Was allowed to bring my dog. Receptionist who checked us in was brilliant and very welcoming to my family including our dog which always helps on arrival. The hotel is located very close to my family who I was visiting. Perfect for us really. Breakfast was nice and we all slept well.
Theres no lift but we're all healthy and had no problem getting up the stairs.

The rooms had everything we could need on a trip away. The room was very, very clean, plus we always had a very comfortable night sleep. The shower was absolutely perfect. Most importantly, the staff were very attentive and very professional. Every need we needed, they would always cater to, including providing taxi's.
We stayed at this hotel 25th to 27th May 2024 and every part of our stay was well worth the money we paid. A fantastic place to stay.
Nothing.

Wow, ich bin beeindruckt... Nach einer schlechten Erfahrung in einem anderen Hotel in einer anderen Stadt war ich skeptisch...bis zur Ankunft. Schon von außen macht das Hotel durchaus was her. Wenn man hineinkommt- beeindruckend! Schön eingerichtet, großer geschnitzter Kamin, alles geschmackvoll. Dann ein netter Empfang an der Rezeption. Und am schönsten - das Zimmer. Modern, sauber, groß. Super Bett. Vielen Dank!

Spotless. Nice staff, room lovely but heard people coming in St 1,2 3 in the morning very loud but in all fairness they probably had a drink
The couple in the next room kept me awake
till 5 in the morning talking, banging shouting and the other. 😪

Good spot directly off A6 with plenty of onsite car parking. Good breakfast provided. Overall good value for money.
Service at bar and restaurant in evening was non existent.....waited for 10-15 minutes for someone to appear, gave up and went to the pub down the road. Room facilities are basic.

Having lived nearby on Mile End Lane til my 30s (many years ago!) and knowing the hotel for many years, I'd never actually been inside! I wouldn't say it was the most plush or upmarket hotel in the world but it was pleasant and good enough. The staff were sooo friendly and one of them went way beyond expectations. We didn't get his name but as there was a function on in the hotel, the dining room wasn't available. They offered to let us eat in the bar but the kids from the function were running around like giddy kippers, so they realised that wouldn't work. In comes superhero! The big front dining room, laid out for an upcoming conference, and a table in there was offered to us. The table was laid and we were left to ourselves, allowing us to catch up with my sister in peace. The food was great, service amazing, meal price was reasonable. I can't praise the staff enough. Thank you 😇
Rain, but that's Stockport! Lol

Location was ideal for our visit to Stockport. The hotel and staff were excellent. Facilties were very good and food was good value.
Cannot think of anything which could have been better.

Cozy if a little dated but excellent history and super helpful staff. Breakfast and bar food was far better than expected for the price we paid. Will definitely be using again.
Only 3 plug sockets in a quadruple room, maybe an extension lead in the room would be helpful.
Slightly disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open as the reviews where so food for it, but as 4th March and bar food was restaurant standard can't really complain.
