Ski Access:
Conveniently located near the foot of the Bear Back Poma Lift, Black Eagle Lodge offers superb ski access suitable for all levels of skiers. Bear Back Poma anticipated open date is early December, but is dependent on snow conditions. The property is not ski-in/out until the Poma opens.
Ski Out:
Step out the garage, go straight ahead to connect to the Bear Back Poma. At the top of the Poma, you will ski a groomed access run to Ramcharger and Swift Current in the base area.
Ski In:
Intermediate and Expert can ski Silverknife to Bear Back Poma. Follow the Poma down, but don't go all the way to the bottom. You will see ski tracks to the left where people have cut to the left and back towards the units. This will make it easier to get closer to the garage of the unit. Beginners should ski out the Summit Hotel and then ski the road back to the unit.
Note: During periods of melting you may need to walk from the unit approximately 75 yards to the Poma Lift.

The location is great! Easy walk to the base. You can ski down to condo, includes a slight traverse on skis behind condo buildings or take your skis off and walk a few a few minutes on side road. Hot tub has great view of peak. The unit could use some updates, specifically the dishwasher and washing machine. It was easy to contact the managing office, who responded quickly.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this condo! The location was perfect, with very easy ski in/ski out. The space was really well laid out for two families. We would definitely love to return. Thank you!

Excellent location and beautiful condo. We would have liked to be able to watch a show but the TV only supports DirectTV. In 2023 all TVs should be smart. Too much taxidermy, poor kitchen supplies but a super location and great fireplace.

Black Eagle 32 was an outstanding place for a family of four (including 2 kids) plus grandparents. The layout and size of house was perfect so we could all have our separate areas and were not on top of each other. The house was very well cleaned when we arrived and the amenities like kitchen equipment were great to have. The two things that stood out most were: First the communication with the property managers was easy. They were very communicative and responsive throughout our entire stay. There were a few minor things that we wanted them to know about. They quickly took care of those with no issues. Second, the location is outstanding for skiing at Mountain Village. I don't think you could get any closer and more convenient and stay at a place that would house a "bigger" group of 6+. An easy three minute walk to the base, which was great with kids and wintry weather. Overall, highly recommend.

Family Vacation
The pictures don't do the justice. This cabin was unreal and the proximity to the ski lifts in only a 2 minute walk. We will not hesitate to book another stay in Black Eagle 32

The home is beautiful but not sure of the “true” ski in & out situation. The biggest issue upon arrival was there was gum ( yes chewed gum ) in my sheets in the master bedroom 🤮. They changed the bedding but I was a little turned off!
Location to the mountain village is great.
I would say that someone should look into the heating and hot water...... the master was 1000 degrees at all time no matter what we did to the settings and the upstairs was freezing.. finally heated upstairs but needed windows open at night to sleep comfortably.. also holy hot water like burn your hands situation. That should be addressed before someone sued ( McDonald’s coffee 🤔 )

Amazing Place
Loved the property. Their were only 4 of us so we had ooodles of space. Loved the spa & true ski in (and a very small walk to the lift!).
Everything worked as expected. If I had to find fault, I would say that the lighting was a little dim for us (maybe that's a US thing!). All in all, I'd come back in a heartbeat! Thanks soo much!

The fireplace screen, glass doors and log grate were broken and pose a liability for occupants and unit. The hot tub seat jets did not work, the garage door was broken for 4 days leaving our vehicle outdoors and second vehicle parked 5 units down the street. With the garage door broken we had to use the front door which only had one key that worked after minutes of fiddling to get in, all the spare keys failed for the maintenance Personel.

FAVORITE place EVER.
This is our third year renting a Black Eagle Condo over Thanksgiving. They are beautiful. The garage is stocked with firewood, there is great storage for ski gear, the kitchen is beyond equipped, there's plenty of space for everyone, the lifts are easily walkable, and the hot tub is always ready and waiting for us. This year we left behind our daughter's beloved teddy bear and the next day the amazing staff had taken a picture of him to show her he was okay and had him on his way home via FedEx. Black Eagle Condos have become our family's happy place. Fantastic work, Big Sky Vacation Rentals!

