Impressed by the quality of the renovation - nice kitchen with everything you could want, nice prints on the walls, lots of wood - ceilings and doors, bathrooms small but well appointed. Short walk over the dunes to the beach and also walkable to town. Nice quiet location. We would definitely come again.

Very beautifully update cottage with close beach access. Quite neighborhood still close to Manzanita, golf cousre and state park where you can rent horses for a ride on the beach. Easy day trips to Cannon Beach and Tillamook. Great hikes at state parks up and down HWY 101. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful house looks and feels exactly like the photos and description online. Beach access is just a couple doors down. Nice quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of the downtown shops. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a week-long family gathering. Great rental!

This house was very nice and just as it was described. The furniture was comfortable. We enjoyed being able to stream with the roku that was there and settle in for watching movies. The tables were perfect for games and projects. The kitchen was nice. It does not have any pantry stuff that is often in rentals so be sure to come totally prepared. There are a few spices but not much. There is a large griddle I believe but not a smaller non stick pan which made making pancakes for just two of us a bit of a challenge. The pots and pans are stainless which are nice but if you aren't used to cooking with them they are not super non-stick friendly. I was thinking there would be more of a peek a boo view of the ocean but there was not. You could hear it though which made for nice background noise to go to sleep to. The 2 closest beach access points are pretty steep and definitely enter at your own risk but there is a good access point just a bit further down the road. The Oregon coast beaches are so great for long walks. The town of Manzanita never disappoints, such great shops and it is so close to this house.
There was a bit of a hiccup with the cleaning when we got there as it hadn't be completed but I reached out to Jill and she made it right, right away. We were grateful.

Property manager was very helpful. Shout out to the cleaning person(s)! Extra attention to details made this house a true home-away-from-home. It’s a cozy house with great water pressure, special extras like cable, tv in all rooms, kid’s DVDs and games, beach chairs, plenty of bathroom hooks, full kitchen setup, fireplace. One area for improvement might be on the lighting. Maybe some under cabinet lights would help make it easier to see while cooking on the stove. This place was super clean and organized. Everything was clearly labeled which made it easy to relax instead of testing light switches in a new home. Loved the oversized tub!

Jill is very attentive to all of the details and this place just feels like home and it is so close to Manzanita Beach, our favorite beach in the USA!

This house was perfection. The home was spotlessly clean and uncluttered. It had no dust, no mold/mildew, nothing cluttering the shelves/drawers/closets/under beds. No dust under the furniture. If you have asthma/allergies/chemical sensitivities this house is perfect for you. The home was very comfortable. The beds and bedding, the numerous blankets, the mattresses, the couch and chairs - all were incredibly cozy and lovely. The amenities were wonderful - we lacked for nothing: the kitchen had everything a cook could ever want including very nice pots/pans/knives and bakeware; the grill was large enough to cook whole meals; the home had plenty of lounge style chairs for the porch as well as portable nice beach chairs and towels for the beach; the game room included many books, games and puzzles. It was our first beach trip in years that we didn't have to travel to Fred Meyers for chairs or towels or kitchenware. The location was fabulous - 500 steps from the beach which is as close as possible due to the sand dunes. You can hear the roar of the ocean at all times which made for dreamy sleeping as the master bedroom window faces the ocean and breezes. The sunsets were also spectacular from the front porch. It is a very short walk to town. The neighborhood was friendly and very quiet. We loved having 2 dining tables so we could use one for dining and one for puzzles. Also the owner was awesome with communication and requests!

This is a beautiful home in the perfect location and included everything we needed plus more! We enjoyed the comfy beds/bedding, the spacious layout and kitchen, the board games, and plush towels. We appreciated the extra amenities for families like the high chair, children's books, cups and puzzles, etc. The location can't be beat - it's only a short walk to the beach and to great coffee and local restaurants, but also tranquil and quiet - we even saw a mom deer and two fawns walk right through the back yard! The home was the perfect place to relax after soaking up the sunshine and exploring tide pools at Hug Point. I can't recommend this home enough, we will return the first chance we get.

