Nice view of town from the breakfast cafeteria
The breakfast itself very basic. No ham offered in the omelette

The hotel was cozy, with a lot of charm. Very clean and centrally located. We appreciated having filtered water and a lovely breakfast. We will recommend to others!

Nice, simple breakfast in open terrace. Nice, comfortable open lobby. Nice, large, rustic, clean room with a view of the mountain.
No internet. No support AT ALL after 10pm. No restaurant.
Many of the areas, tavern, restaruant, etc... that are advertised were not available "due to renovations". But there were no renovatoins going on, they were just shut down.
I left my luggage there to go to MachuPicchu. My return train was delayed, I advised the hotel I would arrive late. Thet acknowledged rewceeipt of message. I arrived around midnight, they would not open the door. After I rung the doorbell many times they disconnected the doorbell. I called the tourist police, they didn´t answer. Then I called the local sector police station for support, they said they´d send a police car but nobody showed up. After one hour out in the cold I sent an urgent message to Booking. the hotel owner, a Frenchman, answered the door within 2 minutes, in his pajamas, angry and harrassed me for being late, telling me I'm inconsiderate and should know there´s nobody there after 10pm. I explained the train was delayed and that i had advised them immediately. He mumbled and harrumphed something and then said ok, it´s not my fault. We spent over one hour out in the cold, my wife, my friend and I developed a sore throat and sniffles the next day. I have never been treated so poorly by a hotel owner/manager in my life and I´ve visited 58 countries and been to some modest hotels in challengingn countries in L.America, Asia and Africa.

This is a beautiful hotel with great staff and amazing decor, courtyard and patio. The location too is fantastic: easy walking distance to the city center and on the way to Saqsaywaman.
One cautionary note: there are no elevators and many of the rooms are upstairs. Also, some of the rooms have skylights, which is great during the day - the rooms are bright - but skylights do not have blinds. Bring your own night marks unless you want to be awake at the crack of dawn.
The biggest downside is that there is no hot water or heating available during the day. And, it gets cold in June! Hot water tends to be in short supply in the mornings and late in the evening. And bathrooms are poorly designed. They have heaters but these stay on only for a couple minutes - never enough to make much of a difference - and with no doors, the heat quickly dissipates into the main bedroom.

Me encantó el ambiente, la decoración y la comodidad de las habitaciones. También la atención del personal y el desayuno super rico!
Quizá poner un radiador más, porque hacía bastante frío en el cuarto.

We loved that breakfast was included
Laundry service was a bit expensive.
Also, not always someone at the front desk. The girl who was running it was very good, but there were a few times we needed assistance.

We felt like home. Warm welcoming, good breakfast, fantastic location, really nice buildings and rooms, great services available. Very quiet.
The power being cut off when leaving the room so devices cannot charge up while we were out.

We enjoyed your sdue to the clean hotel with a comfortable big bed, tasty breakfast options, and excellent value for money. The location near the main square and the friendly, welcoming staff also contributed to our positive experience.
One aspect you did not like about your hotel stay was the scheduled hot water and heating availability, which was limited to specific hours (5 pm to 10 pm and 5 am to 10 am). This posed a challenge when you had early morning plans for tourist attractions like Rainbow Mountain or late returns from Machu Picchu.

It’s an exceptionally beautiful and stunning place once you step through the simple door off the side street and through the wall. You can see and feel the 30 years of devotion by the owner here. I cancelled my other hotel to continue staying here

We loved the breakfast in the cafeteria glasshouse. Location a short walk downhill to Plaza de Armas (but a toughie on the return). Quiet. We had a 2-level room with bed upstairs. Amazing ceiling. Not good for tall people!! Staff helpful and friendly. Good price. Closed all February. Would stay again.
The stairs from bed to our bathroom- easy to hit your head if tall.
