Conference venue with guest accommodation
Palm Beach Lodge wurde um 1991 ursprünglich als Tagungsort mit Gästeunterkunft gebaut. Es ist ein Komplex von vier geräumig, sehr komfortabel Apartments im mediterranen Stil, die jeweils ein ganzes Stockwerk der Lodge zu besetzen. Eines ist ein 4-Zimmer-Wohnung und zwei sind ein 2-Zimmer-Apartments. Das Gebäude liegt auf einem Hügel im Zentrum des schönen Palm Beach an der warmen Nordküste. Von fast jedem einzelnen Raum des gesamten Gebäudes aus haben Sie einen Blick auf den Kleiderkreis!
Little Barrier Island ist am Horizont sichtbar, die Inseln der "Noises" und "Tiri Tiri Matangi" sind auf der linken Seite, Nani Island auf der rechten Seite und im Vordergrund ist Palm Beach einladend nah am Meeresrauschen, das allgegenwärtig ist.
Der Zick-Zack-Pfad schlängelt sich durch den üppigen, subtropischen Garten zur Straße hinunter und dann zum Sandstrand - einem All-Gezeiten-, sicheren Badestrand. Der Weg zum Ufer dauert insgesamt etwa drei Minuten.
Palm Beach Lodge kann als eine nach der Hochzeit Grill Veranstaltungsort gemietet werden. 60 Personen maximal. Bitte bewerben.

Wonderful situation. Cleanliness level not the highest eg dead insects behind pulled blinds, grime on arms of cane furniture. Oven failed. Screens needed for some windows for mosquitoes were a serious problem. One bedroom door would not shut so had to be locked. See attachment which have gone to the host

The setting is spectacular and could be wonderful. But the property is very badly in need of renovation and care: Broken/ missing door handles, overflowing and smelly septic tank, blood on the sheets, missing keys, flooding washer, bathroom tap that didn’t work, blind fell down due to improper fitting. Richard and Sharonagh were responsive to our complaints—I think they may just be overwhelmed by all the repairs that should be done.

We loved our stay. Richard, our host, was amazing to work with and delightful on meeting him. The spaces are stunning, location sublime and views out of this world. The beds super comfy and everything we needed was there. It is old and tired, with a couple of things needing repair but didn't bother us in the slightest.

Great property for our party of 14. Very well equipped with lots of space to cater for all ages. The views from every room are out of this world. Our only complaint is the switch tripping so whilst using any kitchen appliance we had to turn the heating off.

Great location and perfect for groups!
Great location to Palm beach and so much room for everyone to have their own space. A little dated with a slight leak coming through the roof on the last day, but overall a great place to stay!

Richard and Sharonagh were both amazing, however the property was a bit dated and needs a bit of TLC but nothing to spoil our stay there. :)

An excellent holiday home with space aplenty for our extended family group - thanks for making us so welcome and sharing your local knowledge. Blue skies and seas meant Palm Beach was picture perfect and in spite of it being April, everyone spent much time swimming All up, a great Easter break and thank you again. Regards Lyn

Mums Weekend Away
The Palm Beach lodge did not disappoint in terms of the view & facilities. Having 18 people in one location can be full on but not with 3 separate apartments!

Perfect location
Lodge was perfect for our big group of 16 people. Property was clean although slightly dated. Easy walk down to Palm Beach and glorious views. Every room was big, spacious and private and noise doesn't seem to travel which is great. Our only disappointment was the lack of basic necessities - we ran out of toilet paper on the second day and there was only 1 dish washing tablet supplied for our three night stay. Other than that, great stay.

The place was lovely - well set out and fantastic views from every level - a great set up for a large group with everyone having their own space. We will definitely be back.

60th Birthday Clebration
With family and friends coming from all over NZ the Lodge was an amazing place to gather at, plenty of space for everyone, excellent kitchen facilities, spectacular views and easy access to the beach front. Richard was wonderful to deal with, very helpful and full of good advise. It was central to all the activities planned. Will return another time, maybe when it is warmer to make the most of the amazing decks and views.

Perfect location lots of space for 16 people great communication
Lots of room to move. Nicely set out in 3 units giving the privacy needed to do your own thing with a group of 16 but able to all join together in the main areas.
All facilities were available that you needed for a weekend away. Lovely quiet location with a few minutes to all shops.
We had 3 van size vehicles and we all were able to turn around and park on the drive way.
Would recommend this property and go again if available. Thank you Richard for a great place our teachers really enjoyed their weekend away

Fantastic place for a very large group, loads of room, we had a barbecue for about 60 people on the top deck, the day after our sons wedding on the Island, great views right over the bay, handy to shops, ferry & restaurants, lovely beach. The only reason i rate it a 4 star, is some of the bed mattresses need to be upgraded, to better quality, no very comfortable.

For our group of 10 workmates on conference and team building this property was perfect. It has a beautiful view across the water to the north and would be perfect in the summer. However, we occupied on two of the coldest days of the winter and the heating in the main living area was inadequate.

The location is perfect.
The location is perfect. The property itself needs attention. All of the bathrooms are disgustingly dirty, there is black mould and pink soap scum. The shower curtains all need replacing, one of the showers has a split tube by the shower head and is leaking, one of the toilets is loosely attached to the floor and is unstable. The laundry smells and the dryer does not work. I have informed the property management.
