Convenient
Hotel will not provide an invoice and neither will
Booking.com which means I am now unable to claim back the money spent for this work trip

Modern building, good location, good size room. Nice chair.
There was a food tray on the floor outside a neighbouring room when we arrived at 5pm and it was still there at 10pm.
Room ceiling was in poor cosmetic order.
Shower very old fashioned, fixed, no hand held or height adjustment, and you’re guaranteed to get splashed with cold water when switching from bath tab to shower, because you have to stand or lean under the shower to reach the lever.
Beds were very uncomfortable - both my fiancé and I had back pain after a night’s sleep. I think there’s a cheap spring mattress under the top cover.
Aircon quite noisy but not very efficient or adjustable.

The location is good
I was disappointed at the tempreature of the room and told that the air con isn't in fact air con but a cooling fan and that an engineer will be along to fix the problem, he didn't arrive.
The WiFi was also down and I was travelling for work which meant missing deadlines on important projects.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt Regency &
Would definitely stay here again! Loved the spa out only downside was the pool being too cold but apart from that we found it so relaxing!
The pool could of been much warmer!!

Pleasant staff. Rapid lift. View. Breakfast area was pleasant. Comfy beds and clean bathroom.
Very expensive breakfast. Noisy A/C ventilation system in room and when inspected have not been cleaned in a long long time. Switched it off and this made the room hot and less pleasant to sleep. Would expect better especially since covid pandemic and the awareness it supposedly brought.

The staff in the restaurant and front desk were fantastic. They made our visit memorable. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The pool area could do with more seating. Parking is extortionate!! £54 for an overnight stay!

Perfect for concert at Symphony Hall. You can walk across the bridge from inside the hotel to upper circle.
Nothing except restricted parking, but we left our car a short Uber ride away.

Parking nightmare. area is not the Hotels despite Concierge assisting in parking and having at time of booking to establish if parking was available. Ended up completely Blocked in and had to wait to someone came to leave the next morning, a wait of 2 hours. Hotel didn't want to know - standard reply the Car Park is not ours. Main restaurant not open for meals in the evening. Only the Terrace Bar . Food was dreadful, sent back as it was raw,- cooked another serving but wasn't much better. utter rip off prices. Seemed Hotel bar was open to anyone to walk in off the street. Became overbearingly busy around 10.00 pm, Noisy neighbours in adjacent rooms ( i know that's not the Hotels fault.) Wouldn't look to return to this Hotel ever

The view was amazing as we were very high up. The bed and the room was just massive and nice, Staff were so friendly
the parking there is super limited space and costs 27 oer day

only view from the window but event glasses was dirty….
very poor service, was not informed that the car would need to be paid for separately. very bad experience with this hotel. now I understand why it is poorly rated.
4.0
The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the location, too.
The air conditioning in my room didn’t work. It was 23 degrees….a bit too warm to sleep comfortably.

The view, the hotel was amazing

Excellent location close to main centre and adjoining the CBSHall where we had booked to hear the excellent Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra. We had Continental breakfast as full breakfast is too expensive. Dinner menus also very expensive as we found when we ate twice in the restaurant.
Shower in the bathroom. Walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath is now a normal requirement in a 4 star hotel . A bath cannot now be justified with the need to save water and energy.
4.0
the spa
the staff and the conditions of the room, not worth value , carpets dirty.
parking is a nightmare, they do not have private parking. 27£ for just parking in the street and not guaranteed. staff was not friendly.

Everything was perfect from the facilities to the attention of care the staff put in to make you feel as comfortable as possible, so happy.
I was able to add some small decorations for my partners 21st birthday to surprise him and it was the greatest time away we could have imagined even with the slight bump to his head 😅.
Nothing.

Very clean, very friendly, views are amazing , fabulous choice of breakfast
Some Special Thank yous first to Craig on the door who as always was very friendly made us feel welcome . Nevin in the regency who literally could not do enough for us , ensuring we had drinks and offered us a range of snacks informed us of all the food that was put out and encouraged us to try new foods. We missed Sandra on this visit 😞 but from what we know about how Sandra likes her bar run. We must say nevin did her proud that night .
The rooms were spotless the bed was very comfortable and the views are amazing. Thank you to everyone that made our stay wonderful. We will be back soon.
I wouldn’t say I dislike , but it was great when the mini bar was stocked and we had the choice to purchase.
And idea may be
.. if the rooms had regency access maybe some snacks and drinks in the fridge .

