We loved the area. The location to Mt. Rushmore and other area attractions was perfect. The room was wonderful, the view amazing (especially being able to see Mt. Rushmore from our room), and the solitude of the area with wildlife was above what we expected. Staff members were polite, helpful, and courteous. We would definitely return.

Quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed the patio and the cool mountain air and views. The fire pit was a delightful surprise.

We met people around the fire pit. Saw deer eating by moonlight on the lawn. Close to sites in the area.

Plenty of restaurant seating, indoor and out!

Beautiful property, very clean, friendly staff, great location away from the hustle and bustle of Keystone, yet just a 2-minute drive down to Keystone. Breakfast was good, not great, I guess I expected a little more - it was comparable to what you'd get at a typical hotel chain. The restaurant was very good - wish we would have eaten there more than one night. We loved the little hike around the property, with the little bridge and the deer we saw every day. The hot tub was an amazing way to end the day, with a view of Mount Rushmore in the distance, especially after dark with it lit up. It was very quiet - not the typical hotel where you can hear people above you walking or out in the hallways. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

We enjoyed our stay completely! The lodge provided a very pleasant atmosphere and environment for our stay at Mt Rushmore and surroundings!
