Fantastic location. Ideal for Biennale, and close to supermarket etc

Mosquitoes. A screen at the top bathroom skylight would be good. Wished I’d moved the dining table before I cracked my head on the spiral staircase. Anna gave excellent instructions on how to get to apartment. However there are two Calle del Forno in Venice. We didn’t make sure we went the one off Via Garibaldi. Also on Anna’s photo of Google map, wrong street number identified.

Location is in a calm and beautiful neighbourhood, it's a large appartment. It has all that's needed. The bed was quite comfortable. Communication with the host was via Whatsapp.

Sehr gut gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Das Apartment ist auf drei Ebenen aufgeteilt. Wohnzimmer beeindruckt sehr mit Porphyrsäulen und einer geschmiedeten Treppe. Das Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss sehr geräumig. Das Bett bequem und nachts ist es ruhig.

Es hätte sauberer sein können, vor allem in der Küche. Abgesehen von dem beeindruckend eingerichteten Wohnzimmer ist das Apartment eher zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Abflüsse funktionieren nicht überall richtig. Das mindert leider die anfängliche Begeisterung.

It was perfect. Big windows, hot water in the shower, small bathroom near the bedroom, huge telly, comfy bed, quiet. I have walking issues at the moment and could manage the stairs without trouble.

Missing a microwave.

From now on via Garibaldi is my favorite location in Venice and Vannareggio step down to 2nd place. I knew and loved area for years but 2min walk from your kitchen to excellent sunset/sunrise view point and literally 1min to selection of great bars ans coffeshops - its 10/10. Also that feeling when apartment was prepated for owner not for rental business, abd furniture and renovation cost a lot. Overall excelent value and special notes for thin orthopedic pillows and simply excellent kitchenware

It is not energy efficient and in cold months either it will be cold in the bathroom with shower (ground floor) or communal bills become terrible. Entrance door need adjustment or replacement to permanent one (as sound isolation is zero I suppose it may be temporarily inexpensive model). And be sure your are prepared for 3-storey layout with numerous differences and levels and steps here and there, as well as low ceiling mansarda 2nd bathroom. But again, it wss outstanding value and that was happiest stay from my ~10 years of annual trips to Venice

Really big apartment. Comfortable bed. Really nice host, she let us leave our bags at the apartment for an additional half day after our last night.

Location was great for us as we'd visited Venice before and knew the area well. The accomodation was fantastic - arranged over several floors, full of character
