Our room has a tiny bathroom. The toilet’s front only 4 inches from the wall. I had to use the public toilet because I can’t sit on the one in my room.

Banff Springs hotel is truly an amazing place. The building and surroundings are simply stunning. There are so many amenities, too. The room was very good, but the view was not because we had a "King Deluxe" which is not the top level even though we paid a whopping $1,148 per night (all-in with all those stupid hotel add-ons). Then every little thing costs 2x - 3x so be prepared for that as well. All of that said, the place is really special.

The air conditioner did not work very well even after I requested a service. It seemed the hotel set a temperature limit for each room. The guess cannot control in their room. It’s really not reasonable for a hotel in this level.

Our recent stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was nothing short of exceptional celebrating my 58th birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel's stunning location, nestled in the heart of Banff National Park. The "Castle in the Rockies" truly lives up to its name, offering a magical and luxurious experience. The hotel's location is absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by towering mountains and overlooking the beautiful Bow Valley, every view is like a postcard. We spent hours just soaking in the scenery, whether from our room, the lounge, or while exploring the nearby trails. Our room was huge a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The bed was plush, the linens luxurious, and the amenities were top-notch. We loved the small touches that made our stay even more comfortable, such as the in-room coffee maker and the cozy bathrobes. Our dining experience at the hotel were fantastic. We enjoyed a memorable dinner at one of the hotel's restaurants, where the food was exquisite, and the service impeccable. They offers a wide range of activities. We really appreciate the hotel's proximity to all outdoor activities. with hiking trails and stunning natural beauty just steps away. Our stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs was truly incredible. The combination of the hotel's historic grandeur, world-class service, and breathtaking location made for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to be back and would highly recommend this hotel

The 8th floor is hot claustrophobic people need to book under floor 6 to get a good sized room.

It’s magnificent and magical

This place is astonishing. It is majestic. We LOVED our stay. We just came from the Fairmont in Jasper which was horrible. The room was 90F and had no air conditioning, and management didn't seem to care at all. So we were thrilled to get to the Fairmont in Banff Springs and have air conditioning. Such simple pleasures :). The Fairmont Banff Springs was incredible. The staff and the housekeeping were exceptional. We enjoyed a mix of walking to town and taking the shuttle. The architecture is spectacular. The views from the room were stunning. How can I put into words how remarkable this place is? You have to experience it to understand. My wife loved it. And that's enough for me. I absolutely loved it too.

The room is insanely small. It is absolutely overated. Also the floor was designed with zero consideration of their customer. It has stairs in each floor. I have to carry my two huge suitcases upstairs. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL. trash as fk.

My family and I had an amazing time in Fairmont Banff Spring, we can highly recommend this place to our family and friends. The lounge in the fairmont Gold is amazing.

This hotel is world-class. I asked for a microwave in my room and it was delivered within five minutes. I blew a fuse in my room with said microwave and it was fixed within five minutes of me contacting the concierge. The restaurant at which I ate dinner (Waldhaus) was beautiful. The view from my room was magnificent. I had no problem with parking. The hotel was even walkable to the trail to go up Sulphur Mountain. Everything was absolutely world-class.

I travelled solo for some rest after medical treatments. I made the best decision by choosing this resort. I was greeted by the most wonderful employee Marissa who went out of her way to make me feel like VIP. I opted for the gold level and was not disappointed. The distinction between a great hotel and a really special one is in the smallest details. From the personalized welcome note, treats, staff engagement, subtle exclusive luxuries define my experience. The grounds are stunning, the complimentary activities were reminiscent of the type of retreat guests have grown accustomed to since its inception. It truly felt like a retreat. I also had a spa treatment and took advantage of hold/cold therapy. I cannot wait to go back.

This was my second time staying at the Banff Springs. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. This property is stellar in every way. The food, cocktails & comfort of the rooms is perfection. It was actually hard to leave the property to do other things because they have it all!

Just a weekend getaway from Montana to see the beautiful Banff Park. The hotel is definitely epic. An older property, but well maintained. The staff is very polite and friendly. It was an excellent stay. SO glad we made the trip and chose this hotel.

I believe your experience will not be the same if you dont stay at Fairmont Banff. The view from our room was worth it alone. Fantastic service. Easy walk or bus to town. Would recommend signing up for tours in advance. Better to join tours rather than renting a car and doing on your own. We also arranged a private tour which is a great option as well. Cant imagine any rating less than a 5!

Not 5 star. Too many bellhops. Non resident access overwhelming. Desk did not understand ALL program. Resturant waiter made a big deal of us bringing hotel bar purchased unfinished drink to the table so we were on time
