Hotel gelegen in goede buurt

Het hotel is goed gelegen. Dichtbij het station en op 10 à 15 min van alle leuke restaurantjes of eventuele bezienswaardigheden.

De eerste nacht kwamen we op een kamer terecht waarbij we die avond geen oog hebben dichtgedaan. Het gebouw heeft slechts enkele beglazing, dus je hoort alles. De radiotoren hangen buiten onder de raam en de moskee hoor je heel hard in de nacht. We hebben dit aangegeven, en kregen een nieuwe kamer. Hier ook nog steeds veel geluid. Het personeel sprak gebrekkig Engels, niet handig. De hygiëne kon ook beter, vooral de badkamer.

It was close to the center. The room was clean. They gave us a double bed room instead of singel beds as was on the confirmation. Because of a misunderstanding.

There were ants in the room and we didn’t had a nice view. They didn’t do any special decoration in the room because it was our honeymoon trip. We informed them in advance. They told us afterwards that we should pay for that request.

This is not a 4-star hotel. Closer to 3 stars. Awful takeaway breakfast and poor facilities (e.g. sink).

Location is excellent. 15 minutes away in a straight line from Malioboro Street and close to several tourist hotspots. Also across the street there is an excellent (and extremely cheap) Caffe/Bowl restaurant that may be appealing to Western tourists.

This is not what I consider a 4-star hotel. Closer to a 3-star or 3.5 at most. The sink in the bathroom was not in good shape. It wouldn’t drain water normally, as if maintenance had not been good. The two days we had breakfast included we needed it for takeaway. Good thing: they had it even at 3.45 am. Bad thing: the breakfast was awful. No coffee. Two slices of non-toasted bread with something ressembling jam that could not be spread normally (it came in a plastic bag, not sure how we were supposed to spread it?) Only highlight was a (one) boiled egg. All the rest was sub-par with what one expects from a 4-star hotel. Pretty uncomfortable (no plastic knife/spoon, seriously?) and untasty overall. Also we didn’t have enough body wash soap nor toilet paper rolls, which we had to explicitly request. Also our room’s orientation was towards a neighboring house/room from which we could see people in their sofas. Not pleasant. We had to “live” with our blinds down all the time.

Maybe opening the breakfast service at 6am rather than 6.30am would be helpful for those catching intercity trains

Cost effective and valued hotel.

Hotel provided good buffet breakfast with variety of Indonesian and Western food. Just walking distance , there are also a lot of local food. It is located one of the main street of the city, t is easy to move around by car/taxi.

loving the design of my room. super clean, strong wifi signal & super comfy bed. staffs were amazing, friendly & helpful. hotel is centrally located with only walking distance to malioboro. lots of eatery near the hotel too.

best place to sleep for your connection to Java volcanoes and Borobudur

very helpful staff, take-away breakfast, massage in your room, restaurant with many Western options, comfy bed

around 5pm, we could hear the Muslim prayer even with earplugs, humidity in the room but because of the climate

The hotel is niceand the room nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

The locación is good because the hotel is close to Malioboro Street, and most things are within walking distance. However, it is right next to a mosque, and prayer in the morning (5am) woke me up everything as it echoes a lot and can be very loud.

great location. friendly and nice staff. clean room. there even was an earthquake when we were there and the staff made sure we were safe.

breakfast had too few choices. plus my room was near the pool so we could hear kids screaming in the evenings. the room needs better soundproofing.

Location

It was a smelly room. Some cooking smell was coming from the windows. The water drain in the sink did not drain properly. And the room was so close to mosque and was so noisy especially in the morning.

the bed was comfortable

they give you just one towel per persona, if you need one more you have to pay. there is no hair drier and it’s close to a mosque, so in the middle of the night we were disturbed by the high volume of the prayer, we ask at the reception to change room or if they have some ear plug but they say that the hotel was fully booked and they have no air plugs. the breakfast was so crowed and no much occidental options.

Simple and Modern Hotel, easy walk to Malioboro and Keraton, quick hassle free check in / out, polite mannered staff, clean tidy room and bathroom.

we got the corner room, i think it was smaller than ordinary, or maybe it just building structure compromise. The room was gloomy, sorry not my taste, i suppose it was designed for best relaxation
