This was our second stay in the last year and we have enjoyed our visits. Breakfast cabin is great and delicious choices. Good location for getting into Abingdon easily for lunch or dinner.
TV could be a bit bigger but not a big problem

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the town center. Perfect for long walks around the fields (back of the hotel) with our dog and blessed with a lovely view of the Thames River. Pet friendly, lovely gardens and rooms, clean, comfortable, super easy self check-in/check-out, good breakfast with vegan options. Staff Millie and Kalie very friendly.
The TV is small and far from the bed so difficult to watch but not a problem at all as we spent all day outside. The mattress could be a bit better but just fine.

Lovely B&B, clean, comfortable, easy self check-in, great breakfast and location superb - 5 to 10 min stroll in to Abingdon.
Nothing not to like!

The room was small but cosy with a comfortable bed. The location is lovely, just over the bridge from town and surrounded by lovely tranquil countryside. It’s close to restaurants and pubs and the self check-in is straightforward. Breakfast is basic (toast, pastries, cereal, boiled eggs) but tasty. It’s a great spot to stay!
Everything was great! If I had to be picky, the television is tiny (but that didn’t bother me) and while the room description listed a desk, there wasn’t one in the room. I managed just fine with a chair and the dresser.

Interesting and nice location in an old farmhouse. The short walk to Abingdon in the morning across the fields was very nice.
You need to be aware that the place is outside of Abingdon in the fields. The walk on the late evening from Abdingdon to the B&B was not so nice since you need to follow a totally unlightened small street.

Spent 2 nights for a work-related trip at UKAEA. Optimal position, room clean, great breakfast.
Useful the self check-in as I wasn't sure about my arrival time.
The manager, Millie, always available for help.

Lovely location, quiet, Pleasantly decorated room. Warm breakfast cabin, nice breakfast.
A single bed in rm 4 was uncomfortable. The duvet and blanket needed to be larger. Room was very cold overnight even with heating on, that I turned up. Needs a rug as floor very cold. Thought it was free wifi.

The rooms were a nice size, nice and clean and functional.
Breakfast was simple, but nice. The breakfast room lacked atmosphere but it is winter and I can absolutely see how in summer the whole place would be alive.

Lovely welcome from staff , superb selection for breakfast and quite peaceful start to the morning ;-)
The single bed wasn't very comfortable but the room was superb and well thought out, very cosy

Lovely warm room .Shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was good with lots of choices and tastes catered for .Eaxamples of this were oat milk and sour dough bread..
The twin beds were very hard so not very comfortable. they ran out of the lovely croissants on the last day. there is no light on the path from the main road to the Barns which maybe needs addressing.

The room we had was very good and clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was only continental, I was on the understanding it would be a full English breakfast, very disappointed.

Lovely brekky. Good value for the cost.
Bathroom could do with updating. Functional but tired. Towels not great. Also bed needs replacing. Good value but a little a few updates needed

Pretty much everything was perfect.
It’s not so much a dislike, but for us the mattress was too firm which led to a poor nights sleep.

The accommodation was stylish and very comfortable-snug
Would have liked a cooked breakfast

The heated bathroom floor and good water pressue
Thought it was very expensive for a basic room. No staff at all on arrival - only person we saw was one girl at breakfast. Breakfast was very basic - thought we may have cooked breakfast. But no. There was one cracked boiled egg left - when I asked if they were cooking more she said no. It was 8.30 and breakfast was til 9??? Only one pastry left. Do they just do first come first served? Not good enough for the money we paid. Wish I had gone somewhere else. Was also very cold all night. Very thin duvet. Then horrendous noise at 5.30/6am - assumed it was boiler starting. Impossible to sleep. So all in all - poor value for money. Won’t go again

Lovely rooms, great location and nice and quiet, breakfast in the cabin was delightful.
Walls are a little thin so could hear our neighbours a bit.

The location is awesome. Ideal for families. The beds and the heating perfect. Good shower. Good continental breakfast and lovely personal. It's a discovery. I wish I could have stayed for long!!
The pipes were a little noisy. And you could hear the neighbours quite loud.

Lovely courtyard
Easy access to chalet

Room didn’t have a ‘homely’ feel and was rather dated.
Smell of damp
Could hear other guests in adjoining rooms very easily.
TV needs to be updated

Great location
Another guest walked into our room unannounced as had been given the wrong room number.

Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice and as much or as little as you wanted. Loved the idea that we could use the breakfast cabin to prepare our own meals if we chose.
