No volvería jamás a Holbox. Un desastre

Limpia y linda zona de playa.

Holbox en si está muy abandonada. No recomiendo ir. Mucha basura, playas sucias y toda la ciudad inundada. Hacia la zona de Punta cocos solo podes ir por la playa con el agua a las rodillas. Esta propiedad está a unos 4 cuadras del centro y tenés que llegar caminando entre los pozos de agua

Best hotel experience in Holbox!

This is my fourth trip to Holbox, and this is the most perfect spot! I'd stay here again and again! The location was so close to town yet quiet, and the staff went above and beyond! Edwin gave us the perfect room #11 that is closest to the beach and Freddy took care of every need I had from booking my round-trip transportation from the airport to renting our golf cart. Every single person who worked at the hotel and restaurant were so incredibly friendly! The onsite open-air restaurant made the most amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The food was delicious, and their mojitos and margaritas were the best I've ever had. The servers were amazing! By the way, this hotel sits at the spot where there are the most amazing sunsets on the island. The entire experience for me and my daughter could not have been any better! I've now found my favorite place on my favorite island!

Perfect, mellow vibe minutes from downtown but on a quiet stretch of the beach.

Beautiful view. Clean room. The hotel is extremely peaceful and quiet. Always have beds available on the beach.

Wifi could be better, but this seems to be a problem island wide.

Beautiful family friendly place

Directly at the beach. Great beach club, nice restaurant. Good breakfast. Friendly personal. May be one of the best family places on holbox. There is no loud music and no party people. It's quiet and beautiful..

Swimming pool is quite small.. and yes as anything else on holbox not cheap..

Save your money - stay on the south side of the town. Over priced and average.

The actual property is relaxed and well maintained. The cleaning staff were kind and did an excellent job each day.

The manager was beyond rude and obnoxious in her communication. She took no accountability for an error, proven through email correspondence, which cost me an additional $500. The beach / ocean in in front of the hotel, which is not managed by the hotel, had a mild stench of septic most days. On a day the power went out for 6 hours, the stench was unbearable. This was our family's second time to Hollbox and the year before was ideal and pristine. We will not be staying here again. Stay south of town.

Excellent property on the best section of beach on Isla Holbox

Excellent stay. Location is perfect on the best section of beach. Beautifully landscaped resort. We always felt safe and secure and staff were discreet but helpful and accommodating. Excellent service for breakfast, which was included in our room reservation. Access to the beach club made our visit perfect.

Beautiful and relaxing

Location on a quiet part of the beach. Sunbeds in private area back a bit from the sand. The sunbeds on the beach belong to the club providing breakfast in the morning. It is good custom to have a drink to use them. Free water fountain in garden and fridge in room. Large bedroom, clean with air-con and fan. Cleaned everyday. Breakfast good: fruits, coffee/tea, choice of eggs, toasts. Friendly service

beach not cleared of sargassum (other parts of beach was clear) and slightly rocky. Main beach 1000m to the right is better but busier and noisier. there is a track running between the beach and the hotel area where buggies run (but not frequently) Lack of storage for clothes in bedroom. some hooks on wall

Lovely 2 night stopover!

Beautifully maintained! Lovely staff!! The views from the balcony were great, as was the view when having breakfast in the morning! The loungers were comfy and atmosphere really relaxing. We arrived late on our first night and they kindly reopened the kitchen for us, which was very much appreciated!

Unfortunately, the showers were poor in both rooms, a water pressure issue. Perhaps a tea/ coffee maker in the room and hairdryer wd be good.

we loved the position of this hotel right on the beach but at the quiet end the small pool is great and a bonus breakfast was good and the staff were so friendly and helpful not far to walk to the main action if you want it and also the other way to see fabulous sea and birds we had a sea view room with two double beds was comfortable but unsure if I would pay extra again as the stairs are very steep and winding to get to our room the garden rooms seemed just as nice and were cheaper we would definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel

the steep stairs to our room although staff were very helpful and helped take our luggage up and also down from the room

PERFECT!

EVERYTHING was excellent! The staff was super friendly and keen to make our vacation just perfect! They went above and beyond for us. The hotel is ABSOLUTELY beautiful with a private balcony and beautiful sea views. The rooms are very beautifully designed and everything was very high quality (and very clean!) It is located a bit off the center. just far enough to be quiet, relaxing and private, but close enough to walk to the center for all the activities. JUST PERFECT. Breakfast at the hotel is really really great. you get to eat infront of the beautiful shore and watch the waves roll in and animals. We loved every second of our stay, and can't wait to come back here in the future.

Quiet beach getaway close to town but away from the partying.

The grounds were well kept- beautiful grass area with flowered bushes. Our room walked right onto the sand to their lounge chairs with grass shade umbrellas. A few steps further you could use the covered lounge chairs on the private beach from the beach club by purchasing a drink or some food- it was awesome. This hotel is VERY QUITE yet still a short walk from town. The sunsets right from the beach were perfect. This is not a place for loud music and drinking rather quiet relaxing atmosphere. No Children when I was there which was great.

Exceptional

Hotel Puerto Holbox was fantastic, just the kind of place we were looking for, quiet but near restaurants etc. The room was lovely, two large comfortable beds, spacious, mosquito nets on the door and with a clean bathroom. The garden was beautiful, lush, green and with an open feel to it (some hotels seemed very dark and crowded). The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Emily, who served breakfast, was truly a delight. I’d highly recommend it!!

No complaints at all. I wish we could have stayed longer

Perfect location on a beautiful, clean and peaceful beach, and close to town - really one of the best spots in Holbox. Breakfast is nice enough and the beach bar has good food and drinks throughout the day. Rooms are big and clean and staff is friendly.

Superb

Location and the beach that is much more silent (matching the name lf the beach Playa Silencio;)) and cleaner than most others. Great walking distance to downtown yet much more calm which is an awsome combination with kids. Reception was super helpful, especially Freddy who went an extra mile helping us coordinating transportation and trips during our stay in Yucatan

Perfect location and well kept clean and nice hotel

Perfect location - and clean stunning beach. Really good sized swimming pool compared to most on the island and always in the sun too (where as many are shaded). Huge room with comfy beds and fresh crisp white linen. Resident cats 🐱 and iguanas 🦎 which made it feel homely.

The breakfast (included in our room rate and served at the beach bar which is pretty much on the hotel property) was good enough but not many choices for 5 nights and not great for children. Could have done with some cereals, fruit and yoghurt for them.

We enjoyed our stay! Amazing location, helpful staff.

The part of the beach by this hotel was really lovely, as opposed to much more seaweed close by. Very centrally located, nice and helpful staff, pretty hotel. Overall we were very pleased!

The included breakfast wasn't amazing, but the location eating it right by the beach made up for that. And there could've been a few more places to put things in the room - it's a bit hard to unpack without closet, drawers, surfaces. But it was a comfortable room to share with a friend. Good air conditioning.

Good hotel in a bad location

very clean. very beautiful beachside and garden design friendly staff good internet nice pool and outdoor shower breakfast could be better but we liked it

Our room was supposed to be sea view but It wasn’t…Felt like scammed… Good hotel in a bad location, therefore full of seagrass The other side of the island has a beautiful beach without seagrass. If you don’t mind swimming in the pool only, stay here. Value for money 7 or less in my opinion. If this hotel was in the other side of the beach I would have given it a 9.
