Great room, comfy beds, great shower.
Nothing!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The lunch we had was exceptional for the price, and the manager checked up to make sure we were enjoying it, which we were! The room was large, as was the comfortable bed. It had basic amenities which were fine for our one night stay, but might not be suitable for a long stay. The bathroom was excellent with a rain shower.
Really, nothing.

Very professional, engaged and friendly staff. They all knew what they were doing. Service in all respects was excellent and provided with a smile. Breakfast was superb. Excellent walk-in shower.
The bed was very hard.

A handy hotel for the Tatton Park Garden Show and the new RHS gardens at Bridgewater. This is a dining hotel with some rooms and it is very popular in the evenings. There is plenty of parking at the rear.
Our room was comfortable and the bathroom well fitted out with an excellent large shower.
Cooked breakfast was made to order but there was only one cereal on offer. You could opt for a rather limited continental style breakfast. The staff were helpful and efficient.
Evening meals offered a good variety of interesting choices, with a wide range of wines but fewer beers.
Our room overlooked the ducting from the two extraction fans. They were noisy and it meant keeping the window closed. This has reduced the overall impression of the room.
Another chair would have been nice when two people are occupying.
Some of the public areas are showing signs of wear on paint and furnishings.

Large room and clean, breakfast good but sadly not included
Very bad experience with a party in the hotel which we were not told or warned about.
The music was so loud it felt as if it was in our room.
7.0
It was convenient and comfortable. The staff were friendly and breakfast was freshly made and good quality. We ate in the bar/restaurant on one evening and were impressed.
It is an inn and the rooms are above the bar so you get some noise until the bar closes. There was a wedding on the Saturday evening and that was quite loud.

Location was close for Manchester Airport. The room was nicely decorated.
We wanted a pieceful nights sleep before flying in the morning but the traffic on the nearby road was too loud, which can't be helped, but new windows would. The doors and the floorboards creaked, we could here other customers closing their doors.
Also, we was too tired to complain about this at the time when we arrived as we had driven quite far, but the bathroom was wet with a puddle of water around the toilet and shower. There was a towel in the shower that was also soaking wet and it looked like someone had used the shower before we arrived. We had to mop it all up with other towels.

location and gardens were lovely
Unfortunately no water supply on Sunday morning. Unable to take a shower or brush teeth, or make a drink. We had another engagement on Sunday which we were planning to go straight to, but we had to go home, shower and drive back on ourselves.

Nice decor, hot shower, comfy bed, good breakfast
A little tired and tatty in places, sofa bed provided in family room for the kids wasn’t as comfy as it might have been.

breakfast took a while to be served and wasn’t really hot

No heating to the bedroom. All radiators switched off. Came on in the morning so demonstrably controlled centrally.

Excellent staff. Helpful and professional
No heating in the morning. Rather than have another guest couple use the thermostat to turn the radiator off in their room, their complaint of it being too hot meant all the heating on that circuit was turned off... Not impressed
10.0
clean and nicely furnished. spacious and all the amenities needed for a short stay
6.0
Breakfast, comfy bed and bedding
Shower did not drain well and door didn't cover shower fully so this was not enjoyable. When I opened the bathroom door after the shower the hotel firealarm went off. I was in my towel embarrassed I would have to run out then a staff member came up and said it was a problem in our room the smoke alarm was too close to the bathroom so it happened after a shower??? Health and safety concern and very awkward and embarrassing.

Comfortable decent sized double room
Special mentions to Magda -who served us breakfast on Sunday morning.
Also manager who listened sympathetically to our complaint re the heating
Radiator was extremely hot overnight resulting in broken nights sleep.
Unable to turn control down so phoned (from corridor!)to night porter around 3 a m. to report;eventually radiator cooled -only slightly-but back on again at 6 :30 a m.
Manager came to see us at breakfast time and we told him of problem.
5.0
Location. The staff. Size, decor and condition of the room and bathroom
Heating wasn’t on any of the 3 nights I stayed and I had to ask for it to be turned on. Consequently, the room which was a great size with a great bathroom, felt cold and a bit damp. Soon heated up when the heating went on but not welcoming

It was a great stay. We wanted to book again but they were full. Shows how good is this little gem of a place.
Small maintenance issues but nothing major.
