Ok but owners not friendly.

Location is close to city center. A bit noisy due to the close highway.

The window’s curtains in the bedroom were broken and, even if asked, they weren’t replaced or fixed. Also we asked to use the charger in front of the owners house for our hybrid car and they said no.

Anbefales til tross for avstanden fra sentrum

Nydelig utsikt, gode fasiliteter og mye ekstra som f.eks tørkeskap, vaskemiddel, stearinlys, hdmi kabel for å koble egen pc til tv'n. Gratis parkering rett foran huset. Ren og koselig leilighet.

Leiligheten ligger et stykke unna sentrum. Det er ca 10 min kjøring med bil. Den fine utsikten kompenserer for litt lengre avstander. Inne i leiligheten savnet vi et ordentlig spisebord. Det var ikke nok stoler heller for oss 4.

Great apartment with a terrace and a beautiful view.

The apartment is located in close proximity to the center of Bergen, on a hill. There is a bus stop in front of the building. The apartment is very clean, with a large terrace with a beautiful view. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Hassle-free code check-in. I recommend.

Large sized clean appartment, well equipped and lovely decorated. The view from the terrace on the bay of Bergen is just gorgeous. Easy to reach the location via bus E16, the stop is a few meters from the appartement. We also hiked to the city center, its a one hour walk and you can avoid the noisy main road by walking through gamble bergen and use parallel roads afterwards.

No real dining table, but that was ok for us to just use the bar stools. No big deal.

Best Bergen view with countryside to city centre in 10 mins

The outstanding view - even on a rainy day this apartment is stunning. It is closer to the centre than it appears. We got a light railway from the airport to the centre and then a taxi. I wish I had known the frequency of the bus that stops pretty much outside the door - 16E. It’s great! (No 4 is also available down the bottom of the hill and is is a 5 min walk away - it looks like the airport bus is also at the stop). If you buy a Bergen pass the light railway and bus is free (the taxi cost over 350K for 7 mins!). I would really recommend the pass as it also gives you access to the KODE galleries and discount on the fjord tours (both highly recommended). There are a couple of shops about 5 mins walk down the hill - although check opening times. If you arrive late they will be closed so it would be best to pick up something in the airport of city centre unless you are planning on going out. Across the road you can access marked routes over some fantastic hills, passing small lakes - get great views. And if you really want (and have a head for heights) walk down the steps into Bergen. The apartment has everything that you need to prepare and cook, although we noticed (as per other reviews) that there are only two working stools at the breakfast bar unless you sit on the sofa. We sat outside at the table a couple of times - despite the weather; it is quite sheltered. The beds are high but super comfortable and again you get the most amazing views. The owner is very fast at communicating and is easy and friendly to contact. Top tip - take a torch (we were there in winter). The entrance to the apartment is to the left (there are two doors) and we could not work out how to put the outside light on therefore a torch was handy to walk round the pathway and put in the door code.

Just a few small niggles and probably useful for other travellers: It would be good to have some information on local transport, walks, shops, takeaway delivery etc in the apartment. A couple of food/coffee basic items for late arrivals would be handy. The sink in the utility room is not connected to a waste pipe (although has a bucket) underneath. And this is perhaps something that is prevalent in Norway, there is large lip into the bathroom that you have to step over etc - they are high! We had a few stubbed toes but got used to them quickly (the steps not the stubbed toes!). If you have access requirements or mobility issues this may be a problem.

A great apartment with a fantastic and beautiful view of the Harbour. The furnishings are modern and we found everything that we needed there to make our stay comfortable. Communications with our host, Kristin, was good and clear and she was very helpful.

a little improvements would make the place better

1.Amazing view 2. Spacious apartment

1. The bed is a little too high so my knee got scratched while going down from the bed. 2. Pillows need new ones as the current pillows do not have good support anymore. 3. Bathroom shower should have compartment to put shampoos or bottles. 4. Since cleaning fees are included in the booking, we should not have to remove bed linens prior to checking out.

Exceptional apartment with a gorgeous view over Bergen

The apartment was exceptional. It came with a huge terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast every morning with a beautiful view over Bergen.

The price is a bit higher due to the fact that you cannot walk to the city centre.

An employee you don't want to see again

This place is well equipped with modern facilities. But that's it. As we left the house, I have to say that our last memories of the trip from the owners and staff there were disappointing. On the day of reservation, they asked us to take out the trash, empty the refrigerator, and put the bed covers and towels in the bathroom when we left. So, after doing all these things, we left. But the reaction they gave us after leaving was very unpleasant. Even though the check-in time they promised was late, we understood. The living room sofa smelled bad, but we understood. We were a family of 4, but there were not enough chairs there, but it was understandable. But the response I got back was really disappointing. It was very disappointing that they didn't trust the guests and didn't apologize for doubting us and only paid attention to the rating of the property. So I can't give a good review here.

Amazing holidays close to both nature and vibrant city, that you will love from the first site

Fantastic location, amazing view from the terrace, amiable host. The place is well connected with the city: a bus stop nearby and 15 minutes to the city center. There are hiking routes and a magnificent lake right behind the houses. The apartment has everything you need and is very nicely decorated. We felt at home. We are very grateful for such beautiful and warm accommodation and will be happy to come again.

Leave a paper with the wifi password in the living room.

Nice apartment with a great view

What a lovely stay. Great view, enough free parking spots available in the street. In 7 minutes you can drive to Bergen.

Awsome stay

The view to the city is spectacular. The building and furniture is brand new. Everything clean and modern.

Everything great. TV was not smart but we did not have so many opportunities to use it though..