This beach house was a perfect stay for our annual sisters’ get-together. Our incredible host, Jill Petty, and her delightful house met the needs of every one of us—and we are a diverse group of the tender ages, 67–77 years old. This lovely, yet unassuming, home is nicely situated at a quiet end of the street. The one floor layout and cozy, yet spacious, accommodations more than met our needs for socializing and rest. The convenience to town and the beach made walking easy and day trips around the area a breeze. The house is impeccable in both cleanliness and decor, and Jill is super friendly and very responsive. We would happily recommend this location for a group of adults, or for a family with children (She has a lovely game room with plenty of games and very cute children’s decor in one bedroom.🤗) our group has stayed in many vacation rentals, but never one that was better than Jill’s!

Very clean, well stocked house with a short walk to a quiet and beautiful beach. Can just barely see the water but no view of the sand/waves. My wife and two kids had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. Beds were comfy, kitchen with lots of supplies and a nice little play area/game space on a lower level by the kitchen for the kids. 5/5 would recommend.

Felt like a classic vacation rental of our childhoods—be it a SoCal or Jersey Shore special fully stocked with kid toys and board games—even a PlayStation—kitchen gear that left even the most adventurous of amateur chefs wanting for very little. Thanksgiving dinner couldn’t have asked for anything more. I’m addition to the cooking and plating supplies, there were plenty of sheets and towels to keep a full house fresh and cozy. The location was perfect. A bulletin board filled with tsunami evacuation instructions was nice to have even if the odds were slim. The place was just great. Great place for a base station if branching out on outdoor or road adventures, or a great place to just lounge, listen to music, channel surf, play clue, while listening to the storms pass through.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was spotless, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. We liked the fluffy towels and heated floors in the bathroom. The host was very responsive, but, in truth, there was very little we needed to ask about. And in spite of the fact that it rained a lot while we were there, we got a spectacular sunset from the front room windows.

The house was in a good location and in good condition. Although it is a short hike over the dunes to the beach, you cannot see the ocean very well from the house. No issues with the house at all. The owners might consider installing bathroom exhaust fans.

Kitchen very well stocked and appeared newer. May want just a bit of room to store food but other than that, it was great. Peek a boo view of the ocean. Town of Manzanita has charm and character, easy to get around. Restaurants good and awareness of different dietary restrictions (gluten). Some quality shopping but not the hustle and bustle of other nearby coastal towns.

Simply The Best
This is officially our favorite beach rental. Everything from the cleanliness to the location was perfect. I kept finding myself thinking that I could happily live in this house full-time.
The home is about a half mile walk to Laneda Ave (the main street in town) and is located in a quiet little corner of Manzanita. It is not directly on the beach, but a quick walk through the dunes will get you on the sand quickly.
This house had it all: comfortable beds, a very well stocked kitchen, and a nice big tub in one of the bathrooms. I took a bubble bath seven nights in a row!
Sometimes it's the little things that make a big impression and this house has lots of great little things: sharp knives in the kitchen, soft bedding, nice pillows, access to Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc... but the thing I was most impressed with was the fact that the laundry room was equipped with brand name detergent and dryer sheets, which means fluffy, clean towels. Like I said, it's the little things...
You won't be sorry if you rent this house. It is lovely.

This is one of the cleanest most well-maintained short-term rentals I’ve experienced. It has all the amenities you could want. It’s compact yet plenty of room for our group. Super close to the beach and the town. We would stay here again.

Nice Place
The property was clean, well-maintained, and had nice furnishings (good pots and pans, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture and bed). I appreciated the attention to detail and the host's responsiveness. There was unfortunately a construction site nearby, and nail guns and construction vehicles starting up at 8:00 AM on weekdays. I ended up leaving a day earlier than planned due to the noise. Not at all under the host's control but she comped the last night of my stay, which I appreciated. It wasn't her fault that the construction crew was active while I was there. During non-construction hours the house was quiet and very convenient to the beach (short walk through the dunes).
