A gas barbeque is on the covered porch. And, the biggest, best, least crowded ski area in North America, Big Sky is out your front door!
Ski Access
You can ski directly to our garage door from the top of any of 8 ski lifts serving Lone Mountain. There are 2 routes to our neighborhood. Both branch off of Lower Morningstar ski run. A skier that knows these runs can ski nonstop to the house. A slower or less proficient skier will have to pole and slide for approximately 100 yards on either route. A complete description of these routes are in the unit.
There are 4 options for getting to the base area from the house.
First option. Walk 100 feet to the end of driveway, Access the ski return from White Otter lift line run, walk on the fairly level run for 250 feet, put on skiis, coast 250 feet, walk 50 feet, load White Otter double chairlift, Ride to top, then ski to base area. Total time 15 to 20 minutes.
Second option. Walk 150 feet to bus stop. Get on free mountain loop bus which runs every half hour from 854 am until 10pm. Ride bus for 6 minutes to base area. Walk 400 feet to Swiftcurrent or Ramcharger lifts. Total time 15 minutes.
Third option. Walk 600 feet from our house, through the Cedar Creek Condominiums parking lots, around building 7, to Sitting Bull Road. Catch continuous parking lot shuttle at satellite lot closest to Cedar Creeks. Ride to base area. Walk 300 feet to Swiftcurrent or Ramcharger lifts. Total time 20 minutes.
Fourth option. Drive car 2 minutes to free skier parking lot. Catch parking lot shuttle to base area. Walk 300 feet to Swiftcurrent or Ramcharger lifts. Total time 15 minutes.
The advantage of our location is that you have options. If you decide to enjoy some Apre Ski cocktails at the base area and the lifts are closed for the day, The free mountain loop bus can take you home. If you want to go to the base area in the evening to shop, dine or bar hop, the free mountain loop bus is handy. If there is a big powder dump and the walk along the ski return run would be daunting, relax, just take the options 2. 3 or 4. It's nice to have options.

We spent a week at Ski Heaven for our spring break and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the living room recliners, hot tub, large showers, and big views of falling snow and pine trees. The walk to the White Otter lift only takes a few minutes, but the kids preferred the walk to the free resort shuttle. The ski back to the house was easy and we saw a fox on the trail the first day. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Bob's house is in a great location, was spotless clean, and very well appointed. We had a great vacation in MT and the stay made it that much better!

The house was just as advertised. There was plenty of room for 9 adults with a well-stocked full sized kitchen, hot tub, and a nice wood burning fireplace. Bob was a great host and checked in with us a couple of times. There was a baby moose bedded down in the woods right outside the main window one morning which was really fun to watch. I would definitely rent Bob’s place again in the future.

For the past 7 years we have rented vacation homes in Big Sky, Snowmass and Jackson Hole with 2 families. This home worked out exceptionally well for our group consisting of 2 couples with 3 kids/teens each. The ski access was decent for early season and the setting of the home felt very private with an amazing view! Bob was very responsive and kind enough to check in us via text. We look forward to staying here agian.
Sincerely,

Mom and Dad hosted family vacation for 3 grown sons and their wives and a 17 month old precious grandson. Location was perfect for a ski in/ski out day on the mountains. The house provided plenty of spacious, comfortable rooms and open space. Kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs. Enjoyed the use of the extra refrigerator in the garage. The hot tub was an added bonus after a full day of skiing and beach towels were thoughtfully provided in a big basket by the exit door to the hot tub. There was a nice selection of board games and books to enjoy also.
Bob was very attentive to our pre-trip questions and questions once we arrived on site. Would definitely stay here again!!

Overall I could not be happier that we had stayed at this location. It is a beautiful house and the owner was great to work with. A few minor issues that were resolved quickly and left us all happy. While it is a Ski in and out, it is a bit of a uphill walk to the lift and had to pump our poles to get back, just be aware. Overall it was a fantastic house and we enjoyed it immensely and would definitely stay here again.

The home is exactly as advertised, that is to say GREAT! Ski in ski out was tremendous. Had a potential hiccup with the hottub and Bob notified us in advance of our stay. He was very collaborative to figure out a work around and ultimately fixed the issue before our stay which was greatly appreciated. Tub was fantastic, place was fantastic. Thank you, Bob!

