Reception staff were friendly but hotel room was very disappointing. Marks all over the walls with dirty fingerprints indicate poor cleaning standards. Condensation issues meant you couldn’t see out of the window. Not a great overall impression at all - hotel seems to be in need of investment and improvement. Location was great but would not return.

Overall good. Curtains need changing as humidity is visible with a naked eye . Room needs refurbishment as condensation/mould is creeping in. But the Staff were amazing and the room had enough space.

Hard mattress, too smaller bed for 2 people no window (was aware of this at time of booking) too claustrophobic & hot.

Brilliant budget hotel. It has everything you need for a night in the city.
Clean comfy bed, great shower, friendly staff - what more do you need?
Just remember to pick up your tea or coffee in the lobby before you head upstairs. No kettles in the room.

Great value and in an excellent location for exploring the city centre. Clean and ideal for a couple of nights stay.

One night stay after the Liverpool match. Well looked after at 9am on the day of the stay. Stored case for me and enabled me to pay before checking in. Please is just tired, lifts not working etc. Room was comfortable but for example two lights not working in the bathroom and an unrepaired damaged wall by the bed. Would stay again

The room was amazing room 122.Comfy bed a little bit high off the floor though.Room was lovely and Warm,toilet was nice with toiletries the shower old but good power.Tv not working but lots of lovely mirrors lamp on bedside and hairdryer too.No Kettle with teas/coffees and biscuits and No bin. The Person on Reception Luc Didnt tell us It was a Maze to get to Our room and A Block and B Block the Signs very Misleading and Up and Downstairs.

Great location for centre of Liverpool, basic room.only complaint is no kettle to make a brew in morning, but there is a greggs next door.Nice bed ,nice big towels.Curtains were ripped but overall nice little place.Bonus tou get discounted parking at Ncp carpark through hotel.

The location of the hotel was excellent , the staff were friendly and professional. However, the hotel itself was not in good condition, the public areas were grubby, the paint was peeling off the walls in the room and the room itself was not very clean.

Room was dark and most things broken ? Safe broken - Toilet seat broken - sink tap not fixed to sink - unable to open the curtain in the room 004 hotel B - if you did you’d be sitting in a patio of the pub attached noise level didn’t stop till gone 3 — so as it was light we got up and left

The first room was in a poor state. The toilet door was broken and would not close. The door handle fell off when I first touched it.
When I reported it at reception, we were given a new room, which at least didn’t have anything broken.
But a frosted glass door to the bathroom is crazy.
The positive for the hotel is its excellent location.

As basic as you can possibly get. Room was clean and basic. To get to the room you had to navigate through corridors, through big rooms, up several flights of stairs….a complete maze of a place!!! Location is perfect though

Room smelled of cigarette smoke. External door and lock were partly broken. Bathroom door doesn’t shut. Windows don’t open. Room was cold with no working heating. Prices were high as there was a conference in town.

Small windowless room, but I knew that when booking. Perfect for a solo traveller who only wants the room to sleep in. Excellent location, good value for money

Property is tied, common areas are dull and dreary. The aircon unit is the room was very noisy even when switched off.

Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Location was perfect and the price was adequate for what we got. The room was cold and we had a view on a fan on the roof, and it was quite noisy. However we only paid around £30 for the room so it was expected. The perfect stay for what we paid.

Good Reception Team. Clean. Good WiFi.
Bit of peripheral noise from a Hippo’ upstairs but generally quiet. I’d like drink making facilities in the room but it’s not a deal breaker.
Much better than pods and a place nearby.
Location for trains and CBD is good and if it’s your thing there’s a Greggs next door!

We started six nights, the room was cleaned once during our stay. The bed mattress could have used more padding, you could feel the springs under your back. The room was tidy, though and the hotel has a very central location close to city attractions. Friendly staff, easy check in and check out.
