My family LOVED our vacation at this beautiful Villa. More amenities than any hotel, we enjoyed the pool, outside dining at the charcoal grille, and many special areas inside and out. We were right in the middle of the island, making it easy to enjoy the resort style beaches at the southern end and the romantic rugged coast in the north. Dimitrios, the host, was very friendly and super helpful, recommending great places to try, especially his uncle's taverna at the Korakonissi Peninsula, one of the most beautiful places on earth - go there for an afternoon swim and to eat souvlaki as the sun paints the sky...

Overall we had a very memorable stay. It takes some adjusting at first if you are not accustom to driving in the mountains or abroad but the house was very spacious and well kept. Any issues we had at first were handled by the owner promptly. Once we settled in, it was so nice to come back to the peaceful villa after a day of excursions. My children loved the fact that there were cats on the property and spent a good amount of time playing with them. The owners prepared a lovely meal For us on our last night. I would recommend this property to larger families and people that enjoy nature and a rural setting. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the check in process and location is because it was a little hectic figuring out how to get to the house and you will need to drive out of the village to get to a grocery or pharmacy. They are not too far away, it just takes a day or 2 to get acclimated to the surroundings then it’s easy!

Amazing holiday in a very nice villa. The property is very well maintained. The view from the pool is beautiful. Several cats live on the estate. That was no problem for us. The hosts are very nice and helpful.

Everything was perfect : the main villa and the annex are wonderful, with a very nice decoration. The garden is full of flowers and fruit trees ; they invite you to relaxation and naps. The swimming pool is ideal after an all-day journey through this island. And ABOVE all, the guests are SO kind : they provided us with lots of advice ; and we enjoyed taking time talking with them. All that, coupled with a nice situation in the island, makes me say : Go to this stone villa !!! ; no hesitation, you will have GREAT moments.

As we arrived late in the evening from the airport, we met owner, Anastasia in the local village. She was very welcoming and that was echoed when we arrived at the villa. Wow...a large, well laid out property. We were group of 4 friends, but we see it being a great space for families as well. Anastasia and Dionisis were very welcoming and communicative if we needed them ( we didn't much). They kindly made us a coffee and fruit on our first morning because we'd arrived late at night and hadn't yet gone shopping. They also cooked us a delicious Greek meal on our 2nd night...such a lovely touch. The bedrooms were well furnished and roomly. The kitchen and living areas are well stocked with the necessary appliances. With great weather we spent most days relaxing around the lovely pool, and in the well maintained outside area. You will need a car, but the island is very much worth a drive around. The villas charm is increased by it being located in the countryside, a 15 minute walk to the local village (limited amenities). There are cats and dogs, very friendly and well looked after, however may be a concern if you're not an animal person. We on the otherhand got very attached to them. Would recommend to others.

We also really appreciated the many stylistic features of the house. In addition Dionisis, Anastassia and Niki were incredibly hospitable, and made us feel extremely welcome. Highly highly recommended.

Overall the house was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Our stay was made even more enjoyable by our very gracious hosts. Great entertaining and poolside areas. The only downside was the number of cats on the property. They were everywhere and were quite a nuisance at times, especially since two people in our party had allergies. Dionysus and his wife were truly wonderful, helpful hosts who were very responsive to our needs. I would definitely recommend the place to friends if they can do something about the cats.

There are three large bedrooms in the main house, one on the top floor with lovely view over the hills. The bathrooms are all clean and well maintained. The kitchen is also large and well equipped. What we loved most is the large selection of social places in and around the house. The lounge inside the house is huge but there are numerous outdoor seating areas too, a great little cocktail terrace, upstairs and downstairs dining areas as well as another outdoor dining area at the small house. The small house is very cute, with it's own kitchen and terrace. The pool is big and very clean, with separate paddling pool for the kids. We loved that there are steps leading into the main pool so its safer for the little ones. We couldnt have wished for better hosts than Dionisos and Anastassia. They were always very helpful and accommodating and the dinners that they prepared for us are now legendary in our families. They let us help harvesting grapes, that this kids loved and always had good advice when we needed it. The whole place is very kids friendly and safe, our kids had a lot of fun running around and discovering the huge garden, playing with the three friendly cats and playing hide and seek in the big house. The location of the house would suit anyone wanting a local family holiday far from the noisy seaside strips but still central to be able to get to beaches and restaurants quickly.

The family - Dionisis, Anastasia and Niki soon became friends, nothing was too much trouble - Niki even came to the airport when we arrived and departed to help transport our luggage. Their kindness and generosity made our stay even more pleasurable, and we joined them for an amazing Moussaka ( made by Dionisis ) and Greek music and dancing ! We cannot praise the villa and our hosts enough - superb 10/10 !!
