Sehr gutes Hotel in Shenzhen

Frühstück war großartig. Viel Auswahl und alles sehr lecker. Sogar der Kaffee hat gut geschmeckt, was ich sonst nirgends in China erlebt habe.

I like it overall

Location is perfect. Proximity to eatery places. Friendly and helpful staff. One of the best beds I ever slept on.

LED TV is old and small. Lighting a little insufficient. Furniture is a tad old. Medicore sound proof.

Everything was perfect the manager on duty Miranda (not sure about the spelling) and her staff were amazing people, helpful and friendly every day. My family and I thoroughly enjoy our stays at the Shenzhen Donghua, an IHG Hotel in China. The hotel provides a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that suits our preferences. The excellent service, well-appointed accommodations, and convenient amenities contribute to a delightful experience for our family. Whether it's the attentive staff, the quality of the facilities, or the overall hospitality, the Shenzhen Donghua consistently meets and exceeds your expectations, making it a preferred choice for your family's accommodations in Shenzen.

They canceled the English tea and buffet dinner one night without informing us.

Excellent staff and service, highly recommended.

Great buffet breakfast, staff are very attentive to your needs and ensure you are well looked after. Also assist you with finding a table during busy periods.

Great Option , but requires more livelier restaurants and vegetarian food options

Front office staff was very supportive and go out of the way to help

More livelier atmosphere in the lobby with sitting arrangement and more restaurants are required , it's very dull, atleast coffee shop should be 24/7 and vegetarian food options .

Reception was faultless

Beautiful decor and lots of amenities in our room.

Sadly, after we got into bed I realised that the room smelled of mold. I was tired after a long day and did not complain. However, the strong smell of mold made me ill with congestion and rhinitis for three days.

Warm hospitality! Good location and good service!

I would say the service was excellent. The front desk lady was very professional and kind. Especially thanks to the F&B Director Mr. Raymond. I was surprised that his position still doing the service to the guest at the coffee shop. We were in a hurry to have a quick lunch before the meeting. Just asked him about the wine for lunch. ( we are wine professionals) He was very kind to let us taste it before confirming the order. After that the salad was delayed and we didn't have time to enjoy it. He offered us a small fruit plate to apologize for it.

In general, the room is a bit old with some marks in the toilet.

Comfortable room, amazing value but don't expect to be blown away or anything

The Queen room with the couch is pretty great for the price, no complaints about the size or value! Bed very comfortable! Good temperature control. Breakfast had a wide selection of Western/Chinese food, and is VERY reasonably priced for what you get. TV has plenty of international channels.

You need to ask to get toothbrushes (not provided by default). A lot of the TV channels had bad reception (fuzzy). Although there was a wide selection at the breakfast buffet, I felt like they don't replace the food very often, so by late morning a lot of the food was cold/old/not much left.

Clean and cozy, but location is a bit awkward

Bed super comfortable, overall very clean and well maintained. Lots of restaurants and malls nearby. Room was cozy. Polite staff. Great TV channel selection (lots of international channels).

The windows in each room are pretty small (don't expect floor-to-ceiling windows), so it isn't the brightest. Cozy at night though. They only gave us one toothpaste and one robe for two people. The hotel is awkward to get to - taxis will drop you off a 2-3 minute walk away (unless you specifically instruct them otherwise) because the road to the entrance is narrow and awkward for cars.
