Somewhat high price for a motel, but it is very clean and comfortable.

the room was well-appointed and very clean. although the Inn is located on a busy street, the room was quiet & no traffic noise. the bed was so comfortable that I had a great night’s sleep. definitely will stay here again.

Luke warm shower and clogging toilet. Room was clean, but the property was dirty. Definitely could use a power wash on the stairs and floors outside.

Tile floor so dirty that made feet black. Desk clerk just said it was hard to keep up.

Love this motel, a lot of improvements have happened since we got married and everyone stayed here 10 years ago! Their breakfast options have definitely improved.

The hot tub could be bigger/use a face lift but we had it to ourselves so it was never really an issue! I just imagine in summer months when more visitors are there it'd be crowded by even a third person in the tub.

Pros: Older, 2 story motel that has been decently remodeled. Staff very nice, breakfast pretty standard, mostly cold items. Fairly quiet room, but motel is in a busy location so Mission St can be noisy. Room was clean, had a safe, a large tv, roomy bathroom. Reasonable price for Santa Cruz, walking distance to some restaurants.

Cons: Toilet and sink drain in rm 133 were VERY slow, sometimes requiring 2/3 flushes. Water built up in sink as well. Only one reading light by bed, other person is in the dark. If your room faces the restaurant VIM, then there is noise. One morning a truck was pumping the grease trap, the next morning loud food delivery trucks were there, but not terribly early (9-ish). Room windows open to a central courtyard and can be noisy i.e kids playing, baby crying at 8am. Perhaps rooms at the very back are more quiet but this was our experience. FYI-no elevator.

I am so happy about choosing Mission Inn. The room was very clean & comfortable. I really appreciated the excellent housekeeping. I will stay at Mission Inn anytime I'm in Santa Cruz.

The price was confusing. Booked with booking.com & person at the desk at the hotel couldn't give me a receipt. I asked her what were charges she quoted higher prices than was told & I would had to check with booking.com. The continental breakfast was no good. The milk for cereal was warm & the muffins were stale. Other than that, the visit was fabulous!
