure to not tap your T&G, take their tickets instead). Room: The rooms are big, new furnitures. Contemporary feel. deep tub. Sometime u can hear your neighbours if they’re too loud. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty inside the room, but not too much (it could be less dusty).

Great property, a nice change from the ‘big brands’, definitely a top choice for KL. Staff were very friendly and efficient and the location was convenient to key POIs.

We stayed at The Ruma Hotel for four days. What a wonderful stay it was, I've travelled all over the world over 35 years and this hotel rates in my top 5. Wouldn't fault anything.

Worth to stay and with high satisfaction

Ruma is an excellent hotel to stay at in KL. I was so extremely pleased with them checking in on me via WhatsApp a few hours after checking into the room to let me know that they are ready to assist me in anything I needed help with during my stay there. Also really appreciated the early check in since I arrived before 3pm. I also noticed that the service is very well thought through. For example, when I checked into the room the window blinds beside the bathtub was up to let the sunlight in. At night when I went back to the room, the window blinds were down on its own for privacy. Such small touches of service here and there really distinguishes their service from other hotels! Location is also great, very centrally located.

I liked our stay in the RuMa hotel. Interior was impeccable, comfortable beds and nice amenities made our stay very pleasant. Location of the hotel is beneficial as well, very close to Petronas towers, aquarium and Pavilion shopping center. The area itself is very nice and comfortable to walk around. In terms of improvement areas I would like to mention breakfast, we ordered eggs few times and they were a bit bland/undercooked. I stayed with mom, and we celebrated her 80s birthday in KL. In 5star hotels I stayed previously, I had a nice experience when there were congratulation cards from the hotel administration on such special dates. I believe future hotel guests would appreciate this small act of kindness and care.

Great service and food options in the restaurants and room service. Very clean and great amenities and an amazing pool.

Cleanliness was substandard considering the representation made about the additional care taken due to Covid. we found toothpaste on toilet door handle, fingerprints on toilet buttons and general cleanliness was average.

Amazing stay - the corner suite is gorgeous and set up wonderfully. Everything from the bed to the decor was thoughtfully executed and our short stay truly felt like coming home.

yes, is a 5 star hotel. Everything was in good shape, staff excellent, very helpful. Chef is Avant-garde, so ask how dishes will be presented. The food was consistently good.

This is just a beautiful property -- so unique and cool. great vibe. Loved the outdoor lounge are and the gym--- and the Librari for quick meeting and light food.
