Very nice hotel in green residential neighborhood, but blocks away of one of the main business centers of Santiago near the Titanium tower. Excellent service.

It was nice to receive a voucher for 2 drinks in hotel restaurant at Friday evening during the check-in. Unfortunatelly the restaurant was already closed ant it is also closed during the weekends, so I could not use ithe voucher during our 2 nights weekend stay. All other things were OK - clean hotel, nice and spacy room, tasty breakfast, good position and also friendly staff. If they would not give me a voucher which I could not use, my overal impression would be better.

When I stayed here 6 years ago, this was a charming, unique property with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Now, the Rugendas has become”Holiday Inn Express” of Santiago, heartless, windowless and bland. I literally cried .

The hotel is located in a pretty cool and quiet area in Las Condes. The accomodation is essential but good, the price is cheaper compare to the other hotels in the neighborhood. The rooms are quit big. For me this is not really a 4 stars hotel, the gym is missing and the services are quite basic, but it's definitely a nice place to stay and good value for money. The hotel was under renovation during my visit.

Great area! Only problem was we were given a room where the a/c did not work. It was late and we wanted to go to dinner. It took forever to find us another room... Not happy about that! Breakfast was great, people were great! The a/c issue is my only complaint!

Good location, nice room. The parking is not in the same building, is 1 block away, not far, but not convinient. However, parking in Santiago is a nightmare, so this is better than no parking or paying 20 USD for parking.

at first the room is next to garden and the window of restroom cannot be closed. so some black bugs fly into. after changing the room, the environment is changing better. no slipper provided. the reception service is nice. it is very convenient because it is near subway station and shopping center.

Great location in Santiago. Easy to get to the Metro. Have stayed at the Rugendas several times over the past 10 years. The reason for the downgrade is the rooms needs to be updated and some needs to be repaired(shower head in one room the last time was filled with calcium & the shower curtain was torn)

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. It had some low details like the hair dryer in my room didnt work, breakfast was quite poor and when I needed a travel adaptor for my laptop it was really an issue to get one. But the worse part is that they extra charged me to check in early (at 12 instead of 2pm), and despite that I had to wait 30 minutes for my room to be ready. Really, really shamefull.
