Pleasant hotel. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Hotel room was lovely, comfy bed and breakfast was really well set up. Although bathroom was clean, it was very tired and the bath panel was coming away and also the counter top of the sink and I could see black mould under both. Single use toiletires in the bathroom not very sustainable. The biggest downside of the stay was the noise - both from outside (loud music and street noise) and inside (people noisy in the corridors late at night) and the room was not adequately sound proofed for this. I travel a lot for work and this is the noisiest hotel I have stayed in for a long time.

This day was perfect for my 3-day conference. It's the late bar and late checkout is very comfortable to spend time in.

We stayed just for one night after seeing a show at the Hippo Drome. Super friendly staff, lovely room and breakfast. One of the best night sleep I've had in a while

Lovely welcome even though reception was really busy booking in a large party. Birthday gift was a great surprise and started weekend celebrations off perfectly. Everywhere in the hotel was really clean and well maintained. Breakfast isn't cheap but is good quality with a wide variety of food and excellent service. Parking is very convenient and they have improved security since our last stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel for couples and families as its location is perfect to access the best of Bristol's attractions.

Worst place to spend the night for the most amount of money. So well done on being the most extortionate hotel to exist. Terrible sarcastic service

Absolute hole, spent too much for a room smaller than a prison cell! Loud as all the clubs that surround it because the place is in the middle of every club and bar so all i heard was garbage trucks, loud music, bottle bins and drunkards.
Do yourself a favour and bring a cardboard box with you, itll be better than staying at this 5 floor .... stacked hotel

A very warm welcome. The room was very nice, bathroom tiny but adequate. The plug sockets on the dressing table desk area are not placed well, too low to the surface so drying my hair with my Dyson wrap was awkward. The room was much too dark. Why are there never enough lights in hotel bedrooms? It was still good overall, just niggles commented on.

Very comfortable hotel in excellent location in Old town of Bristol, where bars, restaurants, places of interest, and railway station all very easily accessible

Great stay as always. The small double rooms are pretty tiny if there were two people in there, but still ok. I would upgrade to a larger room.

Very nice hotel. Clean and spacious. Very handy for being in the centre of Bristol

Bring situated directly by the port it was perfect for our stay. The room was very comfortable, it would have been nice to have some bottled water in the room and maybe a refrigerator. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in both the restaurant and reception. The food in the restaurant was off a very high standard and breakfast was very good. We attended a function in the ballroom and once again the food was very good. The bar staff in the conference centre could do with being a little more knowledgeable about the beverages they are selling but it was fun.

Pretty poor hotel room for the money. Quite dated

Great hotel in a great location. Would definitely recommended to others and would stay here again. Really comfy bed!

Penny pinching at reception trying to get people to spend extra money on room upgrades and then early check ins unless you join their mailing clubs. Very annoying and puts you off.

A business trip, so didn’t actually as much time in the hotel as I’d have liked in order to explore it. But the breakfast experience and interactions with the staff were all really good.
Very comfortable room, surprised there were no USB sockets - but that tiny detail aside - very happy.
The parking option is ideal. Located right next to a multi-level car park, once you register your car at check-in, the access to come and go is automatic, no faffing around and there’s access from the car park directly to the hotel, so no lugging bags through inclement weather.
The pricing for this hotel is generally above what I pay for work trips, and in this case I’d cashed some point to get a better price. Will be giving it serious consideration next time I’m in Bristol.

No usb charging in rooms, nowhere to hang two wet towels, bedside lamps took up entire surface area of bed side table! Expensive given the amenities

Convenient location with attractions in walking distance. Dining and drinking options offered in-house, and Rick’s Bar a great location.

Great service and friendly staff. We chose to have a room on the quiet side of the building (not facing the Harbourside) and it was still noisy until late. Room was really comfortable and can’t fault the cleanliness

The guest rooms and bathrooms are in desperate need of an upgrade & severe clean. There were spiders webs in corners of the room and on curtain rails.
The bathroom facilities are out dates - the sink & taps were leaking. The water filled up I. The basin after the plug was removed - which was reported to reception.

Only downfall was expensive parking

Generally a fantastic stay, couldn't fault the staff and location. Just one thing if you are a light sleeper and staying on a Saturday night. Bars across the water don't turn off the bass until 2am, which you can hear faintly even with the windows firmly shut.

Room was lovely, nice big King bed and anll the usual comforts, although the shower taps were weirdly hard to turn!
Breakfast was great, gluten free options were good, the wait staff were really friendly and helpful.
Great location a stone’s throw from the water and all the bars and restaurants there.

Really disappointed that the bathroom wasn’t clean. Hair all in the tub and the cups/mugs weren’t clean either

I stayed for three nights recently on my first trip to the UK. This trip happened to be for work and the hotel was conveniently located near my client's office near Queens Square. The room was clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and (importantly) quiet. It included a large desk to work from, and the bed was great. The breakfast buffet was nice, though I also really enjoyed breakfast at the cafés nearby. Having it also be right on the canal was another nice little bonus. Bristol is a great little city, very walkable and friendly and lively.

This is a great hotel but I find it a little dated and could do with a uplift to the bar and seating areas. Location is ideal and would definitely recommend it to travellers. One item of note is that the parking next door is a nightmare to get in and out of if you have a regular sized cars and be prepared to scuff your wheels and body work.
