Ok to good.

Poor breakfast diversity; you pay kr 165 per person.

Could be a better breakfast offer. Good scrambled eggs, but no bacon. No fresh juice. Tasteless coffee.

Nettes Hotel, um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfbereit. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber zweckmäßig und für 2 Nächte ausreichend. Das komplette Hotel und auch die Zimmer waren sehr sauber.

Dass es bei zwei Übernachtungen keinen Zimmerservice gibt. Man muss den Müll selbst zum Mülleimer im Flur bringen und auch frische Handtücher bzw. Toilettenpapier muss man eigenverantwortlich an der Rezeption abholen. Laut Auskunft der Rezeption wird der Zimmerservice erst bei 5 Übernachtungen durch das Hotelpersonal durchgeführt. Aber es hat auch so geklappt!

The concept of this hotel is very good. Although the room has basic facilities, but they provide general facilities, which have anything we need (water kettle, Microwave, cutlery Ect). You can also leave your luggage for free (after check-out), so you have time to explore the city, without taking your luggage with you, until the time of your flight or train.

Everything was very good..., except the need to clean the room with a vacuum cleaner, because we could still feel a little sand on the room floor.

Las comodidades y la facilidad para realizar el check in y check out. La habitación tiene lo necesario para disfrutar de la estancia. Se encuentra a unos 30 min del centro caminando.

Flott beliggenhet og gode fasiliteter. Alt i alt veldig fornøyd med hotellet og rommet :)

Flott beliggenhet,kort avstand til bergen sentrum. Komfortable senger og koselig lounge med tilgang til en liten kjøkken krok der det er utstyrt med mikrobølgeovn,vannkoker og dvs. I tillegg finnes det en tv i loungen og restaurant rett ved siden av. Alt i alt veldig fornøyd med hotellet og rommet :)

Opplevde at ikke det var dopapir da vi ankom, men ble raskt fikset.

Fair price, fine quality in an expensive country

Everybody knows Norway is an expensive country compared to most European countries. So I guess the idea of getting very comfortable accomodation for a more realistic price is very good. I liked everything about this hotel. The location was very nice - very near public transportation (to the airport and city center). The price was fair. It didn't bother me that they don't clean the room every day. The bathroom had also warm floor. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me one.

Everything was fine. I will keep an eye on Citybox in other cities as well when I book again. I didn't try the breakfast/restaurant.

Letto comodissimo. In generale struttura carina e di recente costruzione.

Disattenzione massima da parte del personale. Mancanza di carta igienica in camera per ben 3 giorni, stanza mai pulita nè riassettata. Posizione decisamente decentrata.

Good, clean and comfortable if that's what you are looking for,

I liked the concept, probably designed to reduce costs, whereby there was no receptionist and if you needed anything you had to go to the manager's office or ring a bell. My wife did not like that system. Breakfast was okay.

I asked that they straighten out the room for the second day and was refused. Upon request, we did get a fresh set of towels.

Excellent place

Nice place not very far from the city center walking (a nice about a 30-minute walk), but also very practically located close to the Bybanen city-airport train stop Danmarksplass (about 35 minutes to the airport, 8 minutes to the city center). Very easy to find, uncomplicated check-in, staff available all the time if you need help, very welcome and lively place, but also quiet, if you need to relax and enjoy your privacy. Everything very clean, simple but nice and comfortable room (ours had a view of a nearby mountain and a big supermarket Extra just opposite the hotel - open every day). There is cleaning only if you pay extra but this didn't bother us during our 3-night stay at all. Extra towels are available at the reception if needed, we asked for a water kettle and could keep it during the whole stay. There is a restaurant where you can have breakfast/lunch/dinner, but we didn't use it. Exploring Bergen, we very much recommend walking up Floyen Mountain and hiking around and also going to Mount Ulriken (we took the cable car). Next time staying in Bergen we would stay at Citybox Danmarksplass again.

The bed was too soft. The kitchen consists of a water cattle, microwave, toaster, good coffee, fridge for everyone's use, and some disposable wooden cutlery/plates/cups. We would have expected a little bit more real kitchen equipment, do not expect to really cook there.
