Was there for an emergency operation. Unexpected trip. Stayed one night at another hotel close to the hospital. It wasn’t good! Having stayed at Riverland a few times before and having actually stayed in an accessible suite the last time I was there, I knew that returning there was my best option. A couple of minutes further from the hospital than the first place. Easy to get into room considering I was in crutches with use of only one leg. Close to front desk and breakfast.
Another great experience - minus the medical situation.
They were super accommodating as I had rented two rooms. They made sure they were one next to the other so my friend/driver and her daughter could stay close to me. They allowed them access while I was in the operating room so they could go wait even though I was not there to officially check in. Thank you so much! Once again, this sweet little motel was perfect for what I needed. I will continue to stay there every time I come to Kamloops!!!

The exterior of the motel is a little rundown and the area is not the greatest, but our room was renovated and was clean and comfortable.

It was nice to get an upgrade to a larger room. The scenery is excellent. Although we were very busy, it would be a nice relaxing place with many seats and a patio to view the river. The room was clean, and the staff was pleasant. The only downside was that the breakfast area was small and crowded.

The room was clean and the staff was very kind. The hot tub and pool were green and milky and the tiles and surrounding area of the pool and hot tub didn't look or feel clean.

Everything was wonderful. Could have used a few more channels on the TV.
It was the breakfast that wasn’t great. Not enough appliances, like the toaster. There was a lineup with almost 8 people waiting to use 1 toaster. By the time you got to the toaster your cereal was soggy. Things were running out. Including cutlery. It would have been nice to have muffins and a better selection of fruit other than oranges and apples. Would have been nice to have yogurt.

My expectations of what $166 for the night did not match what we had. The first room was unspeakable. The second room, which the employee graciously gave us after I spoke with them, was ok but also did not match the amount we paid. We have stayed at other chain hotels for less, guess we should have done that in this case. Pictures, description and quality did not match the website.

The bed was clean and comfy and the room wasn't stuffy. The walls in and around the entrance to the suite could be wiped down. There were dirty finger marks on the wall. The bath towels were very stained.

A great but simple hotel for travellers. It’s surprisingly quiet beside route 5 but we did find the rumble of trucks could be felt in our room. The river view is nice and relaxing.

We stayed here as a stop on a road trip. Wasn’t expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. Absolutely first class service from the receptionist. Room was large and clean and well stocked with all you need. Lovely garden and views over the river.

Bugs in the room. Food left in the fridge. Carpets were stained. Shower didnt work. Garbage under beds and desk. Pool and hot tub were green and terrible. Id rather swim in an algea infested swamp. Never again will i stsy tgere with my family.

Room was clean-ish, there were hairs in the bathroom and crumbs on the counter. It was fairly quiet and easy to get to, however we could hear people stomping above us. The property next door used to be a restaurant, however now it is an empty lot full of broken glass and garbage. The parking lot is a nightmare for big pickups, however there is an empty graveled lot on the side of the motel for bigger vehicles. Aside from those issues, we would definitely stay there again, maybe cut some trees so people on the ground floor can see the river? :)

We rented the 3 bed hotel room for a night. Upon arrival there was no parking so we had to leave our vehicles in the overflow parking lot that had tree branch debris lying around. In the bathroom of the room there were urine drips on the inside of the toilet seat and around the rim of the toilet. Definitely didnt feel clean.
