Location and breakfast
The shower is very small
The crowds at breakfast
Expensive for what we got in general

Great location and breakfast
Our friend’s room needed sweeping; there was cereal on the floor. Also the drapes were hanging off the hooks in several places.

Near to the harbor and fabulous breakfast buffet
No complaints

Nydelig familierom. Deilige senger. Rent. God frokost - bra utvalg. Veldig sentralt. Valuta for pengene.
Utrolig sur og gretten eldre kvinne i resepsjonen.

Nothing
Air Conditioning wasn’t working, no hair dryers, heating flasks or telephone was provided in the room. My room wasn’t cleaned everyday and also the trash wasn’t taken out. Refrigerator wasn’t working. I had to go down every time I needed something and then also had to wait for staff to be at their desk. Zero value for money. Bergen is an expensive city and I paid a lot for my stay but I received the worst service.

Not much - the bed was comfortable. The location was OK for my trip. I really did not like anything else look below if you don;' t believe me !
The room looks nice on the photos but it was cold and as it was already June the hotel would not switch the heating on despite that it was only 10-14C degrees outside and this dropped lower at night. I wanted to work in my room but the lighting was so poor that I had to use my torch in the phone ! On booking.com it says there would be hair drier and kettle in the room - this is a lie ! I asked for a kettle but they said there are none available and I can pay 25 NOK from the machine in the reception and this without any milk / creamer which was never available. The hair dryer was eventually supplied after I made a fuss. I paid for breakfast but never got to eat it as the restaurant did no open until 0700 and all the guests seemed to appear at that time - and as I had leave the hotel at 0715 I could not actually get to the tables to get anything than a quick coffee. I did ask whether they could start breakfast earlier or offer a packed breakfast but the staff only looked at me as if I had come from another world. I also wanted to check out the evening before as I had to leave at 0700 to catch my train but the hotel staff this wasn't possible until after 0300am but promised me that my bill would be ready to collect at 0700 . Another lie - it was not ready, then the staff got my details wrong twice and I missed my train. (Quite amazing the the hotel employs reception staff that can think that the UK is a district of the United States !).
I travel and stay in hotels every week and this must the worst In Norway for a 4 star hotel.
If you want a good hotel for business or pleasure GO SOMEWHERE ALMOST ANYWHERE ELSE.

Location & breakfast were good
We were told lift to upper floors , yet there were some steps. Moved room twice & 3rd time stayed there . No tea or coffee when we arrived in 3rd room & not told hotel was being renovated & this caused problems.
3.8
Central location Excellent breakfast. Ambience in the atrium area
The maze to get to our room This may change when building alterations are completed. The smokers standing around the front doors. The lack of English language channels on tv. The poor response to reboot the t v when it froze on a channel. I ended up fixing it myself by stacking chairs to reach the switch. The staff could be a little more helpful at this hotel

Nothing - the hotel was closed.
I received confirmation (via booking.com) for the Scandic Neptun for 26/27 and 28/29 March 2024 (two separate nights). However, when I arrived we found a note on the door that the Neptun was closed for Easter and all bookings had been transferred to the nearby Scandic Torget Bergen. This was the first I heard of this change (no communication from either booking.com or Scandic), and we had to walk with all our bags to our new hotel. The Torget was okay, but it would have been better to have received notification of the change in advance, so we could have travelled to the correct hotel directly rather than walking from one hotel to the other

Nothing - the hotel was closed
We arrived at the Neptun to find it was closed, and a sign on the door telling us that all reservations had been transferred to the Torget. We had confirmations from booking.com showing that we had booked the Neptun, but nothing either from them or the Neptun about the change. Most frustrating, as we then had to walk with all our bags to the other hotel.

Beliggenhet

Location and the breakfast , lobby is gorgeous , bright and relaxing!
The carpet need to be replaced, the electric sockets were under bedside table, inconveniently placed!

Hotel location is very strategic to reach our principal interests. The exceptional breakfast has helped start the day right. Room is quiet and comfortable, just perfect for rest and relaxation.
None at all.

The hotel was excellently-located for a stay in Bergen. The room was clean and comfortable. The original room we were given had a strong smell of drains but the staff on reception changed this immediately for us. The second room we were given was nicer but smaller than our original.
Breakfast was exceedingly busy. We tried to go at a time when it was quieter (ie before 9.00 am) but it was still very busy and one did feel hassled by all of the other guests. The hotel does have a corporate feel to it, even in the rooms.
3.8
Breakfast was great, the staff at reception was very nice and the location is very central.
Some room facilities were old and could have been cleaned a bit better.
3.8
The hotel is perfectly located close to the famous Bryggen area, just over the bay. We had a very nice breakfast. The rooms were clean and the bigger one had a very nice view from a window.
There is no parking place, we had to use a public parking house. There should have been some reduction of price if parking is registered in the hotel, but the terminal didn't work and hotel personnel wasn't able to fix it or help us to reach the customer support of the parking company.

Breakfast is great.
It was noisy. I had a hard time sleeping. When I finally fell asleep, I was awoken by two people fighting outside.

Close to the centre
Every two day's we have a problem with key-card. We cannot not open the door and every time I to reception to fix it.
It was a dust inside the lamp, under the bed and in the curtains.
The bed was creaked.

Nothing
Mai reservation was moved to another hotel a week before my arrival. The other hotel, same franchising, was a "star less".
3.8
location. Also nice family room layout, as a junior suite with living room where the two-year old slept, and a separate bedroom w/ queen size bed.
Problems getting cold tap water. It would mostly vary between war and hot when in cold position. Hot position gave consistently hot water.
3.8
Great location, great breakfast, great staffs.
The carpets in room and walkways look dirty and old.
