Breakfast was freshly made with plenty of choices served by a friendly member of staff. We liked the setting and found our room to be comfortable and very convenient.

Big comfy bed
Slightly off the beaten track

It was what we expected; a nice old coaching inn, with good pub food for dinner, with rooms, in a very nice village. Covenient stop-over location for us on a trip from North East to Wales.
It was as advertised.
4.0
Good standard accommodation. Breakfast was generous and tasty.
2.5
Old coaching Inn with parking
Windows did not fit, noisy plumbing, no lift or help with luggage up lultiple sets of stairs.
Bed made up after first night but had obviously been sat on as cover wrinkled. Floor in bathroom left wet & towels not changed. Expensive for what was provided.
4.5
Right in the heart of Dunchurch which was ideal.
Maybe a fan could be installed or maybe air conditioning especially summer months.
3.5
Food was good (burger excellent)
Room was right on the road and so quite noisy.

The location in relation to the venue that I was working at. Friendly staff and very clean room.
I would have preferred a bath to a shower

Very cosy hotel, the room is comfortable and quiet, the ambience in the pub is great and staff are friendly.
3.5
The room was adequate with signs of wear but it was quiet away from the main town junction tucked in the back of the building.
The noise from upstairs despite there being nobody there according to the staff. midnight to 12:45 creaking floor boards gave it away. The booking system for food was open at the venue but fully booked on line??

Breakfast always a good start to the day
My steak dinner . It’s my second consecutive visit , both times my steaks weren’t cooked as I asked , a bit disappointing. My wife , who this time accompanied me , her evening dinner was poor quality too . A shame , I enjoy my monthly stay at Dun cow
5.0
the Dun Cow is a historical public house, warm atmosphere, and old style lodging which add to the charm of the place. we needed a place to crash for a night in between trips to visit distant parts of the family for Xmas. Staff were absolutely amazing - guy at checking and lady at breakfast were truly great, welcoming, genuinely helpful.
all was great - not that I didn’t like but the heat in the room can be really strong! don’t be fooled by the age of the building… you can have a roasting beach time whilst outside is minus 15!

location
The bedroom and shower room were cold as the heating radiators were not working - I turned up the thermostatic valve but still didn’t work even though the radiator’s on the public areas were lovely and warm - very disappointing and uncomfortable
