Designed as the ultimate getaway spot for couples and families, this unit has great quality throughout and a very convenient location at the base of the Steamboat Resort. You'll enjoy the ski in, walk out location and in summer, the ski in access turns into hiking and biking access. The national forest is right out your door! In any season, guests will love how easy it is to walk anywhere in the mountain village. Not only is this a great location, but there are many extra benefits found in this particular unit. For example, the owners have provided the unit with a complimentary pack'n'play and a highchair, to make family travel that much easier. They've added a Roku with streaming services, in addition to the cable TV channels. This condo features hardwood floors throughout, fine furnishings & linens, and a beautiful custom kitchen that surpasses other 1-Bedrooms. All furniture, appliances, and materials are updated and well maintained with upgraded amenities. The condo also has a private washer and dryer! With new owners, this unit has been spruced up in the few places. For example, in 2019, the existing leather sofa was replaced with a brand new, exceptionally comfortable sleeper sofa to help accommodate a 3rd or 4th guest. Another treat is that this condo has a bathroom that features a dual headed walk in steam shower!
More on the location, which is very convenient. You can ski literally right back to the building. This is beginner level ski in access! To ski out, you just walk down some steps, across a quiet private street, down another flight of steps, and right in front of you is the "Right O Way" ski trail. This is a beginner level ski trail that leads directly to the Gondola, ski school, and ticket office. From this condo, it is an easy 2-minute walk on a heated snow free sidewalk to the shops, dining, and bars of Ski Time Square and Torian Plum Plaza. With the heated promenade wrapping around the base area slopes from Torian Plum Plaza to the Gondola and beyond, you'll find it very easy to explore the base area's many shops & restaurants. Exploring the rest of town is also pretty easy. The free city bus picks up year round right in Ski Time Square!
Additional benefits of staying here include a reserved parking space, private covered balcony with western exposure and sunset views, and of course, free wifi. The building has a very large hot tub and laundry machines as well as vending. There is an elevator to the level of this condo, but stairs are required to access the building and areas around the building, such as the hot tub. Please note, trailers are not normally allowed. If you have one, please contact us before booking to discuss if it can be accommodated on site. If not, then we have a list of options for off site trailer parking.

This is a very clean, well appointed unit that has been updated with a modern kitchen and bathroom. And a very nice steam shower. Guessing that the complex was built in the 1980’s or 90’s.

Everything was exceptional. If you rent this property, take the gondola up to the sunset party at the top.
The only issue was with the property’s communal hot tub. It was way over heated but after one message to the management team it was taken care of.

When we VRBO, we like to have a place with some beauty where we can have an extended quiet time in the AM, hike etc during day, and come back and cook and chill (wine) in the evening. Elevator was a pleasant surprise and made toting stuff from our car easy. Kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed having a couple water bottles and even some trail mix provided for our Mad Creek hike. The location is great, not far from town and close to a number of hiking trails.

This property is super cute for a long weekend stay!
The amenities are up to date, you can watch all football games on the tv, the view from the patio is beautiful, and it is incredibly homey and comfortable for 2 people! We enjoyed being close to the Hot Springs and Fish Creek Falls.
Our only negatives are that the provided pillows are very thin and the mattress is not that comfortable (subject to personal opinion, of course.).
Also, having A/C in the unit could have made it more comfortable.
Overall, we really appreciated the hospitality from the hosts and the coziness of this unit!

Excellent rental. We would definitely rent this unit again. Well equipped, great location., we felt comfortable the minute we arrived. There is a long way to carry luggage/groceries but not impossible. Just be aware if you have any health issues. Great info from property management. Easy in/out.

This place was great and the owners / property managers get the most out of the space. They really did think of everything and for a smaller place it was comfortable for two adults and two teens sharing the sofa bed.
Pros: Convenient location - can walk to the base in 5mins, place has everything you need and they make the most of the space, ski in is great just walk up one flight for stairs and dump your stuff in the large ski locker. Hot tub is nice, steam shower is great after a long day on the slopes. Management is also very responsive. Parking was no issue is the busiest week of the year so not sure why the other reviews mention that. And really the best pro is the value. Places only a little closer and a little bigger seemed right be 2x as much for just a little closer. Plenty of space for two people and we managed fine with two adults and two teens for 8 nights.
Cons: They need to relable the key lockbox. it’s not easy to find the label compared to all the other lockboxes at the property. The listing says “Ski-in/out” on vbro. it’s really just ski in. you have to go down a few flights is stairs and walk out to the slope to ski out. it’s less work for sure than walking from the lots so it’s really not that bad and we managed fine but the title of the property listing is misleading in than it’s not true ski out. but for what you pay it’s minimal effort and shouldn’t stop you from booking.

My 12 year old son and I had an amazing stay here. It was clean, beautiful and truly had everything we could ask for. The location is fantastic; you can see the chairlift from the balcony. The slopes are a short walk away and you are right there in the sweet village. The unit is small but it fit our needs super well. I am scared to give it too good of a review in fear that it won't be available next time we want to come out and stay! We had a blast....and we will be back again!

A comfortable condo, great kitchen. The website does mention that some amenities may not be available during certain periods. I admit I should have inquired and take responsibility for that, but when the hot tub is closed from Oct 3 until the start of ski season (we stayed the weekend of Oct 28-31), it would have been nice to have the listing reflect this information as it's clearly not a recent development. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay.
