The whole property was lovely, decorations exceptional. Although we didn't use the pool it looked very clean and inviting. The restaurant was centrally located next to the pool and inside the courtyard and the food was excellent. Location very close to Chichen Itza and the hotel arranged for a guide so we were able to bypass the entry lines. The room, though small, was adequate with two beds and a good bathroom. The bathroom had a shower chair and grab bars which is great as I am handicapped. Also the hotel had ramps everywhere so I could get around easily.
I use a wheelchair and needed grab bars in the bathroom which the room didn't have.

Accueil.

This hotel is very pretty because it’s built in the style of a hacienda! :) The hotel is not big and there were only a few other guests, so it’s perfect if you want to relax in the quiet, beautiful and historical area of Chichen Itza. We could be at Chichen Itza at the opening time (8AM) because it’s very closeby, so we only had to wait in line for 5 minutes for a ticket. The rooms of the hotel are clean, comfortable and cute. The bathroom and beds are comfortable. The swimming pool was very nice also!
The food of the restaurant in the hotel is fine, but not the best and not too cheap.

The arranged a tour guide for Chichen-Itza to meet us at the hotel first thing in the morning, and he was very good.
No running water all night between 11pm-6am. I guess they turn off the pump overnight, but they did not warn us, so we could not take a shower or even flush the toilet. Room was full of live critters including some strange beetle on the bed and a creepy centipede crawling around. Facial tissue holder was empty. Bed was uncomfortable and air-con blew down directly onto it, so it was impossible to choose between too hot and and too cold. Pool was too dirty to swim in; they need to at least run the pump to keep the surface clean. Beers were priced higher than any other hotel bar or restaurant we've been to. Located is very isolated so dining options are very limited (but not impossible).

We have stayed here before and this time our stay was just an overnight stay traveling from Cancun to Merida at night. We arrived about 10 pm and were greeted by a very pleasant woman, who got us checked in immediately and showed us to our room. The next morning the staff was super friendly getting us our breakfast and on our way to Merida.

The selected location was very good as there is a specific door to access Chichen Itza ruins. However, since COVID-19 this door is now closed. So this hotel has no interest anymore.
We chose this hotel, for the reason mentioned on top, all the other topics were from just fair to bad. What is the main reason of choosing this hotel is not accessible anymore so I would rate hotel as nasty.

Beautiful building, decorated with a lot of taste. Spirit of the archeologists still palpable. The pool in the patio was amazing. The dining area outside was lovely. The staff was very kind. The rooms were functional and nice at the same time.
Shower and toilets had very little pressure. Otherwise everything was really to our liking. Loved it!

Close to Chichen Itza. Nice swimming pool. Green surroundings. Maya flair.
It's a shame the old quick walking entrance to the Maya ruins is no longer in person. Though you're just meters away, you have to drive five minutes and pay for parking.

The staff was absolutely fabulous!! They connected us with a guide who made our trip an unforgettable experience. Truly extraordinary! The setting/grounds are relaxing and lovely, an oasis of tranquility. And the meals were delicious! Also, very convenient to Chichen Itza ruins. We celebrated our 25th anniversary here, and we're so glad we did!!!

Excellent facility and location. 5 min drive to the entrance of Chichen Itza. There is a very nice pool with a very pretty garden surrounding it. Very tranquil. You can have meals poolside at the restaurant. They offered a dinner and breakfast for $550 MEX ($30 USD) per person. The food was surprisingly good and the convenience was unbeatable, especially having breakfast right at the hotel to get to Chichen Itza early (which is essential!).
Not uncommon in Mexico, the beds where rock hard. Very firm mattress on a cement bed. Also, the air conditioning blew directly over the bed, which meant I had to toggle it on and off over the course of the night. Not a great nights sleep.

Good value for money relation and comfortable beds in a very quiet atmosphere.
The hotel is still (March 2023) promoting the back entrance to Chichen Itza in walking distance while this is actually closed since 2020. so the main reason for selecting this hotel was void.
4.0
The location, very close to the pyramids, enables to visit early in the morning before the crowd.
The room is very small, the beds are small, accessible only from one side. The towels are old, soap is cheap, there is a lack of staff (while the waiters in the restaurant are very nice, but too few). Given the price, it is a poor experience.
5.0
The look of the place and location.
They over charged us. Used an exchange rate that added 10% to the bill.

Only 7min taxi from Chichen Itza (no walking distance, 100 $MEX). The hotel was clean, super quiet and the pool area is amazing !

It is nice location. It is so close to the Piramida. Very friendly receptionists and so testy food. Amazing garden and very cute atmosphere!
A bed was not so comfortable, but it is ok for 1 night.

A beautiful, authentic hotel and such a great pool. A quiet oasis close to the archeological site of Chichen Itza. We wanted to be early at the site, before the crowds came in. So we stayed here for one night, the night before our visit. It made all the difference to stay here. After our visit to Chichen Itza, they gave us a late check-out so we could enjoy the pool some more. Very nice personnel and very good value for money, we didn't want to leave!

Perfect location for Chichen Itza - would recommend the night show
Kitchen is supposed to close at 10:00, they stopped serving food around 9:30 without warning - a little annoying.
7.0
The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. Bottles of water were offered on arrival.
In contrast to the excellent service we have received elsewhere in Mexico the attitude of the personnel here was questionable. They didn’t smile once and gave us the sense that we were annoying them by being there. Another downside to this place is the cost of the food ($420 for breakfast and $1,200 for lunch per person is outrageous - they are clearly making the most of the fact that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere). Finally there is no point in staying here if your plan is to walk to Chichén Itzá as the gate that used to link the back of the hotel to the entrance of the site is closed since Covid and you therefore need to do a 5min drive by car/taxi to go all the way around. If we had known this we would have just stayed in Pisté.

very peaceful and private
A little maintenance was needed in the room. The sink faucet was not secure, but worked ok. The toilet paper holder was broken. Not very hot water.

Thus is just around the corner from the Mayan ruins. The food is really great, and the staff are so kind and friendly!
