Good food, clean hotel, good location if you are looking for a break around Lake Sarcoma area.
Staff speak little English. When we tried to load our bags into our little rental Toyota when leaving, a staff valet drove up with a big Lexus and refused to move it forward from the front porch, so we had to lug our bags a short distance. He insisted that the other customer was coming but by the time we loaded our bags and left, that car was still parked there. Disappointing snobbish attitude. Futon mattresses were also the hardest we had encountered on this trip.

Staff was exceptional polite and excellent service
7.0 / 10.0
The location is absolutely wonderful, with awesome views from the room. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, trying their level best with limited English to my ingnorant Japanese.
The buffet (both breakfast and dinner) is purely Japanese style and does not cater to more western/international taste. Being a remote location with nothing nearby, it is a challenge for non-japanese travellers like ourselves.
Our room had the wash basin outside of the toilet inside the room next to the bed. This was very awkward and risked making the bed area wet. Very poor design.
