An oasis in the middle of the city. Staff are superb, service is flawless. The hotel was magnificent.

Lovely property but the location is not convenient if you are not fit: a lot of stairs to climb to arrive at the property coming from the beach or the restaurants; it is a very well maintain property, the rooms are clean and the bed is confortable: it is in a quiet area but we had a room (Katarina Suite) where we could hear the very noisy restaurant on the property (the Iguana, where we has a very disappointing diner with an overcooked fish...)....and there is no blackout curtains... so very short nights for us.... the room is called a suite but is just a room, pretty spacious, with a nice terrace: no separate loo ( in the shower room) and no double sink; very nice jacuzzi tub but we did not used it; the room doesn't have any coffee or kettle in it: I asked if we could get one and they said they did not have any...

The property is beautiful. The housekeeping staff is awesome. The restaurant staff are not very attentive. Dinner menu is limited and expensive. Had to get up from the table to order a second drink and the nightly noise from the restaurant and constant photo taking by dinner guests is annoying. the waiters tip themselves on your bill automatically so they don't care. The concierge actually watched me as I had to haul my luggage down the steps to cab. Actually, had to ask him to open the hotel door with my luggage in my hand. Service is limited and not what I would expect for the price. Nice for one or 2 nights but maybe no longer.

This was by far the most beautiful place I have stayed (anywhere). The rooms had incredible views, the bed was divine and it was world class service for every single detail. The staff went above and beyond to provide an unforgettable experience. If you want an exceptional place to stay while you’re in Vallarta, this is the spot.

We found two lizard behind our bed. It took almost an hour to get them out. What a waste of vacation time.

Top notch service and excellent food, property is beautiful

The property itself is gorgeous. The first night, we ate at the iguana and I think our table got a little too loud and upset the staff. The food was ok but more of an art than anything. The next three days of our stay, the entire staff was not kind whatsoever. If you have a group that might have a little more fun than others, I would avoid this place. The manager also decided to tell me how terrible we were at the end while the other staff members laughed in our face.

Felt like true luxury…beautiful architecture and fixturing. Highest quality linens. Lots of attention from the friendly and helpful staff. Amazing view from our suite. Unique pool. All day room service from the restaurant with very nice food and the best margaritas in PV.

This is a beautiful hotel that was once Liz Taylor & Richard Burton's home. We stayed in the Richard Burton suite. It had a balcony and a huge bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Didn't care for the continental free breakfast but everything else was amazing.

Our two week stay at Casa Kimberley was absolutely perfect. The views from our terrace were spectacular, the room was lovely and the service was second to none. The location just up the hill from the ocean was ideal for walking around, discovering great restaurants and shops, and enjoying the historic town. It’s a 10 minute walk from all the tourist action and nightlife. The hotel is beautifully maintained and it was a pleasure to come back in every evening. We will definitely come back.

We had the most fabulous stay at Casa Kimberley! We were only there for one evening but the team there made it so special for us. The room was spectacular and decorated so glamorously. We wanted to spend as much time as possible in it. The pool, which was right across the famous bridge was very charming and added to the old Hollywood fantasy. We opted for the tequila tasting before dinner and it was very interesting and informative. To end the night off, we chose to dine at the restaurant there and it exceeded our expectations since we had a delicious and romantic meal. Certainly one of the best meals in PV. It was such a delight to stay in such a beautiful hotel and be treated so well by the staff. I would absolutely recommend a stay here if you are looking for something unique and romantic. Can’t say enough good things about this property!

Casa Kimberly is ironic and gorgeous, the staff there are absolutely fantastic!

We stayed in the V.I.P.s Suite, on the highest floor of the hotel. It was nothing short of spectacular, with a wrap-around terrace featuring a jacuzzi and multiple sitting areas, a beautiful bed and other antique furnishings, and breathtaking views of the city, mountains, and ocean. The hotel itself was immaculate and elegant, with warm and personalized service. This is a property truly befitting the legacy of the real VIPs who used to live here. If you want to be pampered--or if you just want a taste of old Hollywood glamor and luxury, not to mention colonial Mexican charm and romance--this is the place to do it.

This was an amazing, 9 room boutique hotel. The history of the place is interesting. Richard Burton bought the house for Elizabeth Taylor. He owned a casita across the street and a bridge was built to connect the houses and each other. (Quite romantic) Today the hotel includes both structures as well as a first class restaurant. The decor throughout is elegant and beautiful. (If you like contemporary grays and bland decors go elsewhere.) Each room can be very different from another. Choose carefully to get what you want. We had a fabulous balcony that looked out over the ocean, the river through town, and a hillside of the city (gorgeous with lights at night). Not all rooms have that view yet at the public space in the pool lounge area everyone could enjoy that view. The hotel is up a few blocks of cobbled streets from the ocean if mobility is an issue for you but Puerto Vallarta has plentiful and affordable taxi services. This hotel was a special treat!

Truly a great location for exploring and enjoying the historic center of Puerto Vallarta. We really loved the spa offerings (had the best massage in my life!) and the restaurant on site. Breakfast in the room was also great!

Casa Kimberly is truly a dream hotel property. It has so much character and history, yet is tastefully decorated and updated for the utmost comfort for guests and restaurant visitors. The bed was quite honestly the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. The staff was attentive and extremely welcoming. We loved the Iguana restaurant which occupies a beautiful location in the hotel. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

From the time we walked in the door to the time we left, we could not have asked for anything better! The service in the room was better than better :)) The food at Iguana (the restaurant was 5 STAR, and the quality of the bed was amazing! We will for sure stay here everytime we come to PV!

Movie star worthy stay. The dinner with mariachi was excellent. Try the pumpkin soup (lobster pieces in it)..reminds me of lobster bisque! Best soup ever. Staff is very nice. 5 stars!!

The hotel is amazing for a nice getaway with the wife or girlfriend . The Elizabeth Taylor suite is awesome to stay in .

Incredible hotel. Couldn’t have asked for more. The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Should we make it back to PV we will certainly stay again.

The property is unique because it was a house of Richard Burton and Elisabeth Taylor but the staff is not polite and the bedroom didn’t have blackout curtains. It is noisy because of the music in the restaurant.

Brilliant Hotel, fantastic rooms. Super friendly staff. Iguana restaurant is outstanding. The staff here will go to any length to ensure the perfect stay. The concierge here is first class (Joseph) Highly Recommended.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday here and lapped up the luxury surroundings and personal attention from the concierges. She took advantage of the on-site spa and the concierge organized taxis and sightseeing for us. Our room was large and comfortable and because the hotel doesn't have many rooms we enjoyed spaces like the lobby and the poolside almost to ourselves a lot of the time. The Iguana restaurant is excellent and draws a lot of people so the hotel is lively in the evenings, which we liked. There was also a good Sunday brunch. The house is large and uncluttered.
