It's worth the money you spent. Provides basic accommodation but the best ocean view and easy access to the beach. We felt safe taking a walk at night.
Some of the bed sheets looked old and worn out and had some spots. Luckily we could leave that room as the spare room.

The location of our Beach chalet was perfect. We could watch the tide from our verandah. The beach was superb. The grounds were always policed and kept clean & tidy.
Mainly that we had to wash in salt water.

The location was very nice with the beach almost in our backyard and the houses surrounded by trees. The houses themselves were also a positive surprise as we expected very basic cottages but got proper well furnished houses. Also, as guests from Europe we found the monkeys that basically lived around us absolutely adorable, even though one baboon stole our grapes.
Maybe the opening hours of the reception, while the guards were always present many of them spoke limited English and so at times we couldn’t communicate with them properly. Also, while this is to be expected, there were quite a lot of ants so maybe a more permanent solution to them than spray could be useful.

An apartment in paradise! Charming, simple but with all commodities, very clean, wonderful staff, but most important of all situated in a beautiful garden right next to an absolutely stunning beach! If you love peace and quiet and enjoy nature and solitude this is perfect, but the next adventure is just one Tuk Tuk ride away ….

The location was great
(I have never written a bad review - but this experience was really poorly managed) Check-out was at 9:30am (which is pretty early) but the management said that we could take showers at the main lobby area in the afternoon if we wanted to go to the beach during the day (which of course we wanted to because we were on a beach vacation). We asked about towels, and they said of course. In the afternoon we came by to take showers before catching our flight, the person at the front desk said, "Start taking showers and I will grab the towels." My husband got in the shower and the guard came back 5 minutes later and said, "I don't have permission to let you use a towel." My husband was soaking wet in the shower, and we didn't have any towel.. it was so odd. Not to mention the toilet did not flush, and the dishes in the kitchen didn't seem very clean.

Gorgeous location right at the beach! The host was very friendly and helpfull with everything we needed! Definitely would come again.
The Place is a little old and run down. But considering the price you pay I think you get great value.

I had a lovely stay. The apartment was very spacious, well furnished, and sparkling clean. Perfectly soft pillows and a comfortable bed. Fast wi-fi, friendly and accommodating hosts, a very peaceful locale, right next to the beach.

The property was right on the beach with great access to local restaurants and beach activities. A short tuk tuk ride from Diani town, shops and airfield. It was quiet with beautiful gardens.
The photos of the property don’t reflect the current condition of the rental we we’re occupying. Overall, it looks a little tired, probably due to the slowdown of tourism, but with a small amount of investment of time, it would be a great option for budget conscious travellers.
We were there at the end of rainy season and unfortunately had an issue with water ingress from the roof in 2 separate rooms of the apartment. We mentioned it to the owner when the leaks were noticed,so perhaps this is no longer an issue.
The kitchens were tired and needed replacing as well as not cleaned sufficiently enough between visitors. Not all the equipment in the kitchen was fully functional nor was it clean, and the doors entering the rear of the property did not feel secure.
This could be an amazing property and I would imagine with a new uptake In tourism and revenue , the issues highlighted will be addressed.

I like the location and
Its proximity to the beach.
We traveled as a group of girls for girls trip and we rented the cottage with a living room, kitchen and three bed room. We stayed for three nights. We are a group of friends since college and this trip was long anticipated trip for over 10 years. We picked this cottage for its location and its price however what we have experience through out our stay was horrible. As we are in vacation, we stayed at the cottage and enjoyed the beach as well as went exploring other places in Diani beach. Fortunately, one of our friend cousin was also vacationing in Diani with his frends. On the first day, we went out clubing and came back late and our friend cousin accompanied us for safety. At the gate, we were told that were not allowed to bring guests. We asked that as a guest of the cottage, we will take responsibility and they can register their ID information for security purpose. We were told by the guards that they were given instruction by the manager that no guest allowed to bring visitors. Regarding the registering at the gate or reception visitors, the guards said the reception only works fron 8 am To 5pm and registration could only happen at those times. Fortunately, our friends had their own accommodation and were there to make sure we get to hotel safe, so they went back. We thought this all was misunderstanding of the guards about the instructions from the manager. On the second day, as the beach from the cottage was beautiful, we invited our frends to hang out in our cottage. We were at National park during the day and we came to the hotel at about 5 pm. Again, the guards stopped us at the gate and told us our guest are not allowed in. We asked again if our guest to be registered and let to come in. The guards told us that is not gonna happen. We were confused, if the issue is security they should register and keep nessary information (ID or Passport) and allow their guests to bring them in.