This rental is Fantastic! The views & location are awesome, this stay was stress-free. We all got snowboards & were able to practice on ski-in ski-out trail right next to house. Thank you for the use of sleds, the kids had plenty room to use them by the house also. Found that grocery prices at Roxy’s Market was not that bad very accommodating.

We had a great time celebrating the holidays a bit early this year at Bob’s spot. It was our first time in Big Sky and we could not have had a better experience. The house fit four different couples perfectly and was very easy to manage ski on ski off. It was great to have the fire place and hot tub to warm up with these temps!
Bob went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to go back!

Excellent
The house was very clean and well appointed. Beds and linens were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/cups/utensils but you’ll probably need to bring oils/condiments. Location was great even though it was too late in the season for ski in/ski out. So appreciate the touches of hot tub towels right at the back door, lots of firewood for fireplace, and quality hand soap in bathrooms. Bob is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Oh, and I appreciate that there’s not an extensive check-out/departure process. Very, very pleased with our stay. Thanks!

Perfect Getaway!
The house was perfectly set up for our group of 6. The beds were comfy, the fire warm and we got to watch 5 inches of snow fall from the hot tub and the big windows in the living space. Bob was very friendly and helpful. Only item to note is service was very spotty but great internet. Have a great time here!

Great property for our family ski trip
The property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to accommodate our family for a ski trip to Big Sky. Great views of the mountain from the master suite and great views behind the property from the kitchen/dining/living area. Entry and exit were a breeze. Ski out required a little effort but certainly doable (we did this a few days). Ski in literally brings you to the front door (read the instructions and review the map beforehand).

What a House - What a Resort!!
This house was absolutely out of this world. Very luxurious and spacious with all you would want and a great location for ski-in/out. We were 6 guys on a ski trip and we had loads of room and the a great time. The resort of Bog Sky was very impressive also.
Thanks bob

We loved our stay at Ski Heaven! We traveled from Nashville for a long weekend of family time and skiing. The weather was awesome with lots of new snow and great skiing conditions. The house was perfect for us with plenty of room and a well appointed kitchen, We cooked lots of meals during our stay and even enjoyed the grill one night! There is ample seating for larger groups (we had 6 adults) in the living area and the bedrooms were spacious and comfy! We will definitely be back! Amazing accommodations
We had an amazing stay! The lift was very close to the cabin but it is slightly uphill to get to it. So beware of that. Bob was in constant communication with us the entire time and was willing to make any accommodations we needed. They have sleds and snow shoes which was great for the kids! We had ten people and 2 kids and the place was plenty big for all of us! The master bedroom was huge! So enough room for a pack and play or even an air mattress! We had a great time staying here and when it was split between ten people it was very affordable!

Wonderful winter wonderland
What a great place! Perfect for 4 couples, each has comfortable bedroom, a roomy social area (and super cozy chairs), along with well stocked kitchen. Ski in/out requires a little effort, but is totally doable and an easy ride home on cat tracks...the hot tub caps it off. We'll all happily stay here again!

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful few days in Big Sky! The house is as pictured. The bedrooms were charming and the beds were very comfortable The kitchen is very well appointed with just about everything you need to cook in! The living rooms was so lovely and relaxing. Skiing in is easier than skiing out but we managed well without the shuttle. Bob was extremely responsive to any questions! We would definitely stay again!

Great Stay for our Group at Big Sky
The property was great for our group this year. The kitchen was fully stocked. The hot tub was one of the larger and nicer tubs we have had during our annual trips. Bob the owner was very helpful and communicative whenever we had an issue. If there is one recommendation I could make it would be to invest in a smart tv in the living room. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in Big Sky
We thoroughly enjoyed this property, super clean, upscale and Bob is great. We would happily stay here again.
We loved the view from the living room, you look out over a nice valley and just see nature. It’s beautiful!
There is a lift that’ll take you to the mountain that’s a 5 minute walk from the house, about 20 minutes to the lodge. It was hard to tell from the listing how close it was to the lodge.