Location, rooms were spacious and communal areas lovely but the real USP of this hotel are the exceptional staff. Each and everyone of them wonderful at their jobs and so kind and gracious with my son (7) and his cousin (6). Big shout out to Team Leader Mo! Love love love! And Michelle and Gabriela, the breakfast and dinner serving staff. BIG UP TEAM!
Sad that there was no flexibility on my kids being able to use the pool.

All of it but ut was cold - the duvet was thin and the room didn't seem to heat up despite putting the dial to 30 degrees. Noisy fab thing as had to leave it on.
as above

Not really value for money any more for me
Not extending my expectations

Great reception and restaurant and leisure facilities.
The lighting in our room was very poor. You couldn’t see to read anything or get ready and do hair or makeup.
4.0
The room was clean, bed really comfortable. The rooms are really spacious and the spa facilities are amazing, couldn’t fault them.
Initially me and my parents were somehow checked into the same room, which was inconvenient as neither of our cards were working (you need the card for the lift, so me and my partner were stuck in the lift for a while). The staff resolved this quickly though and offered us complimentary breakfast, which was amazing.
4.0
The location was good.
The bar had nice drinks.
The bed was comfy.
The room was very expensive and considering the price, I have had better amenities in alternative slightly cheaper hotels. When paying £255 for a room for one night it is the small offerings that make the difference… such as; breakfast included, biscuits provided in room along with hot drinks, hot chocolate sachets, steps to the plunge pool very wobbly and felt unsafe and similar comments made by other spa users. Hydro hot tub pool small. Showers freezing cold. I am struggling to see what makes this a premium hotel for the price charged in comparison to other hotels.

I like the rooms at the Hyatt, they’re spacious and the bed is comfortable. There’s an onsite spa and the location is close to everything.
This is my fourth visit to the Hyatt and for the price point they could offer a bit more. You have to pay quite a bit for the breakfast and the spa facilities are very small you can’t spend more than an hour before getting bored. The pool is always freezing even though it’s advertised as heated and the hot tub is awkwardly shaped.

Great location and supered facility in the heart of Birmingham centre.

I love the area in the foyer bar was very good
The bed was very hard and uncomfortable
4.0
Bed, shower, facilities... All top notch.
Poor quality maintenance, badly chipped bath, mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, mirror was showing damage, the shaving mirror light didn't work. For the price you pay I would expect higher standards than this.
4.0
Breakfast was not the standard to be expected for a room that cost over £300
Slow, rude reception staff.
Apparently unaware of our change of date ( despite having had confirmation).
Dated hotel everything in need of sprucing up.
Upon arriving home discover that I’d been charged for a no show, again despite showing evidence of confirmation of date change. Told that it would be refunded immediately. Still waiting!
Club facilities lacking compared to other Hyatt’s.
Service & standard of food at breakfast Very poor.
Thoroughly disappointing stay.

Great location, good food and the bar man knew how to make a great cosmopolitan. Comfortable rooms and staff were extremely helpful.
Parking on site is limited. We were blocked in by a totally selfish individual who thought it was ok to park on double yellow lines preventing us from leaving. We were waiting nearly two hours before we were able to exit and start our homeward journey.
4.0
Location was perfect for exploring the main attractions in Birmingham. The lobby area is very beautiful, and a perfect space for relaxing with friends.
4.0
Everything was " near perfect " from the start till the end . The official at the check in counter was extremely cordial and extended a warm welcome which set the tone for the stay . The overall ambience was very pleasant and the stay felt like being at a " home away from home "!!
There was no housekeeping done on the day after the check in and even on the following day a couple of reminders had to be given before the cleaning was done ! However the , very well mannered , cleaning staff on duty made up for this by doing a great job and this probably made us forget the issue .

We didn’t stay for breakfast but the location was extremely excellent
The price of the breakfast was slightly expensive

Great location right in the centre of town and close to all amenities.
Hotel is a little tired and could really do with a facelift. Staff were a mixture of quite experienced and some who lacked training and experience in basic functions ("do you want me to change the wine glass or should I pour the red wine in the one you used for white wine"!)
They were all very friendly but please provide some basis training!!
The breakfast options were of very poor quality!!
4.0
Perfect location for us, right in the middle of city centre, easy access to Christmas Market.
Hotel doesn't guarantee parking space on site, they advertise as no booking necessary, which can be misinterpreted, only after arrival we've realised that it wasn't guaranteed, we were very lucky to get a free space. It wasn't clearly explained that it might be that you arrive in your car and won't be able to park on site.
Breakfast coffee was very disappointing, I ordered cappuccino, I was given regular coffee with cold milk and chocolate sprinkle on top, nowhere near a cappuccino. I'd rather be told we don't have it instead of getting lukewarm flat white.
