When we booked the room, it said that it had Hot Tub, parking and other aminities..
But to our surprise, we were charged on top of the booking a charge of 15 $ a day for the use of hot-tub, parking and others...
We had one breakfest at the Bistro of the Hotel... very expensive...

We were only here for one night so can't give much of a review from experiencing the hotel as a whole, but the room was lovely and clean. Amenities in the room are excellent and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again

Great location and nice room overlooking the town and mountains.
The room however was loud all night long. Could hear the neighbours and the floors below pretty clearly.

Wonderful mid century modern hotel in excellent condition with excellent on site restaurant. Super staff. Just GREAT!

Could not beat the boutique vibes and spectacular views of the place! Lovely staff and perfect location for a romantic getaway. Right off the highway, free parking and very close to double Banff while staying away from the mad crowds!

I had a wonderful stay at the Juniper Hotel in Banff. The location offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife, providing a peaceful retreat while still being close to town.
The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-appointed, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hot tub was also lovely, offering a great way to unwind with a view. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I appreciated the easy access to nearby trails and the hotel’s bike rentals.
Overall, it’s a charming and comfortable place to stay in Banff!

Friendly helpful staff. The luxury car driver was wonderful and right on time. The room was nice with a great view of the mountain. Kind of noisy at times. Close to downtown banff

Everything about our stay at the Juniper exceeded our expectations. The location into downtown was excellent because you’re off the beaten path just the right amount. Loved the bikes, they are top notch and there are so many amazing places to bike to nearby.
The restaurant—wow, amazing. The food and drinks are next level.
The staff is absolutely fantastic. They are so kind, professional and friendly/fun. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Banff. One of my all time favorite vacations!

Amazing property!! Loved it all

The Juniper Hotel was really a delight. It is located across the highway from Banff town, but they offer their own shuttle, so if you prefer not to drive into town, their shuttle is very convenient. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, and if you are lucky enough to get a room facing Banff, the view is to die for. I actually had a knee injury that prevented me from going on a lot of the outings we had planned and had to stay in the room with my leg elevated. Having that view, as well as the kindness of the staff in finding me extra blankets, made my days alone in the room bearable. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Banff, and we will stay here again when we return!

We loved the comfy bed and the view from the hot tub! We were able to walk to downtown Banff in about 15 minutes and saw some cool wildlife on the way there.

Far from downtown, shuttle was nice. Bar was shutdown mid afternoon
Good if you want a quiet stay overall, priced high for what you get.

We stayed for 2 nights, and loved this Hotel. It was perfect for us. Just outside of Banff, but easy enough to walk to town. A smaller hotel, clean, comfy, and classy. Staff were all super friendly. Bistro restaurant was top notch. Jeremy our server went above and beyond.

Away from busy downtown but close enough for a short free shuttle

Definitely a not worth paying $600 per night. Body wash was empty, deck was dirty and old dilapidated chairs . Tiny bathroom.

Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. No elevator, so if you have big and heavy luggage, you'll need help from staff. Biggest negative was breakfast didn't start until 8am, which is when most of the Banff tours pick folks up, don't understand why they wouldn't start at 7am at least. No microwave in room but was able to take items to front desk to heat up for you. No ice machine either, so you'd have to get a small bag from the front desk that they get from the restaurant. Hot tub wasn't very hot and on a silly 5-minute timer. Ground around hotel pretty and had a nice view of the mountains on either side.

First floor balcony view is amazing

We feel it needs an upgrade: carpets, bathroom facilities, a better hot tub, more restaurants. Still, it was comfortable, but not worth the price.

It was a decent location from downtown with some scenic views. There were common amenities, expected such as bath tub outisde room and safe in the room, which wasnt there. Also expected my standard room to have some views

Room was nice and clean. The beds in our room weee not comfortable, to hard/firm, which some may prefer. Everyone was very nice, helpful, and accommodating. The shuttle car service was nice! Harry the driver was great!!

Just off the highway, great spot for couples wanting a secluded view of the mountains. Restaurant was a bit pricey for my liking but had great verity and high-end taste.

This was a lovely spot with a fantastic view of the mountains and Banff. Comfortable rooms with outdoor seating, perfect for morning coffee or an evening beverage of choice. Thanks for a great stay.

The view from our room was breathtaking! We loved renting the bikes to ride all over town and to the Cave and Basin along with the Bow River falls. Staff were super kind and positive people. The soaps smell great! The music is nice in the lobby.

I was very disappointed with the hotel. The location is quite beautiful however the rooms feel like a run down motel (dated, and old / beds were very uncomfortable, bathroom was extremely tiny and bathtub was stained) and I was paying almost $900 a night. I would have expected nicer rooms, better beds and amenities. The staff also decided to give me a parking lot view over the mountain view which of course was extremely disappointing. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. I’m sure you can find better value in Banff.

Really nice mountain view but the hotel is really old, lacks of maintenance (bath tubs and toilet are full of stains), door lock is somehow broken, carpet is dirty, refrigerator is not cold at all. The hot tub in the picture is quite misleading, it can only serve max 4 people for the entire hotel. There is only 1 EV charger (J1772) spot. While the worst is their restaurant, foods are not well cooked.

We had a King Mountain View room. The view looking out is fabulous. The view looking down is a noisy highway. They also did not have blackout shades - so a lot of light came in. The rooms have a small balcony that is useful when standing, but the rail doesn't allow you to sit and look out as there are panels in the way. They have a shuttle (car with 4 seats available) to the downtown area which is nice. You have to schedule what time you want to return to the hotel, and those slots fill quickly. The rooms are dated (carpet needs changed, curtains are falling off their hooks, TVs are from the prior decade), lighting is horrible in the rooms with two bedside lamps that don't provide much light, and the bathrooms are quite small. Our linens had spots on them; however, they were replaced when I pointed them out. On the plus side: the staff was pleasant, the rooms had AC for those hot days, in room french press coffee, and they offered bear spray to "rent" (if you use it, there is a charge, if not it is free - we didn't see any bears).

We stayed at the Juniper for our first visit to Canada from Texas. We loved the fact that it was secluded and away from the very large crowds in Banff. Which was only a quick 1 mile walk. Or you can take the hotel shuttle for a quick drive for free. The restaurant has the best views of the mountains and even better food. The rooms were nice and cozy and the staff we encountered were all so very friendly and welcoming. There was a hot tub but we never used it as it was unseasonably hot during our stay. I would have preferred a nice cool pool tbh. I would recommend the juniper to anyone considering a visit to banff who would like to avoid crowds.

Juniper was a great choice for the location, cleanliness, amazing staff, convenient shuttle and overall appearance. I would visit again if I returned to Banff.

Only stayed a night and did not eat either dinner or breakfast so can only give a limited review. However, service at the desk was good, and although they booked the wrong shittle for us it was quickly rectified. Shittle into town was in a car, and was very efficient. Need to book for bisy times though as space is obviously limited. Hotel was smart, clean, and quiet with plenty parking
