Facilities are nice, personal are exelent; unfortunately the logistic to hadle the all inclusive is terrible. I needed to sign the bill every time I take a dinner or a drink, one time I forgot to sign it and the server when to my room, wake me up just to sign the damm bill, the whole process makes me feel very unconformable every time. Although I gave tips everywhere the hotel try to collect a tip for a dinner I took that was not included. Although the dancers where nice the show was located in very depress room. I only when once. Fortunately I travel with my Roku so I could see movies otherwise I would be very bore. By the way The SPA is very expensive $175 dls for 50 min.

I did not appreciate the fact that they didn’t respect my decision of not doing the presentation for the time sharing. They kept insisting and it got pretty annoying. No means no! The food was mediocre, the wi-fi was terrible, and there was nothing special about this hotel. No worth the money, not going back.

We had to switch rooms three times before we found a room like any pictures on their website. They put you in private owned rooms that have food in pantry and personal stuff in rooms. The first room had a worn out mattress. They have gone downhill since last time we visited. They told us if you book through a third party it’s like booking an Air BNB. Well….thats not the pics on third party websites? Tread lightly

This property is meticulously taken care of but lacks service competency. Jaime our concierge was very helpful but outside of him service was lacking. Not sure this property should be listed as VIP access as we didn’t recieve any of the perks. When checking in we were told it was very slow on property(which we prefer). We were never offered an upgrade. When I asked about it they said we don’t do complementary upgrades except for a certain price.. We mentioned being platinum members but it didn't matter. Alot of us book VIP access not because of the perks but because of the quality we normally have. This property is beautiful, food is ok but honestly not worth it. Probably better off next door at Flamingo since they seem to be much more of a "resort". One last thing...Upon check out we were charged gratuities on top of everything(We tipped heavily along the way). This was a little decietful but since our stay was short it wasn't a big deal. This could be an issue for some since it doesn’t mention it anywhere until you check out!

Amazing. Best food we’ve ever had at an all inclusive. Service from Jesus, Daniel, Ernesto at the pool- top notch. VIP Polo was awesome to have. Very calm and quiet resort. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We will be back.

We loved our time at villa la estancia, de property is beautiful and the service is top top. From the reception staff to the pool services, house keeping, kids club, wait staff every one made our stay magical!

My family and I enjoyed Villa La estancia very much. But, unfortunately there was an issue with our booking. Once we arrived to the hotel we where told that we had no reservation. The only reservation they had for us on file was back in May for one night when I initially booked the trip. Just for one night! This made absolutely no sense since we had no problem with our flights as it was all booked as a package. Dealing with this issue in a very hot, humid and beyond stressful environment with two very tired kids and told that they might not have rooms available was more than a nightmare. As a VERY loyal costumer Expedia, I feel let down. That was very upsetting. Other than that inconvenience our stay at Villa La Estancia turned out to be amazing.

This property only had 2 restarants steak house and out side grill, the steak house food was good but the place was burning up no A/C. No enterainment, the place was sleep by 10pm. However, the property would be geat for R&R if I was 75 years old. We had access to the property next door with a good Mexican restarant and a horrible japanesse restarant. their 2 outside grills had very poor customer service.The pool water was brown and nasty, I didn't see them clean the pool on property 2 at all. This was the worst all inclusive hotel I ever stated in, i've been doing this for 30 years. The claim to have a kidd pool, but that was not on either property. La Villa Estanica is like staying in a regular 5 star hotel. They make you sign for all food and drinks with the crazy prices that they come up with for everything, example, 3 top shelf drinks would ring up $57.00 US. Thank God I had and All Inclusive. All of our dinner meals were $200.00 plus US dollar for 2 people. No american TV, unless you import your own accounts.

Jesus and Daniel at the pool really helped made our stay more enjoyable.Jesus was always working hard. David Luna at the pool bar was great. Always happy to see you and made great drinks. Overall the people that work at the hotel were what made our stay better.

The food was mediocre, majority of the staff acted bothered. There was a crocodile in the ocean with no warnings. They did have a purple flag on the beach, but no warning about possible crocodiles in the water.

It was all great. Unfortunately while we were there they had some maintenance issues. Air conditioning in the main restaurant was lacking and our door dis not open for 3 days. Keys were not working for the personnel so our room was not cleaned one day and almost missed another day. Other than that the hotel is beautiful, personnel are very kind and try to go out of their way to help. For example Hugo from the restaurant brought two fans to point to our table to make us comfortable. The food at La Casona is exceptional. Eduardo the waiter also sings during dinner and has a beautiful tenor voice. We had a great time and I would come back.

We loved our time at Villa La Estancia! The resort was beautiful, very well maintained, and the staff was exceptional. We enjoyed that there were two resorts with different attractions, offering variety. We prefer a quieter, calmer place which is exactly what La Estancia offered, but we still had access to the more active and popular Flamingo. It was great! The dining options were good and there was never a long wait, the beach access was good, we were always able to find an available pool or beach chair, service was always good, and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. We will be back!
