The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable.
Security, simple amenities such as a few small bottles of water, honest advertising of location and population

The door into the room didn't seal all the way, so light and sound came through.
There was not a tub, and because I booked through booking.com, we couldn't change the room.
There wasn't a clock in the room at all!
Seemed like there was one employee for the entire hotel.

Kind sheets & pillow cases on bed were not clean , shower does not drain properly, A/C unit in room wouldn’t stay on and Television is very static.

We were not able to stay at the facility after booing because the room was full of MOLD and it was a MAJOR health hazard. This facility needs reported to a government agency for an inspection.

Most of everything, the only disappointment was due to the early check in additional fee.
No traveler has control on itineraries for flights or train(which arrives in Kansas City at 6 AM)
Amtrak booking service has way much deficiencies, been the user who pays for those.
Waiver of the early check in fee in specific conditions, like travelers not driving, it leaves parking area more available for those who travel by car

The tv in the room didn’t work, no microwave and no fridge. When my husband informed staff about everything they informed us we would have to talk to the manager then next morning. when checking out the front desk guy informed us we would get 10% back due to the tv not working, they in fact charged my husbands card 10% and another 2.50 charger after. We speak with the manager he’s a business man and tells you what you want to hear told me a bunch of bs and that he would call me by noon with a resolution. We leave go have breakfast ANOTHER charge this time for the price of the room. so now over 300+ dollars just completely lost. we go back talk with him and have booking.com rep on the phone as well and the rep in fact told him that they charged my husbands acct AGAIN! the manager will make you feel like the idiot but he is literally the crooked of the crooks! This is the absolute worst experience that I’ve had. HORRIBLE!

There wasn’t a positive thing about the experience.
The rooms were poorly renovated. The shower was Luke warm. There was a joke of a breakfast. Parking was difficult. The location was noisy. The Wi-Fi was awful.

The location is under construction/renovation. We checked in after 5pm and had to call the front desk immediately after checking in to be advised that our TV had no signal due to a cable outage. The TV did not have a signal the entire stay. Our room had no refrigerator, just a hole where it would be. Our room had no smoke detector and the thermostat/heating and cooling was not operational during our stay. The water pressure was a major issue and the reason that I requested some type of discount on my daily rate but was advised the property’s limitations on discounting my contract since it was through a third party. I will start booking my stays directly with the property to ensure this never happens again to cost me more than my money.

Hotel did not look like the photos, window did not have a screen or lock, bars of soap were stuck in the air conditioner for freshener, hotel room door had a gap big enough to let large amount of light in, elevator was scary and the safety inspection was expired.
