We liked the close proximity to Thirsk and where we wanted to travel to during the day.

the location was very good, very clean and comfortable and some nice little touches like shower gel in the bathroom, and tea and coffee if you had forgotten these things.

the only thing I would say, is the hedge down the drive way maybe needed cutting back a little as it’s a bit tight to get down and we got a few scratches on the car.

Lovely setting, open aspect and very close to Thirsk, a charming town. Ideally placed for the wedding celebration we attended. Owners were kind and helpful. Accommodation was very well appointed and comfortable.

Lovely to return after 4 years and see how well Paul and Lucie have progressed with their business. Another great stay with everything you could want from hosts and cottage, thank you.

Second time we have stayed at the pet friendly cottage, even the 2 dogs love it ,we are happy to recommend it to other dog owners or those without pets as accommodation is lovely

Home from home. The hosts had thought of everything, all we had to provide was food and drink, although they did provide a volume of tea bags on arrival. The place was spotless and the hosts made us feel very welcome.

Lovely rural feeling location but a short walk to the lovely town of Thirsk which still has an old market town feel to it with great independent local shops. Fantastic hosts and refurbished to a really high standard. Great extras such as games for the kids, selection of DVDs etc. Hesitant to recommend as we first stayed 5 years ago and it's been booked every year we've tried since - managed to get in early enough this year and will return (assuming we can get booked!!) :)

The warm welcome and help with problems and information from Lucie the host. Loved the access to the animals on the property. Also cottage was well equipped and useful local information was made available.

Just location was quite near to a busy road.

Very friendly hosts couldn't do enough for us. Brilliant if you are a dog owner the owners are very relaxed & our dogs loved running around watching the chickens! The cottage was really clean & very well equipped. It's in a great location so don't be afraid to ask the owners for their suggestions on where to go. We were there for my partner's mountain bike race & would definitely return. They are really keen to encourage cyclists to their site & I know that they will be looking to provide secure storage & places to clean your bike - Thank you Jenny & Mark

Honestly I am struggling to find anything! They are in the middle of developing the site (so there will be camping pods with hot tubs coming next year) so the anesthetics of the site will improve - if that sort of thing bothers you!

The cottage, the site, the area, everything.

Lovely cozy cottage, beautiful tasteful deco. View of fields with horses. Hens came running to the door in the morning with a rooster. Owner Lucie very helpful, friendly. 10-15 minute walk into Thirsk. Pub down the road, The Oak Tree with excellent food. Would stay here anytime we're every in the area again. Plans for camping PODS soon. Beautiful spot.

Myself and my two daughters (9 and 12) Had a fabulous stay. The cottage was perfect and the animals on the farm were an extra special bonus. The owners were great and allowed us all to have cuddles with the lambs. The cottage was immaculate and had absolutely everything you would need . Lovely walk into thirsk town centre from this location.

These cottages are absolutely fabulous, beautiful and functional. Great if you have a dog. Paul and Lucy are wonderful. Fresh eggs for breakfast. What could be better.
