About this house rental

Enjoy our ocean view home in beautiful Manzanita on the North Oregon Coast. Our comfortable home is perfect for a small family, three couples, a ladies' weekend or a romantic weekend for two. Our home is one and a half blocks from the ocean with direct beach access where you can stroll the magnificent, seven mile beach. We also have a view of Neahkahnie Mountain looking north. Just walk across the street to tee off on picturesque Manzanita Golf Course, or bike to Nehalem State Park on one of our two bikes. Tennis, volleyball and playground are just a few blocks away at the City Park.

Our fully equipped kitchen/great room with vaulted ceiling, skylight and river rock fireplace is on the upper level looking out to the ocean. The great room is surrounded by full length windows for amazing views. Relax on our large deck off the great room with a good book while enjoying a grand ocean view. The master bedroom (queen bed) with a large walk-in closet has a private deck and full bath with skylight. Our additional guest bath is also on upper level. The lower level has two bedrooms (one with queen bed, one with twin beds), full bath, and utility room. We have a barbecue and 4 Adirondack chairs on the large upper deck looking out to the ocean. Enjoy beautiful flowers on our deck during summer months.

We are ten blocks to the main street of Manzanita where you will find wonderful restaurants, delightful gift and antique shops, wine bar, bookstore, 2 grocery stores, coffee shops, and bakery. Excellent crabbing in Nehalem Bay is just three miles away and you are welcome to take our crab pot with you. Sorry, we do not allow pets or smoking.

We have Wi-Fi, a flat screen/cable TV, DVD player and a large selection of CDs as well as games, puzzles, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrella, port-a-crib and highchair.
There is a smart TV in downstairs bedroom.

Our family of 5 stayed for a little under a week. We walked to the beach every day - a short easy walk from the house. We enjoyed meals and family time in the large family room/kitchen overlooking the ocean. The home itself is very inviting and well kept. For families with little kids, the master is upstairs and two other bedrooms are downstairs. We could still hear our youngest when he needed us at night. The kitchen was fully stocked making meals at home easy. We loved our stay - thank you!

This is our fourth stay and we love it every time. Great view that allows you to enjoy the ocean even when relaxing at the house. Perfect location from beach, downtown and the local park. We'll be back again!

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and we can't wait to come back. The home was really clean and well stocked. Such a relaxing space and close to beach and town. So enjoyed the view, star gazing on the deck and watching the sunsets!

Enjoyed the well furnished and supplied beach home. Especially appreciated the flowers on the deck, the well stocked kitchen, and the spacious closets! Nice access to town and golf course and not far from the beach.

This was our third time staying at the property - we keep coming back because it checks all the boxes to accommodate an easy vacation with two young kids (2 and 4). Location is 4 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the city park and downtown. The deck overlooks the water to enjoy quiet time and drinks after the kids go to sleep. Each room has a big walk in closet perfect for black-out kids sleep. Carol is super responsive and seems to be a very lovely person over email :) Would 100% recommend!

Carol has such a lovely home. The location is steps from the beach and the home itself was very comfortable and clean. We especially loved the photo album detailing carols efforts to “save the tree” as well as the home construction timeline. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

We enjoyed staying at this home so much and would love to return again. It was cleaner than we expected it would be based on past rentals we’ve stayed at on the Oregon Coast. This one was the cleanest and most updated by far. The view of the ocean was better than the picture depicted. Communication was great with the owner.

Our family (5 persons) had a wonderful time! The house is a very easy walk to the beach, playground, golf course, the town, etc. The location is very quiet, safe, and relaxing. The house is spotless, has everything one needs for a great time at the beach including beach toys for our little grandson. Carol quickly answered our questions. Great place!

Stayed here with my husband and daughters family that included a 2 year old and 3 month old. Favorite parts were the view and closeness to the beach. Deck was awesome and situated such where the wind wasn’t an issue. Nice walk to main drag for restaurants and grocery store. Enjoyed a fire one cool evening. Overall place was wonderful and comfortable. Owner was very responsive to a question we had. Enjoyed a drive to Tillamook for tour of Tillamook factory. In the end we all really wished we could have stayed longer!

We have rented properties up and down the coast, and this is our favorite. It’s so well equipped, you can see the ocean clearly, or walk five minutes and be on the shore. It’s perfect for 2 couples and 2 children, and everyone has their own space. The walk-in closets for each bedroom eliminate clutter on the main floor. They are even big enough for a baby to sleep in. The pictures really don’t show the place well. We had stayed here years before and knew it was nice.

Carole’s house in Manzanita is absolutely amazing! The house was immaculate – absolutely spotless. The beds were comfortable, sheets clean, extra blankets and pillows available as needed. There were plenty of towels and every other amenity a person could think of. It is obvious how much care is put into the house and how much the hosts have considered their guests. It may sound like “little” things, but the little things add up to a spectacular stay! The house itself is fantastic, but we also appreciated the boxes of tissues, the garbage bags, cleaning supplies, hand soaps, etc… the little touches of care and convenience were noticed and appreciated. The dishes and utensils were plentiful, it was nice to be able to serve more than one meal without having to wash the dishes; there were serving dishes and utensils. Truly, the hosts have gone above and beyond creating a perfect vacation home. We can’t wait to rent this home again. We highly recommend!!!!

Everything was perfect. Clean, close to the beach and close to town. It had everything we needed, including extra masks, and was a lovely place to move into and relax. It's obviously more than a.rental to the owners, and the care that's been put into the furniture and upkeep of the house, inside and out, reflect that.

Great location for traveling with a toddler and 4 seniors as it’s an easy walk to the beach. Appreciated the extremely well-stocked kitchen and baby gate for stairs. Very spacious and comfortable with lots of places for all the stuff you end up lugging with you on vacation. Deck has a gorgeous view, but often windy so don’t have your heart set on dining outside. Recommend bringing your own beach chairs if you are picky about chairs as the ones provided are the higher, camping type chairs. We had a lovely time and would stay again!

The property has a beautiful view and relaxing deck to hang out on. The gas grill on the deck worked perfect. Big closets to store all your extra travel gear. Easy walk to the beach and a little bit further to town but, not bad. Easy to jump on bikes and ride through the state park. Only hiccup, the garage door broke. The owners were available and quickly responded. Everything was fixed the same day.

House was wonderful with great view of the ocean. Kitchen and living room are on second floor with big windows looking out at the ocean. House had everything we needed for a fun beach weekend. The location is perfect, 5 minutez to beach, across the street from golf course and a nice distance from downtown which is walkable but you are away from the hubbub. Comfortably accommodated our family of four. Would certainly rent again.
