Beautiful property and location. The sounds and scenery was so calming and inviting. We stayed at the garden suite. Its on the main building and not its own cottage. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The only thing i would add is a fan to get some air flowing. Would love to come back.

Looking to explore the Big Island? Staying in Volcano is a quiet little getaway. After being on adventures all day, this place hit all the marks. We stayed in the Pineapple Cabin, perfect for a couple to unwind and relax. Carlos brought breakfast everyday and accommodated my gluten free request.
If we come back to Volcano, I would stay here again!

Perfect place to stay if you want additional time in the Volcano National Park. We stayed here for my boyfriend’s birthday on our Hawaii vacation. Very clean little room with a comfortable bed. We used the hot tub and the robes provided. You should absolutely book a massage if you are staying here- Malia was amazing! Who wouldn’t want a good rub down after hiking all day?

The staff was amazing. Within minutes of check in, we had our dining mapped out for our four-day stay. The breakfasts delivered to our cottage (discreetly) were very good! We didn’t get to take advantage of their pack lunches for hikes, but will next time. Loved it!

We stayed at the Pineapple Ohana cottage and it was darling! Not hard to find, but felt very private. We were late to check in and had excellent communication from Carlos. He sent us very clear instructions and we got in with no problems. The cottage itself was perfect for a couple felt very roomy and well planned in addition to being clean. We had a private hot tub and breakfast for the next morning was waiting in the fridge ready to heat up. The only thing that could have made it better was a mattress topper as the bed was a little bit firm for my taste. 3 minute drive to the Volcano park gates. I absolutely highly recommend.

Great location point blank to jungle and volcano park. Quiet and comfy across the board. Pineapple Ohana was perfect for a couple and the personal hot tub helped the pain from all our hiking. Morning breakfast was always fresh and tasted great.

The breakfast at this place should be improved. They put cold breakfast in the fridge in the room the night before. This can be easily improved since they do have a kitchen on site to offer fresh and warm food.

If you plan to visit the beautiful Volcanoes town and National Park, look no further than the Volcano Village Estates. It is a charming tropical paradise with gorgeous grounds, impeccably clean and cozy rooms, and a staff that goes above and beyond. The homemade breakfast delivered to your room the night before is delicious and gives you the freedom to start your day whenever you’d like. The bed and bedding is extremely comfortable, and the rooms are well-sized. When you look out your windows, you will see lush tropical plants that complete the tropical cottage experience. But the most impressive quality of this gem B&B is the staff. Lafayette, the manager, embodies the spirit of Aloha. When my wife told her she was pregnant and loved French toast, she made her an extra order of it for our growing baby, and left a handwritten note in our room with a beautiful bag of gifts, including a book addressed to our future son. We were so touched - it was a highlight of our trip. Do not miss this place!!

We were greeted warmly and with gorgeous lei’s. Very well kept and clean place. Just yards off the main road but feels like your own private hideaway in the forest. Very inviting and well designed cabins.
3 minutes to the volcano park entrance and restaurant.

Volcano Village Estates was an amazing experience for both myself and my wife. We totally enjoyed and were invigorated by our stay. The sounds at night were therapeutic, the breakfasts were convenient and delicious. the close proximity to the Volcano National Forrest made early morning rise easy for enjoying sunrises at the end of the Chain of Craters drive. Beautiful.

The pictures don’t do the hotel justice. This was a cute property and it felt like we were staying in a rainforest. My wife and I stayed here instead of Hilo and we’re glad we did. Proximity to the Volcano National Park can’t be beat — we could be inside the park within 5 minutes. The off hours check-in process was seamless and the hotel staff was very responsive by email and text. Having breakfast left in our mini-fridge each night made the mornings more convenient. Would stay here again the next time I want to visit the National Park.

My wife and I loved this property and our room, which was the Hina room, and Pua was great! The heated floors and towel rack and comfortable robes were just what the doctor ordered after being out in the rain all day. Sleeping with the sliding glass door open and hearing the sounds of the forest made for an incredibly tranquil night seep. The fresh fruit and French toast made for a delicious breakfast as well. We highly recommend this property for those spending time in the Volcano area.