Gorgeous!
We had a fabulous time in Big Sky. This property is exceptional. The location couldn't be better. The views out the massive windows are breathtaking. There wasn't anything lacking in the townhome. Love, love the welcome basket with paper towels, laundry soap... Check in and out was the easiest anywhere that we have ever been. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Bathrooms are stocked with paper goods and shampoo/conditioner. Plenty of towels even for the inviting hot tub. We actually had some warm weather so we welcomed the oscillating fans that were available in each closet! No detail missed! Convenient walking distance to restaurants, small market and resort. For hikes don't miss Beehive Basin and Ousel Falls. In summer make sure to take the Lone Peak Expedition. Chair lift, jeep ride and gondola ride to get to the top of the Lone Peak Mountain. Well worth the $$. Soldiers Chapel worth a stop to pay respects to our heroes. We took a day trip to Yellowstone. Bit disappointed in Ol' Faithful but off the bucket list. Ted Turners property about 30 minutes away. Cars are allowed to drive but not stop on his property. Saw some of his bison. More to do but we ran out of time. Were happy to come back to the property each day. I can imagine how wonderful it is in the winter watching the snow thru the windows and while sitting by the fire. Perfection!

Kitchen and living areas are great. Wonderful view of mountain.
The beds were comfortable but bedspreads were ridiculously heavy and not practical as a bed cover. Also, topper on king bed on first floor was several inches (20 inches) narrower than mattress.
Kitchen was very well appointed and a perfect space for several people to work simultaneously in preparing meals and cleaning up.
The proximity to the slopes was convenient. We were able to ski on the road to the Poma lift. Had to side step about 20 feet up a slight incline to reach the lift. Alternately, we could walk the distance carrying skis in about 10 minutes. The ski-in was easy for a competent intermediate skier.
Loved the convenience of the heated garage and washer and dryer.
The property was clean and well maintained. Would consider staying again.

Great property, with spacious living areas, and easy access to slopes. Perfect for two families.
We enjoyed the easy walk to the mountain village, for shopping and dining. If renting skis, use Lone Peak, as they have some great current ski demos. Ski out we skied to the poma lift which opens st 8:45, so you are at the main lifts when they open at 9:00. Ski in, we took the path behind the Cabin restaurant through the Arrowhead walkway down to road and then right to our garage. Heated garage with code was great. A bench in the garage would be a nice add. Bedding wasn’t the best. Pizza carry out from Andiamos was a nice option. If using spa, make your reservations before you arrive, as it was booked. Would definitely recommend this beautiful condo, large windows, amazing views, and easy access to the slopes and village. Has everything you need.

Couldn’t have been better!
Our party of 6 became a party of 8 and all were accomodated so well. There was everything we needed! House quite soundproof, fireplace amazing, proximity to skiing beyond stellar and the house itself was just perfect!!!

Perfect for our stay
Wonderful property - the teenagers shared the loft/upstairs which left us parents with a quiet relaxing main floor. Ski in and ski out access was perfect - Rather than taking the mentioned return route, we skied in through the Arrowhead Condos from the bottom of Silver Knife, followed their “road/walkway” and came out between the back of the condo and the first Arrowhead garage - no need to pole at all. Access to poma lift was convenient and easy. Obviously early and late season ski in/out access could be more problematic. It was an easy walk to the mountain village for restaurants and shopping.
Boot dryer was great not only for boots but gloves and helmets as well.
Well appointed kitchen - we had a couple of meals in and had access to all tools that we needed which made for some great elk burgers on the grill.
Hot tub is private with easy access and a beautiful view of sunset over the peak after a full day of skiing.
We have stayed in many different properties on and off the resort over the years and this has been by far our favorite and received high ratings from the teens as well. Looking forward to our next trip and will definitely stay in the Black Eagle area again.

perfect family accomodations!
We so enjoyed our stay at #32! We were so close to the Village where we took our grandchildren for a ton of fun for a whole day. We were just around the corner to the lake. The windows that looked out to the mountains were a wonderful surprise! This condo was just perfect for all of us.
